Aw...this will be the last one...maybe...
and..it's not much of a distraction...x.x;
Zane walked along, hiding in the shadows of the few trees that lined the beach. I wonder what I'll find if I keep going this way... he thought, his tail twitching slightly from side to side. Quickly, even though she was so far away, Zane could make out the figure of another Sitara. I should go and say hi. he thought, tucking in his wings as he started to trot over to her.

Rosalie was exercising the creative side of herself today. She had gotten many different types of berries, flowers, leaves, and vines, and taken them to the shore of the beach to work on a project. Now..What to do with these things? she asked herself. She had really just started on an impulse and hadn't gotten very far.
Suddenly, her ears twitched, and she looked up. Another Sitara? she thought, hearing footsteps. I suppose we'll see what happens.

As Zane grew closer to the other Sitara, he could tell it was a female, and he could tell that she was very beautiful. Whoa... was all he could think as he approached her. "Um..hello there..beautiful." he said, not knowing what else to say to someone as beautiful as her. He didn't even realize he was floating slightly off the ground..that is, until he looked down. Ack he thought, landing with a slight thud. "Erm..Hi.." he said, thanking all the powers above that his fur was red, and that she couldn't see just how much he was blushing...hopefully.

Rosalie laughed as she heard a thud behind her. "Having trouble there, sir? she asked, her voice light and cheery as she looked over her shoulder at Zane. She smoothly stood up, the red carnation that she was holding with her tail suddenly in front of Zanes face. "Here, have a flower," she offered with a smile. "Flowers cheer people up sometimes. And anyway, it matches your fur. My name's Rosalie, and you are?" she asked, seemingly unaffected by the comment about being beautiful.

Zane smiled slightly. "Just a tad..but I'm alright." he said, as he looked from her, to the flower she was holding out in front of him. "Thank you, but, I'm afraid that this flower won't look too good on me..but it will look beautifully on you, Rosalie." he said, smiling at her as he stood up and gently took the flower from her, and gently placed it above her ear. "See? That looks way better on someone as beautiful as you." he said, smiling at her. "Oh..yes, how rude of me. My name is Zane. And it's a pleasure to meet you." he said, as he bowed, smiling as he looked up at her.

"Likewise, Zane," Rosalie responded before laughing at the look on his face. "I'm hardly considered 'beautiful', but even if you give me this flower, I still have plenty more," she said, nodding to the bunch of flowers beside her. She smoothly picked another red one and placed it on top of Zane's head. "Keep it. Heavens above know I don't need it. To tell you the truth, I don't even know why I have it. I just got the impulse to go collect flowers." She laughed again, "I guess boredom gets to you after a while. So, Zane, what brings you to these parts of the island?"

Zane smiled at her. "Thank you...I'll keep it." he said, as he sat upright, and curled his long tail around himself. "Beautiful sitara..are attracted to beautiful flowers." he said, as he watched her for a moment, then hearing her question, he looked out towards the sea. "I like coming to the beach..it's usually so peaceful..and you never know who or what you'll find..." he said, looking back up at her, the moon light causing his fur to sparkle slightly. "Plus..the sound of the calm sea helps me sleep...but tonight, it isn't being very calm..maybe there is a storm approaching." he said, as he looked towards the sky that covered the ocean. He noticed two large storm clouds blowing in. "If you'd like, I know of a place where we can escape the storm. And it isn't very far from here...so if you'd like to go, I can lead you to it."

Rosalie saw what the moon did to Zanes fur, and she was momentarily speechless. "I-I'm sorry he storm's going to mess with your sleep," she said after a moment, blushing slightly. "Sure, I'll follow you.Would you like me to stay with you tonight, so you can sleep?Sometimes I find it helpful when I have company," said Rosalie with a smile. She looked up at Zanes head and giggled. "If beautiful flowers attract with beautiful Sitara...Well, theres the reason why you look so adorable with a flower on your head." Rosalie looked at it again, and she couldn't help but to add, "Your fur sparkles when you're at the beach. Did you know that?"

Zane stretched his wings slightly. "Please don't be sorry, it isn't your fault a storm is coming." he said, gently brushing his tail against her nose. "I'm glad you'll come with me...and I'd love it if you would stay with me tonight..and maybe for longer..if you don't mind. Company is always nice to have." he said smiling as she told him he looked adorable. "I'm adorable...and you...you are beautiful..very beautiful indeed." he said, smiling at her. "My fur sparkles?..No..I didn't know that."

Rosalie giggled, Zane's tail tickling her, causing her voice to crack when she said "I-I know it's not my fault for the storm, but it still messes around with your sleeping habits, and sometimes its hard to get back on track." She smiled when Zane admitted to not knowing that his fur sparkles. "Well, now you know.Your wings do,too, but not as much...And adorable is better than beautiful."
Rosalie jumped slightly when thunder boomed from the sky, squeaking and wrapping her tail protectively around herself. "T..That was unexpected," Rosalie muttered, her usually light pink face growing darker. "Although I probably should have seen it coming.."

Zane smiled as she giggles, but his smile quickly went away. "Well..it does mess with my sleeping habits..and it is hard to try and get used to old habits again..but..it's okay." he said, as he looked into her eyes. "Yep, now I know..that both my fur and wings sparkle...but..did you know..that your eyes sparkle?" he said, inching a little closer to her...that is..until the thunder cracked.
"Very...I'm sorry it scared you.." he said, moving closer to her..as if trying to protect her. "It's not always possible to see something like that coming..even with a storm coming, one never knows when the lightning will strike..nor when the thunder will sound." he said, keeping close to her as he stood up. "Maybe we should get going..before it starts to pour..." he said, looking up at the sky. "It isn't far...so we should make it." he said, looking in the direction of the trees. "It's only through those trees..and it's well protected from the weather..well..as protected as a cave can get."

Rosalie nodded, agreeable to pretty much anything at that point. "I'd rather you not die of being struck by lightning--you didn't do anything to do deserve it," she responded, following Zanes gaze to the sky. "Its not your fault nature scared me," she added with a smile, nudging Zane gently on the cheek before looking over at the trees. "Well protected, huh?Protected enough for you to sleep, maybe? I don't want to go anywhere that you wouldn't be able to sleep.." she said worriedly, looking over her shoulder at Zane. "your health could be a stake here."

Zane blushed slightly as she nudged him. "Well..no flying in the storm...that way I know I won't get struck..unless we stay on the beach." he said, standing up and gently nudging her back. "Because lightning seems to strike the sand a lot....it does leave behind something quite special when it does.." he said, the wind picking up slightly, ruffling their fur. "Yes..I'll be able to sleep there..especially with you there with me." he said, smiling at her slightly. "Thank you..though..for worrying about me..even though you just met me...but..if you stay with me..would you be able to sleep?" he asked, gently nudging her again. "After all..if I'm able to sleep...it wouldn't be that fare to you if you can't sleep...and your health is just as important as my health."
