The mist wandered around, surrounding the peak of crater almost completely. Litle birds chirped, playing with each other, chasing themselves like little lovers. It was early morning there.
Laini sat on the root of the crater hill, watching the crater, deeply in her thoughts. Can you see there, in the horizon. There is the bowl of Happiness. There will be our Future. I have been there. It's wonderful place. It's savanna's flowers the life, there many herds wander. Herds you have not seen before. The perfect place for us, for our cubs, whenever we get them. It was my Home, it still is. But I did leave, I did leave for you. I was coming to take you, take you there, in the paradise. Will you follow me, Laini? Will you follow me to the paradise? Lowering her head, Laini sighed, tear escaping on to her muzzle. Now it's time, she decided, standing up and taking a step forward, towards the crater. Msikizi, now it's time. I'm coming to home.

Steadily making her way up the rocky side to that same crater, a quarter of the path already travelled, was Rahima. Her pregnant body moved with nearly the same feline grace as it usually did but her movements were slower, more tiring. She was happy to be up and about, however - her heart told her it was time to move again and her instincts told her to find a safe place for her cubs.
The crimson lioness had no reason to climb to the peak and down into the crater like her grey friend. When she had wandered the area aimlessly, she had found it a lonely, lovely place. Prefect for having her twins in. Oh, she was sure she was having twins by now...she called one Smaller Bump and the other Kicker.

Wandering, that's all the little crimson and tan cub had been doing for the past few weeks. While there was plenty of food around in other areas, Kirjava had learned that most of those areas were owned by prides, and she was not welcomed there. Crimson eyes looked around until she spotted a sight up ahead that she has never seen before! A huge hole in the ground! Her pace quicken slightly until she spotted two older lioness. Oh, was this a prideland area too? She didn't know and she hadn't encountered any markers of sorts...so this must not be.
Noticing the slower movements, she wondered if they were injured in anyway. It would have never dawned on the cub that these female lionesses were pregnant, as she has yet to learn that concept. Slowing down till she was near the hole in the ground, she lied down and tried not to move that much. Hopefully the other females didn't mind her being here, but this place seemed interesting to her. Perhaps, they were friendly and she'd get gain more friends. That tiny tail of hers moved back and forth as crimson eyes flickered over the hole in the ground.

Bhaskar ventured out towards the crater, rising over a rounded edge. Stupid bird. He had followed a particularly interestingly colored bird out here, and once he saw the smei-circle of the crater rim, he had to see what lay inside. Creeping over the edge, he stood there, his silhouette seen from the center.
Two pregnant lionesses, in here? And.. a cub? But, the cub was away from the others. Maybe not related.. Bhaskar looked around for other lions. This meant something big. A.. pride, perhaps? A gathering, at the least. He stayed on the edge rim of the crater and walked alongside it, very slowly, watching the two pregnant lionesses.
((*Grin* As soon as we're all here, someone please tell me, I want Bhaskar to roar when we've sorta.. formed some kinda group redface sweatdrop ))

(( The map, btw. The crater is so huge! eek blaugh )) Her walk was hard, maybe even a bit harder than her crimsom friend's since she was carrying one cub more inside her. She huffed, and took some pauses on her walk. But she kept going. As she managed to reach the border rocks, she noticed her crimsom friend. "Rahima?" she questioned, sighing tiredly, not believing her eyes. "You're too...?" Not yet she had noticed Kirjava or Bhaskar that were near them.

Having sat down for a short rest, it was unsurprising when Laini's scent got stronger and she came into sight. Standing to greet her, she offered a small smile and a nod. "Cubs on the way. You're here to find a den also?"
Rahima looked briefly in the red cub, wondering if she noticed the light-furred male playfully stalking her. Muroki. Her adopted 'nephew'.

Bhaskar watched them and leaped down into the crater, hoping they'd see him. He was quite a bit away, and his jump into the crater was partially for show, so that they would notice. He didn't really want two angry pregnant lionesses after him right now. He stayed closer to the edge of the crater than them, hoping they would see and accept him before he got any closer.

((Wow, that is big! surprised ))
Ears perked forward as Kirjava felt another presence. It was like a nagging feeling in the back of her mind. Canting her head, her tail flicked slightly. She had caught scent of another, and upon turning her head, crimson eyes rested on an orange male some distance away. Well, this appears to be a popular spot then.
Unsure if she should follow or not, she got up and walked towards the orange male. Perhaps the lionesses wanted to be alone. In a small voice, "Hello."

Laini nodded. "This is the home of him. Well, was," she told, sighing a bit when remembering that her mate was gone now. Then she smiled a bit, sadly but sweet. "I thought that he would have wanted me to get birth in here." She gazed the bottom of the crater, which looked as dry as any area at this season. Still, it looked like a paradise. "Hmm, it looks like we aren't alone", she mentioned when noticing Bhaskar and Kirjava.

"Hey" Popping out of hiding next to his 'prey' Kirjava, he also greeted the orange male. Muroki knew Rahima was watching so even if this meeting went sour...pshing such cautious thoughts aside, he offered the pair a smile.
*
"Yes, I'd noticed. The cub and the male you mean...." Rahima took the step towards her, intending to give her friend an affectionate nuzzle on her shoulder. She stopped short - incase the grey female wasn't as friendly pregnant. "It's good to see you Laini, I just wish we both had loving mates beside us."
"My cubs father left. Three younger, more beautiful lionesses to fight for. He went to try to become a king...and has probably died trying, too."

Jumping at the entrance of Muroki, Kirjava felt her heart beat a little faster before crimson eyes noticed it was another lion. A tan male. A sheepish smile spread across her maw at being frighten so easily, "Hello!" That fluff of a tail flicked back and forth as she returned Muroki's smile with one of her own. At least, this one was friendly, that was always a plus.

Bhaskar started towards the lionesses and cubs slowly. Let them get used to you. He felt a bit relieved. If he were older, this could be worse. An adolescent shouldn't be much of a threat, he hoped.

Laini let out a light laugh and then nizzling Rahima's shoulder in engouraging way. Of course she could nuzzle her! She was her friend after all. "At least we have each other", she sighed, letting out a purr. She glanced at the approaching male, giving her a greeting nod.
(( xd They sound like lovers! blaugh ))

Muroki watched the other, older male curiously before turning his attantion back to Kirjava. Most cubs he ran into were so...weird. Maybe she'd be alright. Not too hyper or angry or silent. She seemed nice so far.
"My name's Malawa" He lied, of course. "What's yours?"
