I've noticed that whenever I'm reading at home, my cat always jumps up and sleeps next to me. So I was curious, do you guys have pets that you normally read with? Or any friends or siblings, or even a stuffed animal or blanket? EDIT: Here's the cat...

Stuffed animals are my only reading partners, but that's not very often.

Blade-Bearer Ian *steals your kitty and reads with it* yeh, my cat keegan ususally jumps on my lap and either a) settles down b) tries to wedge himself between me and the chair arm until I leave in fear of crushing him or c) roll on his back and be cute this is him. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v237/Ian34280/Nature/P1220741.jpg Aw, he's so cute..

I usually read sitting on the floor at a low table (who the heck thought of chairs anyway?). My older cat will often lie next to me. It's so sweet. We don't really talk or play, we just spend time together while not paying much attention to each other. whee
(and cute kitties, btw)

Fairgrass I usually read sitting on the floor at a low table (who the heck thought of chairs anyway?). My older cat will often lie next to me. It's so sweet. We don't really talk or play, we just spend time together while not paying much attention to each other. whee

My stuffed animal Ein.((Like the dog from cowboy bebop)) He's a green teddy bear that was given to me on my 13th birthday a year ago.

my dog, Sir, usually jumps up onto the bed/couch that i am reading on, and just sits with his head in my lap. or he lays next to me on the floor, its so cute!
