Kevin Nash's return, Bret Hart in negotiations with TNA, more Submitted by Brian Cantor on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at 2:23 PM EST
- Kevin Nash will be returning to TNA for the 10/23 "Bound For Glory" PPV. Nash is prominently featured on the PPV poster.
- TNA is also trying to bring in other marquee names to help boost the buyrate. Because this will be the first PPV to have promotion on the Spike TV show, the prospect of an inflated buyrate will put pressure on TNA to provide a great show. If TNA's PPVs do not draw well from that point forward, the deal with Spike TV becomes useless, as there's no money being made from the TV show alone.
One wrestler presently negotiating is Bret "The Hitman" Hart. At the NWA Legends Convention, Hart told reporters and fans that he's more interested in using his insight to help younger wrestlers (he mentioned TNA by name) than returning to WWE in the form of a storyline. This deal is nowhere near done, however.

Nash is way too old and has really bad injury problems TNA are making a mistake by hiring him and paying his wages(which will be fairly high).

Actually, Nash had a staph infection that prevented him from being at the Lockdown PPV (BG James substituted) and he was filming a movie in China after that. Personally, I would like to see maybe Nash and Trytan hook up to be tag champs.

Bah. Nash will walk into the arena and pull eleventeen hamstrings and two quids, forcing him out for another few months. Also, I wouldn't bet on Bret Hart in TNA anytime soon. With his DVD in the works with the WWE, I don't think that Bret would want to do anything that may jepordize this product, especially if he upsets the WWE enough that they make him look bad on the finished product.
If it wasn't for that, than I would have no reason not to see Breat in TNA. He had a stint in the WWA, right after WCW folded and there were no other companies to work for, adn the WWA suddenly had an abundance of talent at their door step. So, Bret in TNA would make sense. Especailly as it seems that they will treat him respectfully.
