Has anyone here ever tried to play bass guitar parts/songs on electric guitar? I myself am learning Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth) by Metallica on my electric. I was just wondering if anybody else was trying to learn a bass guitar part on their guitar.

i write bass parts for my bassist using a guitar with the bass cranked up and treble all the way down. haha. i also learn all the basslines to cover songs for him so i can show him how to play them and play along with the bass while palm muting when i have a quiet part to keep his timing correct. bass parts are wayy too easy on guitar though so i always have to take what i write, remove half the notes and slow it way down so he can handle it.
