I agree... sometimes I wonder where they get those actors/actresses from to do the voiceovers. I'd love to try out for something random like that once in my life loll.

Sometimes the voices in Japanese are better than when they're translated to English.

so true but then again they always have to find something to screw up. Fruites Basket . Poor Ayama. I hope i spelled his name right. Yhr picked a random guy to do his voice and it just roined it. I like the Jpanes voices. Pluse they take stuff out of it. Dam those people.

I know characters like Seto Kaiba have a deeper voice in English than in Japanese.

i think the japanese dub usually turns out better, but there are some shows where the english dub is pretty good, inuyasha is one. 3nodding

Is Naraku's voice more evil in English or Japanese? I've only heard Paul Dobson do his voice.

Hmm. I'd say Japanese because there's this distinctive calm evilness to his voice, it's really hard to describe but it's very distinctive. And he sings quite well, (okay, all seiyuu sing, but he's awesome.)

I perfer the Japanese version, the girls' voices are done better. Kagome's english voice is just way to high and not soft enough. And don't get me started on Sango's...
