It's up to you if you want to play along. But I thought this would be fun. Also, you can do it based on your real name or your username.
This was an assignment in my Speech class. It was the first time many of us have stood before any sizable crowd and spoke. But because it was so fun today, I thought we might try it here. Join in if you want to. What the exact assignment was to make up a rhyme to go with our name and include something unique about ourselves in the tale. It can be a poem or similar type of speech.

My name is Barbie and I am a mother.
I have a 16-year-old daughter and she has a 5-year-old brother.
They keep me quite busy, at times almost dizzy.
So in order to get away and find a release, I enroll in college and finally find peace.
It has been many years since I was in school.
I am hoping I can keep from looking the fool.
With the kids and class, I cannot sit on my ass_umptions that things will be easy.
I just pray that in speech I do not become queasy.

I'm scattered and restless, and have to be free

I often zone out if I'm in really big crowds
Well now I'm just rambling so I'll wrap this thing up

I just got done posting the whole Dragonflight book full of Dragon Ballads (one for each "chapter") so I *should* be in a rhyming mood!

I'm always at the computer, on the internet
I haven't found anything more fun to do yet!
Reading comes close; I enjoy McCaffrey and Rowling
And I do like the movies that leave me a'bawling!
I've decided to look into web design and graphics
Maybe staying at home will keep me out of traffic
'Tho I finally tackled my fear of driving
And learned to cook meals, for which I was striving
Now I'm trying to raise Jade to be a nice young lady
And try not to let it drive me too crazy!

I have problems reading and i can't hardly rhyme...
I have 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl...
They get on my nerves, but they are my world....
I come here online, to relieve some of this stress...
If i wasn't able to do it, I would surely be a mess....
I hang out on neo, subeta and gaia...
to hang with my friends, even if only for an hour....
My best friend on here is of course Sunny...
She keeps me in line, and damn she is funny....
If it wasnt for her, I know I would be lost....
We help each other out, what ever the cost...
I think this has gone on quite long enough...
coming up with these rymes are rather tough...
so here I go now, clicking submit...
I hope you all like this whole rhyming bit..............

I think what Butterfly said was just too funny.
It never fails, when I am down and sad...
That she lifts me up and makes me so glad.
Now on to me, what can I say...
I am just me, nothing special, no way.
I take care of my 2 girls day in and day out...
and work on my graphics, I love it, no doubt.
I love making graphics, making them for fun...
I do them whenever I am not on the run.
I make them for friends, every once in a while...
It really makes my day when I make them smile.
I didn't want to do this, cause I don't know how...
but Butterfly bugged me all day... until now.
She helped me write this, and who would know more...
of the things about me, but what are friends for.
