Unlike a population on the Jonas fans now-a-days, I actually listen to them and actually understand what every single song is about. The fact that they are all extremely attractive is just a bonus.
I can honestly say, I've been a fan since the Mandy days. Unfortunatly, I did not purchase an "It's About Time" CD (which I'm regretting because they sell on ebay for like $100). I've always liked Nick the best for some reason, but now I actually have a reason. At first, I just thought he was cute, but thats not it anymore. He's my inspiration. The way he deals with his diabetes is what surprises me. He's enjoying his life, doing what he loves and it doesn't bother him at all anymore. Thus, he is still my personal favorite of the three.
Seriously you can not be a TRUE fan if you only like them for their looks.
If you actually listen to the songs and not only memorize them becuase they sing them, thats awesome.
and it's really dissapointing because thousands of their fans aren't really true.
I mean there are still PLENTY of Real fans, but still
Oh, and the fact that people pretty much cut Kevin out of the band really ticks me off. Even magazines are starting to do it. They give you giant posters of Nick and Joe, but they leave Kevin out

thats sooooooooooooooo and totally extremely true. I would never like a guy just because they have a pretty face i mean the boys do but they have an amazing talent and they are really good singers/songwriters and i love them because they have had a huge impact on my life in a positive way which i swhy i love them and because they really care and are not some stupid band or singer that has curse words for every single lyric to their song, their songs actually have meaning and theye are not a band that wears their pants to their knees they are real true boys that just happen to have amazing talent which is why i love 'em to death

I understand what you're trying to say about true fans and whatnot but I'm on the fence with your 'arguments.'
There are fans that only like them for how extremely hot they are and everything excluding their music, but I wouldn't label those fans as 'fake fans.' More so they are considered as teenyboppers.
I've said this numerous times, but through my thoughts there is no such thing as a fake fan. I mean, we all love them, some more than others. We share the common factor of having an interest in them and that makes you a fan. What you call a fake fan is a teenybopper for me; they'll like them for when they're in the 'limelight' and then drop them when some other equally hot band comes out.
Saying there is something as a fake Jonas fan is like saying that you can't be a true fan if you picked a favorite.
But that's just how my mind runs. xD

I completely agree with you guys...... at the one concert ive seen its like kevin doesnt exist,... but if u want to read a good mag w/ kevin in it Tiger Beat is a great 1..... I like them because they are just another "boyband" they have talent, potential, looks, and personality. I espcially like their purity ring deal. I mean how many stars have that? and PUBLICLY admit it? And they are Christians.... thats a HUGE bonas in my book biggrin

Maybe I'm pushing it a bit, but what I'm just saying there's nothing as a 'fake fan.' Whereas, you state that that's true.
Anyway, aside from that...
Seeing how much they've grown over the past few years, I wouldn't mind if a few teenyboppers 'moved on.' It's getting really annoying how often I hear people in my school stating how hot these boys are. Well, only Joe and Nick. Again, like always, Kevin is being excluded 90% of the time.

Your right, a lot of their fans should look past their faces and listen to their music. Yeah they are cute and all but if you sit down a listen to their songs and actually pat attention to the words you realize that there is so much more to them. I mean they have amazing personalities, voices, and they are just all around amazing ! People need to stop excluding Kevin too, he may not be the cutest or the youngest but he is part of the band. You can't say " Oh i like the Jonas Brothers, except Kevin " True fans will accept everyone and everything about them. There may not be a fake fan, but not all fans are true fans.

Even more people don't like Kevin because of his curly hair!
He's the second one on my order of fav joni (plural for jonas sweatdrop )
It's amazing that Kevin deals so well with rejection. But Nick, my uncle had diabetes, and it wasn't very fun. Nick tours the country! Seriously, true inspiration.

I've heard of quit a few people who call themselves "fans" and don't like Kevin, and don't bother to listen to thier music and just say "I'm a fan, cause I think they're cute"! But then I see so many fans that are true fans who actualy like Kevin and don't just like them for thier looks: those are true fans!!!

i know i can't belive they would do that to pour kevin popstar came out with a all jonas mag it was sweet and "almost" NOBODY likes kevin everybody likes nick and joe only (i said almost) i mean i love nick and joe but i also love kevin so thats just wrong stare

everytime i hear someone say kevin is not cute, i personally want to strangle them. if you are a TRUE fan, you love all 3 of the boys!
and even though i didnt hear about them until disney, i took the time to go and research their older stuff too. and i love it's about time more than their current album actually :] its amazing and i'm surprised it didnt get better reception...
i hate those people who know like 3 songs, and are like omg i love them.
NO you dont, sorry...

OMJ! The worst one is the Kevin hating! You wont believe how much people in my school *claim* they're Jonas fans but hate Kevin! It pisses me off soooo much! When you ask them what songs they know they usually just say "SOS", "Hold On" and "WYLMITE". It just drives me CRAZY! evil
