Personality
In a Nut Shell: Invidia is learning to put up with more people. She is still very stand offish and will not interact unless someone makes the effort.
In Depth: She loved once, but another woman came between them. So she struck out against her unfaithful lover and his mistress. Her heart was broken so she broke them. Her punishment for this was to constantly be reincarnated and suffer another heart break, but maybe this time her fate will be different. Due to this history, which she still remembers well, Invidia has very angry reactions to people who talk of love. She literally feels pain when she thinks about it so she wants to avoid any type of love other than Wendell's emolove. Which is filled with pain, which she likes.
Around Strangers - She sticks close to Wendell.
Around Friends - She still sticks close to Wendell.
Around Enemies - Wendell's enemies are hers. If they proceed to assulat him she will use her ear bleeding voice to either scare the beejeeses out of them or cause them pain.
Alone - Invidia seems to stew in her own hatred when alone. The broken heart in her middle almost drips with the blood she once spilled all those ears ago.
With Wendell- She seems much more relaxed, like Wendell's depressive nature draws away her own feelings of revenge.

Name Origin: Wendell - Old short form of Germanic names beginning with the element wendel meaning "a Vandal". The Vandals were a Germanic tribe who invaded Spain and North Africa in the 5th century. The tribal name was later applied to other groups such as the Wends, a Slavic people living between the Elbe and the Ober.
Morgan - steadfast, From the Old Welsh masculine name Morcant, which was possibly derived from Welsh mor "sea" and cant "circle".
Van de Berg - Surname from the Netherlands

Personality
In a Nut Shell: Wendell is usually somewhat distance and depressed; he goes into crying fits at the most random of times. He is also VERY blunt. Ask a question and you get an answer, which might lead to Wendell getting his a** kicked. He's loyal to his friends, always standing by them even if it means getting his kester kicked.
In Depth: Deep down, Wendell feels very isolated from everyone. Raised around death and saddness, he feels like no one really understands what death really means. He tries to express this in his poetry and songs. He doesn't want to act like everything will always be fine, becase he knows it won't.
Around Strangers - Completely antisocial. He keeps his head down and doesn't make eye contact.
Around Friends - He seems more interactive but still has the "creepy" vibe going He seems more laid back and talkative since Clara usually asks him questions.
Around Enemies - He has lots, and mostly he acts scared because they beat him up.
Alone - Wendell sinks deep into his depression when alone. It's during these times he cuts himself or writes his darkest poetry. He hides this from Clara but Maxwell knows about it.
With Invidia - He seems at ease, as if she is something that understands him.

Body Type: VERY skinny. Wendell doesn't work out at all. In fact the only exercise he gets is from working at his dad's funeral parlor/mortuary.

Family
Dad: Mr. Van de Burg is an old fashioned kind of gentleman. Tall with greying blonde hair he looks very much like his Dutch ancestory. He, like his father before him, is a mortician and hopes one day his son will follow in his foot steps. He constantly thinks Wendell and Clara are dating, despite all obvious evidence that they aren't. He uses a great deal of 1950s lingo so Wendell is usually translating for him. He thinks Maxwell is a fine young lad, which is why he hired him as help in the shop.
Mom: Mrs. Van de Burg is a very happy loving mother who loves to cook for her son and his friends. Because of this she is rather plump but always having a smile on her face. Her smiles usually make the lost of the loved one a bit less to bare. She works as the funeral director in the parlor and adores her son. She, like her husband, is completely oblivious to their son's depressive state. She adores Clara like a child of her own and treats Maxwell like a young man. But she does make some great hot chocolate! Friends
Clara: Wendell met Clara at the young age of eight years old when she moved in down the street. He was already starting down his emo path and Clara didn't seem to mind his oddness. They share shopping interests as Wendell only shops at thrift stores and Clara collects antique jewelry. More than once he's had to fend off an old woman so Clara could get some bauble. She's forever trying to cheer him up when he goes into his crying fits or depressive moods. It's not like he's resentful of her attempts, he just knows they don't work. He cares a lot about her, more than he's willing to admit.
Maxwell: Wendell and Maxwell gravitated towards each other due to their odd natures in middle school. Wendell found that he could tell Maxwell things and he wouldn't constantly repeat them to Clara. This did wonders for some of his deeper problems. Wendell also see's him as a intermediate between his moody nature and Clara's perky nature. He revealed his cutting habit to Maxwell only to make sure Clara never found out. He trusts his friend to help him out when he needs it. Skippy: Skippy is a capuchin monkey owned by Maxwell's mother. Despite constantly terrorizing everyone else, Wendell seems to have bonded with the small creature. Either that or Skippy realises he can make himself miserable in ways Skippy could only dream of. This is somewhat of a strain on his friendship with Maxwell, mostly when Skippy and Wendell are cuddling.
Korea: Wendell met Korea at the future business owner's field trip to the local college. As they both quickly established that neither wanted to hang out with the stupid crowd, they proceeded to drive off in Wendell's herse and have their own fun. Which considered of drinking coffee and hanging out on a playground.
Other Creatures Fiero: Feiro is Korea's ward and the first grown creature Wendell ever met. He's very bubbly and wants desperately to make friend with Invidia, despite the fact she hit him. He was very upset at the incident and is very careful around the dark orb. To try and make friends with her, Fiero taught Invidia how to use the slide, which she seemed to enjoy a lot.

The Van de Burg Mortuary This is the home of Wendell and workplace of his parents. It's also the place the trio spend the most time at. Wendell's room is in the attic where he sits writing poetry or practicing his guitar. The walls are painted black with random drawings in blacklight paint on them. He has a desk where he works on his computer, a mattress on the floor to act as a bed, and his bean bag where he does most of his writing and music. The second floor is where Wendell's parents live. There is a bedroom, a guest room, a kitchen/dinning room, a small living room, and a bathroom. Mrs. Van de Burg loves to cook for guests, both the grieving and the not. She always has either hot chocolate during the winter or a cool glass of lemonaide in the summer ready for all her children The shop is on the main floor and the medical room is in the basement The parlor is very beautifully furnished and made to the comfort of the grieving families. The medical room is where Mr. Van de Burg does the embalming and prep work for the body viewing.
