She wasn't exactly hard to miss. Dark as ebony, yet shimmering with strange tatoo like markings of pure white, the large goddess passed in to the pridelands without a moments hesitation. of course the fact that she was a very huge goddess, in all instances, both in size and girth made her stand out like a sore thumb walking in to the golden lands of the pridelands. Then there was her jewelry, every inch of the extra large goddess shimmered with some trinket or prize, a pelt draped around her throat and silks ties arounf her haunches and shoulders, her ears shimmered with gold, silver and bone and even her tiny wings, one pair white, the other black, caught the light as they moved the tiny golden ringletts and gems which adorned them capturing the light perfectly.
She was greed. Every inch of her spoke of being greed, she was the pure fursonification of her domain and she loved it. She felt she was perfect, becutiful, she had more of everything than everyone else, what more could anyone ask for from the perfect being?
A content cat like smile raised on her maw as she moved to the shade of a tree where she lay looking every inch like that cat that had gotten the cream. Sheknew someone would show up soon. She could always fel the pull of those whom were deeply in her domain. Someone filled with intence greed was on their way and she would happily wait all day for them to arrive.

It was impossible to miss a goddess like Ubuje, especially after a vision that had came to her in the form of a dream. Katiti'manina had learned early on to follow her dreams, because they had brought her quite a few prizes since she had started believing them to be true. They showed her where trinkets, hidden for years and years, could be found. It was why she was now so richly adorned in gold and blue, though she had a more personal stash of items hidden away for when she wanted to change things up. But for now her items were matching and some of her favorite, and they were applied evenly and prettily to her body. She wasn't one of those girls that just piled on the jewelry because everything was pretty. She had enough sense to put on things that went together. There was a particular princess who didn't understand that, and so Kat sought to be quite different from that princess.
So, not entirely on whim, she followed her vision through the long grasses of the Pridelands. It was a big adventure for the little cub, but the opportunity to have new jewelry was something that she simply could not pass up on. Kat wanted to expand her collection, wanted to wear something new and unique. But, what it came down to was simply that she wanted, and because she wanted she had to have it. The young cub would not take 'no' for an answer. She had a strong backbone and could become quite determined when she wanted something.
Just then she saw the huge black lioness, elaborately decorated in trinkets and accessories. And with one look at the lioness, Kat knew that she wanted some of them. But... how to get them was the question. While thinking upon that, Kat made her way over to the goddess, her blue eyes wide and 'trusting'. She wanted Ubuje to like her... like her enough to give her something, or give her an opening to take something that she liked. Kat was becoming particularly fond of the fox pelt and all the earrings - definitely the one with the claw attached to it.
"Hey," she said once she was close enough to Ubuje that the other could hear her. "I haven't seen you before. You knew to the Pridelands?"

Deep onyx like eyes opened slowly and the very large goddess looked upon the little lioness with a smile. A cub? Well greed started early in these lands it seemed. She let a smile trace her lips, a smile which hid any malicious ideas that the large black, heavily adorned lioness had on her mind. "Hello my dahling, I'v been waiting for you, I was wondering when you would come." A puurr rolled over her dark lips and she looked at the tri coloured cub in a relaxed almost sleepy manner.
The way the goddesss spoke rang of royalty and riches, her voice slightly snobbish though very friendly. She had after all been manipulating mortals for centuries, she knew how to speak to the innocent.
"New my sweetness? Oh no, I have lived for thousands upon thousands of years wandering the earth and granting gifts for those I like." Her black eyes shimmered, tiny coal black marbles hidden amongst the chubby cheeks. She flitted her wings then and the thousands of trinkets which adorned them tinkled in a sort of magical sounding way the light capturing the glint of gold and silver.
"Now my little lovely you should know my name, I go by Ubuge and I see you have your eye on my wares yes? Well my little lovey I have a price but first I must know your name you can't simply be little dahling forever no matter how cute you are!" She laughed marrilly, the kind of laugh you would expect to issue from an old loving aunt that liked to kiss you and hug you to their giant bussom just because they love you that much.
"Though my sweet pea I would warn you not to try and steal from me, others have tried and have met a very sticky end in the process. you see my little loveley my items are cursed to those whom steal them, they must be given, or traded fairly my little mite, I wouldn't want you to have a horrible accident now." The sympathy in her voice sounded real, sounded true, of course the cub would never know her domain, only that she was a goddess to reveal her true nature would only scare the cub away, this cub, this greedy little child, fed her power and made it that much stronger, her want, nay need for her shiney trinkets echoed in her ears and caused her shommering white markings to glow brighter.

The first thing she thought about this lioness was that they had to be related in some obscure way, because Ubuje was treating her as if she was her neice. Quite honestly, Kat didn't know what to make of that. For a little bit she stared up at the large black lioness, trying to figure her out. Ubuje was an anomoly, and it was beginning to frustrate the little cub. But... the smile on Ubuje's face seemed friendly, and when Ubuje talked she seemed nice enough as well. Kat could give in a little and trust this rather large lioness. It couldn't hurt her that much... could it?
Something about Ubuje's introduction caught her attention, and with sharp blue eyes she examined the other. "Do you have dreams too?" Visions. That was what Kat was talking about, because to her mind the only way to be waiting for someone you didn't know was to have a dream about them. Kat had had a dream about a lioness of the general size and shape of Ubuje (she on some occassions didn't get a lot of detail), and from that dream Kat knew that she had to meet this lioness, that it would profit her to meet Ubuje.
Kat arched her eyebrows in disbelief as Ubuje went on to say that she had been living for thousands of years. But, just then it came to her notice that there were tiny wings upon the lioness' back, wings that shimmered with jewelry. "You're a goddess?" Her voice was sweet with the innocence of youth, eyes wide with astonishment that she was actually talking to a goddess. Her dream hadn't told her that! In fact, her dream seemed to have pointedly left out the fact that Kat would be meeting a goddess. It had only pointed her in the direction of trinkets and riches. Sometimes she really wished her dreams could be a little more specific at times.
"A price?" Obviously she didn't like the idea of this, crinkling her nose and giving the large lioness a flat look. It was evident that Kat had not been introduced to the idea of bargaining, because all the trinkets she picked up were surprisingly unowned. "Oh, well, I'm Katiti'manina. Everyone just calls me Kat, though. Not Kitty Kat. Kat." Apparently some of her friends had given her a nickname that she didn't quite enjoy. Kat was easy and simple, and it was the name that was going to stick with her throughout the rest of her life.
"I wasn't thinkin' about stealing," she said defensively, her chest puffing out as an insulted look came onto her face. Of course, she had been thinking about it, but to tell a goddess that would be insane. Plus, she had only thought about doing that when she didn't realize she was talking to a goddess. Kat was a smart enough cub to know that messing with a goddess by stealing their prized possessions would only lead to trouble. Kat wanted to remain on the gods' good sides, not the bad ones.

((sorry for the wait hun my brain had a day off XD!))
The dark female flickered her tail once, twice, a third time and the shimmering bracer which encircled her rather thick, appendage glimmered with every flick.
"Don't worry sweet pea I never charge too much" She smiled her dark eyes glowing almost ominously. "Kat, what a delightful name my dahling, I don't need dreams little one, I am lead to the places where people need me by their feelings. You my little lovely clearly have an eye for beautiful things and I my lovey have alot of beautiful things." She puurred happily her eyes closeing for a moment lookign ever more like a huge dark housecat content to curl up in a large armchair, drink cream and laze her life away.
Her eyes re-opened though and she fixed her gaze on the young female. "Oh I know you wouldn't dream of stealing anything my lovely, you're clearly a lady after my own heart you search and ask for Saana to create beautiful things for you yes?" She smiled, she knew that was not the case, this girl wanted, found, and kept, she had the best type of greed and it made Ubuge feel all the more powerful.
"Now my lovley, lets see what I have in my bag of tricks for you hmm?" She lifted a claw then and shifted the foxses head. There beneath the deep red fur lay thousands of necklaces in hundreds of different metals, gems and jewels. A small silk bag also lay concealed, it glistened with gold thread though the bag was the darkest of purples and shimmered as the dark female moved to open it. "My bag is rather magical my pet, it holds all of my most precious items. I'm sure it will have something to suit you." Slipping a claw in to the bag she hooked out a ring.
Gold in colouration with a large blue stone in the center, smaller blue gems were inlaid down through the gold. The large goddess smiled and held it out to the little cub. "I think this may compliment your entourage yes?" The dark lioness smiled, for what the young girl saw, was not what it seemed. Yes it would shimmer and shine forever as long as Kat remained greedy, but if she gave up her life of greed, the beautiful trinket would show for what it really was, copper with blue glass laid in to it. So was Ubuge's power, to manipulate those of greed so they saw what they wanted to see.
