... I want to know, what do you do... ?
So, while surfing the web I came across a blog with a cute girl writing blogs where each title represented the last days of her life here on earth; the last days of her life until she suddenly checks out. She's pronounced that she's made up her mind and believes that this is what she wants.... To commit suicide after ninety-days.
It instantly touched my heart, and I wanted to do something so badly but I'm just another voice that's probably telling her "no" at the same time everyone else is. She pointed out simply, "There's no purpose for this life in this world."
And, my... She's entirely right. From her perspective, her beliefs and views and such, there is no purpose for life in the sinful world without God that she lives in. For me, as a christian, I do not fear death because I believe it is nothing but a step from this life and into heaven with the grace and acceptance of God of course. Yet, when I take my eyes away from my faith and look at the world as all the nonbelievers view it... death is one of the most scariest things in life because we hold onto everything that the world has to offer.
I want to know, what do you do; what actions do you take to try and save someone when they have a set mind in what they believe in and agree to take the slip and leave?
