Well, the new "4 horeseman" item on gaia has a lot of referance to the 6 horsemen of the book of revelation. What do you think? I mean, there is the Black horse of Famine, which is in revelation. etc. what are your thoughts?

Okay, I consulted my New Life Bible on Revelation 6: 1-8. It talks of six seals that the lamb broke.

The first seal, "As I watched, the Lamb broke the first of the seven seals on the scroll. Then one of the four living beings called out with a voice that sounded like thunder, 'Come!' I looked up and saw a white horse. Its rider carried a bow, and a crown was placed on his head. He rode out to win many battles and gain victory."

The second seal, "When the Lamb broke the second seal, I heard the second living being say, 'Come!' Another horse appeared, a red one. Its rider was given a mighty sword and the authority to remove peace from the earth. And there was war and slaughter everywhere."

The third seal, "When the Lamb broke the third seal, I heard the third living being say, 'Come!' And I looked up and saw a black horse, and its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. And a voice from among the four living beings said, 'A loaf of wheat bread or three loves of barley for a day's pay. And don't waste the olive oil and wine.'"

The fourth seal, "And when the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living being say, 'Come!' And I looked up and saw a horse whose color was pale green like a corpse. And Death was the name of its rider, who was followed around by the Grave. They were given authority over one-fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and famine and disease and wild animals."

The other three seals did not contain any horsemen. Now, some similarities that Gaia put, "Ancient revelations tell of Four Horsemen who would bring about the end times. Though fully summoning these figures to Gaia would be a really, really bad idea, those with the right apocalyptic can wield thier weapons and call forth the ghastly specters of their mounts. Choose from the scythe from the pale horse of death, the flaming sword of the red horse of war, the bow of the white horse of conquest or the scales of the dark horse of pestilence.

Any connections?

I apoligize, I didn't see this post before I put mine up. I agree. And this could be an interesting time for gaians. I refuse to buy any of them because, well, a few of them have to do with the devil and the anti-christ... XD

Gaia's just trying to find something that people might be intrested in So it's okay if a couple of the MC's are duds or if people don't like them. It's basic economics.

And if you look at it. Gaia or rather Gaea (both are used) is actually is the old Gaellic word for "Earth". So really the new MC's in a sense are ironic...think about it.

I honestly don't think that's a possiblity. We're talking about a couple of pixels that stem from what Bible said about the end of the world. I don't think majority people are going to care enough to read the bible when they read your thread in the chatterbox. Then again that's the chatterbox I would've at least used the GD. Mainly because there are a lot of them who would view the thread and have something intelligent to say...and it could get more people to do what you want.

But you do have a good hypothesis and hopefully it'll work.
