i just wanted people in here to know that i have some of the BEST guy friends in the world!!! heart they are such gentlemen!! they open doors for me and help me out of cars and they even go so far as to drive me car for me... and one of my friends even helps me sit down ( you know the chair push in things lol! ) some of my guy friends are of different religions or just dont have on but they all know that is what i expect of them just because it is nice... and i dont think it belittles me in any way like some girl i know... i am just being shown the respect i deserve. and i return the favor by saying thank you and giving hugs( the hugs are what they like the most LOL) whee whee
any of you have friends like that out there... or are some of you guys in this guild like that!??

I know what you mean. I have lots of guy friends. ((Like I've said somewhere before, I get along better with men)). But it's kinda the opposite than your friends. We like to joke around... for example... instead of helping eachother into a chair, we try to pull it out and see if we can make them fall. It's grown a habit that I open the door for them always saying ''Ladies first'' whee They'll wrestle with me, and we'd go out and do fun stuff. ninja Like the car thing... they let me drive... even though it's illegal (sp?). Ahh... we mooned the cops once! We always get in trouble together.. 3nodding even if we weren't part of it, hey, at least we're spending detention together. Yeah, we help eachother out. But I think they are the greatest in the world... they treat me how I want to be treated, corse I'm immature, so they are too.. xp Yeah, I see where you're going.

lol that is funny!!!! well we still do stuff like that but... not the mooning part... lol... and who... my guy friends think its funny to pick me up, thro me on a couch and tickle me... that is 3 things that i hate!! being picked up, thrown, then tickled!... but that is still makes them GREAT men!! whee whee

Leeta7 lol that is funny!!!! well we still do stuff like that but... not the mooning part... lol... and who... my guy friends think its funny to pick me up, thro me on a couch and tickle me... that is 3 things that i hate!! being picked up, thrown, then tickled!... but that is still makes them GREAT men!! whee whee Haha! ninja I don't like to be picked up.. unless their helping me into a trash can, if they pick me up they're not going to be able to stand for a while. mrgreen

Rikonah I don't like to say so, because it seems like bragging, but I do that kinda stuff all the time. I guess it helped a bit that I was raised by my mother for about 9 years. i think that is someting to brag about!!!! that is a GREAT quality to have and i think you are soo awsome for doing it!!!!! *hugs* oops... sorry i do that once and a while... sorry ninja ninja

My boyfriend is genuine gentleman!!! When we first started dating, he would ASK to put his arm around my shoulder, ASK to be hugged, inquired about pretty much EVERYTHING I wanted.. (which I wouldn't let him spoil me razz ), practices "ladies first", has perfect table manners, does the chair and door thing... etc. I feel like I'm about to faint whenever I'm treated as such!
And then we go out and see couples swearing at each other, and talking about nasty things... It just makes me so thankful for chivalry! It aint dead yet!!! blaugh

I wouldn't mind it every now and then, but I'm a big girl.. I can take care of myself ((sorta)) sweatdrop Then again, don't listen to me, caus' I give bad advice and being diabetic I have many mood swings. Like, one minute I'd be all happy and seriously the next I'll be all ''my life sucks''. xp

yeah i guess that there are some women who dont like to be treated like that... i know many women who think i am stupid because i let guys open doors and help me in to cars etc. but that is ok... i know that i am special and deserve to be treated as such... then again... men are special and deserve to have a thank you or a hug to let them know that you are thankful for them! that is what i try to do even if they dont open doors and stuff.... but i am a very huggy person... i huge total... well not total strangers.... but people that i have only known for a little while... with their permission of course whee whee whee
