 Ryo-ohki placed a paw on the soft soil before her, the sunlight blazing down on her back giving her fur a sheen and fluffy look. She enjoyed basking in the sunlight, just as long as she had a good carrot to munch on while she rested. Flicking her ear it wafted a cool breeze towards her body, making the summer heat seem most pleasant then it normally would be. Rising herself from the ground, ohki turned her head to find another snack before realizing there weren't any around her. Leaping up in an almost panicked mode she quickly scanned the ground before her for any sign of green or orange before it suddenly struck her, all of the carrots were gone.
Wondering what to do next, for this had never happened to her before, Ryo-ohki rose the rest of the way and began to walk further into the field in search for any possible growing plants that may seem of a treat to replace her carrot, if only for a while. The cool wind flowed through her fur, brushing her whiskers to one side as she turned her head in an urgent scan upon her scenery. Her eyes suddenly landed on a larger object then she once intended to find, another Ulaya. A dark blue figure peering over a small hill was all she could see but it was just enough to peak her attention for if there were more Ulayas around shurley there must be more carrots, who could live without carrots after all? Bounding on each step, Ryo-ohki pranced her way towards the curiously different Ulaya with high hopes of getting a juicy crisp and greatly tasteful carrot treat.

 The day felt warm on her back as she worked, her darker fur pulling in the heat but still keeping it from reaching her skin. She liked to good warm days, they helped her garden grow stronger. However they also meant she needed to water it more then to cooler days, or less the plants would wilt. Wilted plants weren’t any good, and so she had gone to fetch water. The buckets she had fastened herself out of old bark and trigs had gotten old though and once full one of then had just fallen apart. With and exasperated sigh she did what she could with the remaining one.
Making sure things where ok she had wondered away from home in search of materials to build herself a new bucket or two. It hasn’t taken her long to find the supplies needed and she decided to stay out while she worked. It was a nice day and maybe if she was quiet enough she might get a glimpse of some of the wildlife that wondered the area. Might even find dinner if that happened. Half down the first bucket she stood, stretching and looked around, something catching her eye. Not that far off from her was what looked like a dark brown rabbit like creature. The thing was it was a giant, she’d never seem such a large rabbit. She blinked her silver blue eyes once and then again, but it was still there and it still looking like a giant rabbit to her. Further more it was coming her way. A rabbit that size would kept her feed a while, but could she take it?
As it neared her she noticed that it looked a lot like a Ulaya as well, which confused her a good deal. Tucking down slightly she got ready to pounce on the rabbit if and when it can close enough.

 Ever more excited, Ryo-ohki continued to bound her way towards the other Ulaya chanting a meow every time her front paws left the ground. Her ears wafting in the wind as she kept up her pace, ohki leaped into the air with a high jump and landed a few feet away from the other Ulaya. "Meow!" She stopped moving towards her and tilted her head with slight confusion, raising her ear sightly over her head as the end of it flopped to her side. "What are you doing, meow?" She tried to figure out what she might have on her mind, laying on the ground with an unknown posture. Ryo-ohki depended on all fruits and vegetables, mostly carrots.
In a playful manor, Ryo-ohki flopped down on the ground and mimicked her stance, her butt in the air with her fluffy tail wagging side to side. Wrinkling her nose with a smile she let out another meow and leaped straight up in the air, landing on her feet and shaking her body with excitement. "Meow this is fun!" She then began hopping up and down with the entertainment of thinking she was doing what the original Ulaya had intended to do.

She just stared at it, no words of response. She was confused by the other creature. It looking like a large rabbit, smelled almost Ulaya like and acted like it was half rabbit half cat. Slowly she stood and stepped a little closer to the other, but not to close with her bouncing around like that. Then she just watched a moment, taking a seat now. It wasn’t scared of her, it actually seemed happy to see her, meaning that either it was in fact fearless of an animal that would happily ear rabbits, or it was sure that it was to big to be hurt. Thought Atl had to admit this was the first time she had encountered a talking rabbit. “ Um… w…what are you d…doing? ”

"Doing?" Ryo-ohki stopped hopping in the air and flopped her butt on the ground, her ears wafting up from the release of air beneath them. Cocking her head to the side she twitched her whiskers and looked up with thought. "Why I'm hopping of course, Meow!" Leaping up again she landed on her stomach and rolled over onto her back, flicking her paw in the air as if she was batting at something. Letting out a giggle followed by another meow she pulled her arm in and lifted her head upwards so she could see the Ulaya sitting next to her. Looking at her for a short while she suddenly remembered what she was really doing and let out a loud meow of instant thought and rolled back over to her belly before sitting back up. "Oh, I'm looking for some carrots, Meow!"
Following her words she stood up and walked over to the utterly confused and amused purple Ulaya, lowering her face to the ground. She began sniffing around the area and then up Atl's arm before leaping back and letting a large friendly smile come over her face. "Meoow! You smell like carrots!" All excited now she began wagging her bobbed tail once again and lowered her chest to the ground, her fluffy tail and rump still in the air. "Carrots!"

It was her turn to tilt her head to the side a little as she stared at the rabbit cat thing. However watching her caused a small smile to form on her face as the female got all exited about the smell of her garden on Atl. ‘ She’s actually kind of cute, though a very strange little… large rabbit. ’ Atl had never seen a Ulaya that didn’t look like herself, so the fact that this creature might about be a Ulaya had yet to cross her mind. “ You like c-carrots? I have a s-small garden at home, I grow them there. If you w-w-want you can come with me and have some. ” The though of hunting the female for her dinner hand left her mind completely at this point. She actually felt kind of bad about it now. Standing she collected the things she had for building her new bucket before looking at ohki and waiting to see what she wanted to do.

Ryo-ohki's ears perked up as she heard the other's offer and announcement that she indeed had carrots. "Really, meow?" Bounding back in the air she expressed her excitement quite well, chanting meows every once in a while. Finally stopping she leaned in and touched her nose to one of the makeshift baskets Atl was creating before her arrival. "What is this, meow?" Twitching her whiskers as she sniffed it, Ryo-ohki examined the cluster of twigs and wondered with great curiosity why she would make something like that. Raising a paw she tapped it with the tip of it and poked it about with an extended claw before pulling back into a normal sitting position and began scratching her large ear with her hind foot, shifting around for a counter balance against the weight on her head.

Stopping she looked at the other a small laugh leaving her as she watched the rabbit. “ T-That’s a bucket, f-f-for getting water to my garden or c-carrying carrots and veggie’s around. ” Turning from her once more she started walking, if the rabbit chose to follow so be it, if she chose not to then Atl wasn’t going to mind to much. Her home was only about a ten to fifteen minute walk from where Ryo-Ohki have found her. A small cave in a hill side with a circle of trees around it so it couldn’t be seen by anyone passing by.
Pushing through the ribbons of leaves that hung from the willows around her home. She loved the leaves of the willows, the way they looked and the cover the gave her. A narrow steam trickled down the hill her home was in and collected in a small pool before moving on. It was nice to have water so near to her home, not only for her but her garden as well. The garden itself had a few small bushes around it making it hard to tell it was there at all. “ H-Home sweet home. ”

Turning her head to watch the other Ulaya begin to walk off she paused for a moment and then leaped up with a loud meow and bounded over to her until she was walking alongside the darker Ulaya. She still kept her eyes on the stick basket thing, it was strange enough to keep her interest and she still wanted to know more. "Do you need help making that thing?" She had no idea at all how to make something that may contain water in such a way but she wanted to learn. If she helped tend the garden then Atl might offer a carrot or two to her, and this was something she really wanted more than anything.
Keeping her pace with the other Ulaya, Ryo-ohki stopped her hopping and began walking next to her, keeping her front legs straight and walking like a marching soldier, chanting a meow every time one hit the ground. He had a song playing in her head and bobbed her head side to side with the beat before finally some of the words escaped her mouth. "Knock on the sleeping door. Leap out of bed, hurry! Let's go to candy land on a ship." Getting excited in the moment she began slightly dancing to it as well, limbering her body and not minding that she was singing aloud. "Ah, full of dreams. Mint pies and apple pies. Good cake, good spirits. Yippie, yippie, cookies!" She finished with another meow and giggled to herself, singing the resting her mind.

Atl hadn’t a chance to answer the rabbits question when she had to force herself not to laugh at the way the female had started walking. She smiled a little and turned to look at Ryo-ohki, listening to her sing. It really was cute. Reaching her home she dropped the stuff for making the buckets and turned to the rabbit. “ You’re more then welcome to help me if you wish. ” Turning she stepped into the cave she vanished from sight for a few moment, a thump coming from the darkness as she knocked something over. Coming back into view she carried a bucket that was complete and unbroken, small green shoots sticking out of it. Setting it down the carrots inside could be seen. “ Help yourself. ”

"Meow meow!!" Ryo-ohki's eyes got wide with excitement as the carrots became apparently abundant. Wagging her bobbed tail with a hyper manor she grinned and jumped down to eye level with the bucket. Laying on her belly she eyed the carrots and raised her ears into the air. "Carrots!" She yelled as she continued to look at the bucket, as if she had to hear herself say it to make them real. "Really? Can I really have one? For real, meow??" Standing back up she paced around the bucket and wrapped Atl into a large hug, well as good a one she could do with her ears flopping in her way. Continuing to wag her tail she went back to the bucket and pulled out a carrot with long, fresh greens sticking out of the end and took a great bite from it. Chewing the orange vegetable she moaned a few meows with a hum of happiness and took another bite, squeezing the carrot tightly with her paw.

The female Ulaya was taken aback by the rabbits reaction to getting a carrots. Then again Atl though, 'She is a rabbit.' She was glad that she had made the female happy, it was rare that she please others. She hadn’t noticed the pale blush on her cheeks after being hugged, till now at least and she forced it away quickly. “ I have plenty so you can help yourself to the bucket. ” Grabbing the supplies she had brought home with her she went back to work on the new water bucket. “ I hope you don’t mind me asking, but how does a rabbit get to your size? ”

Finishing off her carrot, Ryo-ohki immediately reached into the bucket and pulled out another one. Taking a nibble from the end of it she looked up at Atl who was back to attending her bucket. "Hmm I don't know, I think I was born this way." She looked up as she pondered the question and then took another bite. Sitting down on her bum she she stuck the carrot in her mouth so she could finish it off and looked back over to the Ulaya, the greens sticking out of her maw. "Yeah, I've never seen a smaller cabbit than myself, meow" Nibbling the rest of the greens she reached in for another carrot and came out with 4, holding them in her arms she wagged her stubby tail and meowed before biting her next one.

This time Atl had to laugh lightly at the rabbit as she hoarded the carrots. It wasn’t like she minded though, her garden tended to produce more food then she could deal with herself anyway. Taking a moment to think about the others words she realized that she had referred to herself as a cabbit. Atl figured this as a mistake, she’d never heard of a cabbit before. Setting for her work she grabbed a carrot of her own and took a bite of it before looking at Ryo-ohki. “ You mean rabbit, right? ”

Chewing her pleasurable carrot she swallowed and looked up at the dark Ulaya who had also started to eat one herself. "Oh no, meow. I'm a cabbit!" She finished with a nod and took another bite from her carrot, making sure all of the greens were completely eaten for they were the best part of the carrot after all. "I'm a cat rabbit." She decided to actually explain what a cabbit was for the fact that she hadn't ever met another like herself and didn't know if she was the only one or not. Wagging her tail some more she searched the area around her for a possible drink of water, raising an ear with the curiosity of the search.
