For those of you who own a PS3: GET THIS GAME! One of the funnest things to do with this game is go online with it. So buy it, friend me, and let's crash some cars.
P:TOM gave it 5/5. It's at 88% on Gamerankings.com. Just... just get it, ok?

I would, but I'm poor and need mah monies to buy SSBB when it finally comes out in March. (Which it better come out on) I also need money for The Orange Box, and then if nothing else comes out I'll buy it. Although the demo was freaking awesome.

But you know what really sucks? They're going to kill one of their few great franchises.

Are you upset about NFS?

And if they're going to keep creating sequels how far can they really take it until everyone realizes they've turned it into a Madden-esque franchise?

They can bring Traffic Checking back, for one thing. Rip-In-Half cars for another.

Well, that article also talked about them "extending" Paradise, so we'll probably mostly see downloadable expansions and updates for a while. But I feel your pain, Nter. Look at what they did with SSX. They peaked (no pun intended) with SSX 3, then released the bizarre and completely non-SSX-like "On Tour", and then decided that only stupid kids wanted to play the SSX series and crapped "Blur" out on the Wii. I don't see this happening to Burnout, but I understand your concern.

I just wish they'd stop with the re-hashes and try to do something original once in a while (Dead Space is a start) between sequels. Hopefully they won't butcher Mass Effect.

I don't see the problems with Blur or On Tour, save the Character changes.

I didn't have a problem with On Tour. It was fun and had an AWESOME soundtrack, but... it just didn't feel like an SSX game to me. The characters were barely there. I feel like SSX has always been about the characters.
