Jeff Hardy recently appeared on Between the Ropes radio show and gave his own opinion on the Edge-Lita-Matt Hardy situation.

Jeff said that although his brother likely knew he was always going back to WWE, it was wrong to waste TNA's time and string them along. Numerous TNA officials are understandably unhappy considering they spent time with Hardy and planned out potential angles for his planned debut.

Jeff Hardy also says he couldn't defend Matt's behavior in the last several months and was upset at his brothers comments on Byte This! that he was closer with Lita and Jeff.

Hardy also said he didn't want to get involved in the situation, but was literally forced by his brother to leave nasty voicemails on Edge and Lita's phone.

Jeff also noted that he considered quitting the business after his performance against Abyss at Against All Odds where he botched the big table spot at the end.

Matt Hardy = WWE Sell-out
Jeff Hardy = Honest TNA wrestler
PostPosted: Wed Aug 24, 2005 12:21 pm

Matt Hardy = Attenntion Whore WWE wrestler. No one has been able to give a valid reason other than the fact that he chose WWE over TNA as to why he is a sellout.

Jeff Hardy = Would still be working in the WWE is he passed his drug test and showed up to shows on time and even attended some of them at all.

Actually, it's because he's doing this whole "You slept with my girlfriend" angle that he's a sell-out. I wouldn't mind if he was involved in, say, a ladder match tournament or something, but this way of getting back in the WWE is absolutely villanious. I might cheer for him if actually displays some integrity, instead of doing whatever he can to get in the spotlight.

Here's a list of people who have never once betrayed their integrity in the WWE (it's a short list):

Chris Benoit
Ric Flair

Just curious. Wouldn't you be a "whore" if you made THAT MUCH MONEY? Matt Hardy isn't a whore... he's business savvy. Jeff makes like 45% of what Matt Makes right now and I'm sure that's why he's so bitter. He screwed himself up by not staying sober and not being responsible.

And yet, us true wrestling fans will cheer for Jeff, not Matt- those of us who know the real story. I can forgive drug use, I can forgive drunkeness, but I can never forgive immorality such as Matt Hardy is doing. He's chosen to get paid rather than to stay true to himself, and that's the worst part of all of this. In the end, Jeff Hardy will profit more because he's been honest with himself- even if he didn't know he was being honest with.

True wrestling fan blah. sorry I know how people work. They are in this for the money not the love of the fans. I don't care who it is. They get paid FAR too much to actually care about who does what for them unless they are getting paid. If my knowledge of how people works makes me something other than a "true wrestling fan" then maybe I shouldn't be a mod in this guild because I don't get the true fans. rolleyes

Matt Hardy can whore out if he wants to.. HE still brings in money and I don't think he's losing sleep over the fact that you "a TRUE wrestling fan" boo him.

I can not forgive drug use. Unline a "true wrestling fan" I think that rules are set in the WWE and in any other workplace to keep others safe. Should Jeff have been stoned during a match and something bad had happened..... the "true wrestling fans" wouldn't be crying shame on Matt... they would be blaming Vince for letting people do drugs on his shows.

Sorry... I'm trying to be nice about this. I think Jeff Hardy is a fantastic wrestler, but honestly.... wrestling and drugs shouldn't mix. There have been many injuries that occurred due to lack of good judgement. Drugs impair judgement and that's a good way to hurt someone. I don't think Jeff has any right to complain that Matt is now a sell out. That sounds like a bitterness that has nothing to do with Matt. I think that Jeff (rumored to be on his way out of TNA) wants a place back in the favor of his WWE fans, but Vince is slackassing about talking with Jeff. I can't blame Vince for that. He's had enough bad press over the steroids thing in the 80's. He doesn't need any more crap from substance abuse.

Lita and Matt were put together in the WWE to calm down the situation. I think the reason the WWE is having Matt do the angle is to try and make vince out to be a hero for bringing Matt back. So its more the WWE than Matt. Matt stated from the beginning that if he was offered the chance he would go straight back to the WWE no matter what they had. It is after all his dream to be a WWE Superstar. Jeff would go back in a heartbeat and you all know it.

Actually, the WWE offered AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels contracts earlier this year, and they both turned them down...I think they were after Abyss, too, but that didn't work.

AJ Styles jumped right on with WWE, however after the WWE figured bringing AJ Styles into the WWE would defame Hogan or some bullshit like that the dropped him. C.D is the same deal. Last I checked Abyss and WWE are still in Negotiations. Same with Primetime. WWE has also reccently contacted Jeff Hardy. (I think they wana throw him and Matt in together since Edge has Snitsky on his side plus think of the money. Jeff and Matt both return. Jeff to help avenge his brother for the betrayle of a good friend and the third member of Team Xtreme.

Well, IF it's true that Matt Hardy sold out for the money, it's not like he's the only one to screw over an entire wrestling federation for cash *COUGH!*Mike*COUGH!*Awesome*COUGH!*
