Pryderi wasn't entirely sure what he was hoping to accomplish by coming here. Usually, he sent Maelon out to go and do his errands, and on occasion, to go to the HQ in the hopes of getting him to be a little more people-friendly. The deer man himself hadn't been to the HQ since he dragged his charge there years go to a birthday party. After he stopped being able to contact Kunny, it seemed kind of useless to go there. He didn't know any of the parents anymore, and thus going there became even more of a challenge for him than it was for Mae.

But there was hope. Maelon had come back from the grocery store saying that he met Chaco, and that Chaco knew Kunny. Pryderi had tried not to sound too interested at the mention of the young man he remembered, but eventually curiousity had got the better of him. And now, here he was, sitting in the living room, hoping that by some miracle he would find someone who knew where Kunny was. Yup, it would definitely take a miracle.

Aylee had heard from Ryuu that there was a guest in the house, one the android had never seen before and who didn't seem like a Sin'aeis. SO she decided to check it out. After all, strange people were strange, and on occasion meant new children for Aylee! Er. Not that that was, uh, a good thing. Really. Chaco had enough to do without having more children. Uh. Coughcough.

Regardless of Chaco's lack of time these days, Aylee made her way up from her basement lab and into the first living room, where Ryuu had told her the stranger had went. She pulled open the door and stepped inside the room, only to lay eyes on that... deer kid. The one she'd tried to pick on about Kunny being an assassin and all. Y'know, make him afraid? Not that he'd ever fallen for it, and it didn't matter much; she had her kids to pick on as well. "Yo," she said, smiling, "What're you here for?" After all, she hadn't seen this guy in AGES, and somehow doubted Kunny had either.

Pryderi was just beginning to think this was a bad idea when the door opened in front of him. He nearly jumped, surprised to have been found so quickly. It was a good thing too. The deer young man was getting close to biting his nails. That was never easy to explain to Maelon. Maelon always got antsy when he started biting his nails, probably because it reminded him of the rather rough period in their relationship. Regardless, Aylee had arrived just in time.

The young man offered Aylee a small smile when she came in, fidgeting a little as per usual. He remembered her. Kunny's sister. She had said some strange things to him the past, but she hadn't tried to boot him out or anything. That was a good sign. "H-hi," Pryderi greeted her back, unable to help but stumble over the word. It had been so long since he'd had to talk to anyone. He was getting a little rusty. "Oh, you know... I just heard Kunny was back in the neighbourhood... thought I'd stop by..."

He was fidgeting. That was so adorable! It was just like Chaco trying to explain to new Sin'aeis owners just what their kids were. Or, y'know, talk about anything else, actually. Fidgetfidgetfidget.

...Uh. ANYWAY. Back in the neighborhood? Aylee hadn't known he'd ever left. Her brother just spent nearly all of his time working, and therefore wasn't home as often as she would like (though he seemed quite happy with the arrangement, after all he didn't have to put up with her kids when he was gone). Especially since Solo left.

Why HAD he left, anyway? Aylee hadn't done anything particularly mean to him that week, no costumes or anything. He'd just... decided to move out one day.

...

She was digressing. In her own mind, no less. Awesome.

"He's not home just at the moment, actually." He probably would be, later that day or over the next two, though. He'd been gone for almost two weeks now, and was due back from his latest job anytime. "I haven't seen you around lately. How long has it been?"

"Oh. I see." Pryderi tried not to sound too disappointed. It had been stupid of him to think that after not seeing Kunny for nearly three years that he could see him just by showing up at his house. Still, despite being incredibly silly, the young man had had just a silver of hope. Perhaps they weren't meant to meet up again.

"H-how long?" Pryderi repeated, shaken from his rather depressing thoughts by Aylee's question. How long had it been? "Three years... I think. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less." He gave a small, shaky shrug. "Maelon doesn't have too many friends who go here, so I stopped coming after he was old enough to go where he wanted. Regardless, it's been quite a while. How has um.... everything been?"
PostPosted: Sun Feb 10, 2008 8:53 pm

Three years WAS a long time. Especially for Aylee to remember a face. But then, this guy HAD been going going out with her brother, so that was probably why she remembered him. Kunny had just... stopped mentioning him, though, and Aylee never thought to bring him up because, well, she's forgetful. Duh.

"Fine! Well, Solo moved out, and Kon's bandmates moved in, which has caused a bit of noise, but fortunately Ryuu is around to help Chaco keep up with the cleaning. Luc's been out of the house more, and..." She honestly had no idea she was rambling, or that Pryderi probably didn't know 90% of the people she was listing. She lived in her own world, was that such a bad thing?

Out in the hall, the front door opened, and a rather... annoyed if not angry voice, "Ryuu, grab me a clean shirt and get me my sister. WHY did I listen to her? WHY? I have terrible luck. Really. WHAT was I thinking."

This caused Aylee to stop in her chatter and look at the door to the hall, "Speak of the devil, Kunny's home. BEE ARR BEE!" She flounced to the door, and entered the hallway, "Kuuunny! Guess who's here?!" Smilesmileglitterglitter.

Of course, it was clear from the look on his face that Kunny was in no mood for her ramblings. It probably didn't help that he was covered in blood, clothes ever so slightly torn. "Channa. WHY in gods name did I decide to listen to you and wear my only good white sweater? Of course, it would happen that the one time I have issues completing a job it would be THIS time." ... "WHAT are you going on about?"

Luckily for Aylee, Pryderi had a very good memory. He remembered the time he had spent with his boyfriend's sister very well. That still didn't stop him for wanting to talk to her though. It had been waaaay too long since he'd had any real human contact. Just hearing Aylee talk, even if it was about people he didn't know, felt very good. He really needed to get out more.

The young man sat quietly and listened to Aylee talk, nodding along with what she was saying. He remembered Solo and Ryuu he had heard about from Maelon, but as for the rest of them he had no idea who they were. That was okay. They were important people to Aylee, and so he didn't mind listening. Of course the moment the front door opened, Pryderi's ears perked, attention suddenly focused elsewhere. Who was it?

The sound of the voice made Pryderi freeze, heart thudding rather loudly in his chest. Well speak of the devil. Look who had decided to arrive. The young man wasn't sure if he should follow Aylee or wait here, torn between going to see Kunny and waiting to see Kunny's reaction to him. Idly he began chewing on his thumbnail, jittery as he waited to see what Kunny would do. Aylee had told him that someone was here. Would he even remember him?

It took Aylee a few moments to notice the blood, "...You bleeding?"

"Not much. Most of it was my target's. And again, Channa, what the blazes were you going on about? Who's here?" Kunny looked over at the stairs and Ryuu came down carrying a black sweater for the assassin, "Thanks."

"Just someone to see you," Aylee said, chewing gleefully on her bottom lips. "You'll be surprised. BUT. How bad are you hurt?"

"I SAID not that much. That means not bad. Just a few cuts here and there. My target and a whole load of traps set that my client neglected to tell me about. Fortunately none of them were poisoned." He took off his white sweater and handed it to Ryuu. "WHO is HERE, Channa."

Aylee tapped her foot on the floor impatiently. Why couldn't he just tell her the details THEN deal with the visitor? "In the living room," she said with a sigh, "See for yourself."

Kunny rolled his eyes and pulled the black sweater over his head. The dried blood on his hands and face flaked off, and the cuts he did have didn't show through the sweater because, well, BLACK yanno? He then reached over and pulled open the door and headed into the room his sister had just exited, only to stop a few short feet in. "...P-Pry."

Pryderi resisted the urge to get up and go take a look at Kunny, knowing very well that the moment Aylee said 'are you hurt' that there was blood. The young man had never had any problems with Kunny's profession. It didn't bother him or make him feel bad in the slightest. That being said, Pryderi still did get rather queasy at the sight of blood, and it would not be a good reunion if he spent most of it in the bathroom puking because he had seen Kunny covered in blood. Even the thought made him shudder. Blood was just really not his thing.

Thus, he was forced to wait, fidgeting and biting his fingernails until Kunny finally decided to come and look in the living room. The young man forced himself to stop chewing on his nail and look up, nervously meeting Kunny's eyes. His heart leapt when Aylee's brother said his name, unable to help the wide (albeit a bit shy) grin. "Hi," he murmured, feeling strangely giddy. Kunny remembered him! "I think I caught you at a bit of a bad time, huh?"
PostPosted: Sun Feb 10, 2008 9:28 pm

"I... ah..." Kunny said, his face bright red by the time Pry had finished his statement. The absolute last person he'd expected to see was Pryderi, and perhaps for good reason. Three years was a long time, and he too had thought he'd been forgotten. "Uh... I just... I..."

It was perhaps fortuitous that at this point Ryuu stepped in and proffered Kunny a wet cloth. "Huh? Oh... Thank you, Sasakura-san." He took the cloth and Ryuu stepped out with Aylee stepping into his place beside her brother. She was grinning rather childishly, obviously amused. Her attention span is remarkable.

Kunny decided to ignore her for the time being, and used the cloth to clean some of the dried blood off his face, "Er, no. It's just... Well, I wasn't expecting you. Uhm. What are you doing here? I-I mean, not that I'm not pleased or anything, it's just... Uhm. Unexpected."

He uhmed worse than Chaco, sometimes.

The blush was contagious, and Pryderi felt the colour rise to his cheeks as Kunny stuttered and stumbled over his words. Clearly he hadn't been expected here, however judging by the look on Kunny's face, he wasn't unwelcome. Just unexpected. He could deal with that. He was remembered and he wasn't being blown off. It was... better than good, not to mention extremely relieving.

"I just uh...." It seemed the ums were contagious as well. Pryderi flushed a darker shade of red, golden eyes dropping down to his lap where he was fiddling with a thread on his pants. "Mae ran into Ryuu at the grocery story, and he said that you were still....around here. And I just thought, you know.... maybe I should come and see you." The reason sounded totally lame and silly to Pryderi even as he said it, ears pressing flat against his head. Hopefully Kunny wouldn't laugh. He really had wanted to see him again, even after three years.
PostPosted: Sun Feb 10, 2008 9:44 pm

Goddamned contagious blush. Now with Pry blushing Kunny felt even MORE awkward, if that were possible. Why did most of their meeting go like this, anyway? They were both so bad at this.

But Pryderi's wants weren't unreciprocated. Kunny had also wanted to see the deer boy, but really hadn't known how to go about it. And he was usually on a job, which made things so much harder. And time had gone on, and before he'd known it a whole year had gone by since he's last seen Pry. And after that, well... It was just... awkward.

And yet it hadn't changed feelings. That was... good. "I... see. Uhm." Kunny had no idea what to say. I mean, where did you go from here?

Thank goodness for Aylee. "YOU ARE BOTH SO PATHETIC," she said, frowning, "How HARD is it to say hello to someone? And hold conversation? I can hold them for HOURS."

"Channa, SHUT UP. For Chrissakes, imagine if you and Rian hadn't seen each other for years. How would YOU react to him after all that time?"

"...That's a stupid question. I'd respond like I normally do. Why?"

Kunny shook his head. "Nevermind. Why do I bother." He finished wiping the blood off of himself, or at least the parts that were visible. "So, uhm. How have you been?" This question was directed at Pry, and fortunately Aylee was bright enough to not respond herself.

Agreed. They were both incredibly horrible at this whole conversation thing. Pryderi had told himself this morning that if he met Kunny he would try to be friendly and outgoing and not say um all that much. So far, he was having a very hard time keeping his promise. But it wasn't his fault! Really! Kunny started the blushing, which meant maybe he had wanted to see the young man too, which made Pryderi start blushing, and then the whole thing just went in a downward spiral from there. Poor shy guys. They really need a hand.

Pryderi looked up sharply when Aylee spoke, ears lifting up to listen to her. Pathetic? Yeah, that would about describe them right now. Three years and they were still blushing like they had just started their relationship. Honestly. The young man gave a weak, sheepish chuckle, reaching up to idly play with the ends of his antlers. They had grown bigger since the last time he'd seen Kunny, now branching off into several bits.

He continued to run his fingers over them as Kunny and his sister talked, a soft smile on his face. Pryderi couldn't help but like Aylee. She was... interesting, to say the least. But she was never unkind to him, and that meant a lot to the easily frightened buck. "Me? Alright. Lots of... stuff happened, but it's all okay now. How've you been? Busy, I guess..."
PostPosted: Sun Feb 10, 2008 10:08 pm

Kunny shrugged, "Yeah, kind of. I haven't been home very much, since work has been taking up most of my time." He did his best not to say uhm. UHM. Always with the uhm. He spoke normally every OTHER time, why not when he was around Pry? Damnit. "I'm really the only one around here with any income." He shot a glare at Aylee with this statement, then proceeded to ignore her again.

"You were actually lucky you came today, you know." If only his sister wouldn't spend so much money. And she kept adding more people to the household, using more electricity. At least Ryuu bartended as a side job to pay for the electricity he used. That was a blessing. "Has your family been alright?"

Well, while Kunny spoke normally to everyone but Pryderi, Pryderi didn't exactly speak to anyone. Thus, the stuttering and pauses where quite normal for the young man. They just got worse whenever he was speaking to Kunny.

The deer boy gave a small laugh when Kunny said he was the only one with income, knowing very well how that felt. Maelon had only just recently got a job at that reptile house, and though it helped, Pryderi was really the only one with a decent income. Maelon always spent the money on computer games of new things for his millipede. Urg. Pryderi couldn't believe he let that thing the house, let alone bought it. Just urg.

"Lucky?" The young man repeated, tilting his head. "This the first time you've been back in a while?" Pryderi nodded at the second question, starting to feel a little more at ease. He knew what they were talking about, which made life so much easier. "'s just me and Mae now. A lot quieter and more.... uh..." Oh no, the ums were back. "Lonely."
