Daiki yawned, mornings had never entirely been his thing it had to be said, he liked bed, bed was warm and comfortable, but both his family and his body clock told him thatt his was absoloutely no way for the warrior son of a noble to think, and had woken him up bright and early with the sun every morning for as long as he could remember... it was a royal pain as far as he was concerned, all he wanted to do was grab a lie-in. Not going to happen though, at least that was what his not entirely wide awake brain told him, and once he was this awake there just wasn't a hope in heck of him actually managing to get back to sleep again. He made an irritable noise and rolled out from under his lovely warm woolen cloak, come blanket and pushed imself to his feet and pulled a very sinple robe on over his head. The cloth snagged once or twice in the numerous piercings he had, but this didn't really seem to bother him, he had other things on his mind, like wash. He'd chosen this spot, this cave for a good reason, there was a nice fresh stream nearby, perfect to clean yourself in the morning. He'd felt a little bad for fleeing the goblin kingdm as suddenly as he had... but it was just too enclosed there for him, he didn't feel like he could breath properly when he was within man made stone walls... caves were fine, they had always been there, they were nature... but the castle.. it made his skin crawl just to think back to it... He'd stayed a while, but only as long as he felt he had to for manners sake before reushing off as night fell one evening, across the goblin city and back out through the Labyrinth. Once outside he'd moved away as quickly ashe could, heading back in at least the vague direction of his own lands... his beloved wood... He knew he had to go back to the goblin kingdom.. for he had tidings from his people, they were uneasy and wanted to tell the king to be aware... but Jareth was gone, and he had sensed it pointless to stay within the walls while the man he sought was absent... why make himself suffer like that.. and so for the past three nights this lovely cave had been his home.. With a contented sigh he untied and pushed aside his makeshift curtain of a door to look out in the misty dawn filled light...

Daichi, is had to be said, though he was as old as some of the areas of the lands of the labyrinth, was certainly not attuned to the nature of them as all. It was quite the opposite really, truth be told, and there was nothing the dragon liked quite so much as the feeling of the first rays of sunlight warming his scales so nicely.. He murred deeply, stirring slightly but refusing to wake up or move properly, his heavy tail flopping a few limes, lazily. It was just the right spot for his as well, he had followed his favourite person to his new home, one not in the walls of a kingdom that he had grown to know so well, a place outside it, and a pretty place it was too.. He had however been completely thwarted by the curtain for one reason or another, the that elf had strung across the entrance. He had nearly tangled himself in it last night, and by the time he had free'd himself he had not wanted to have another go at it, so he had curled up right in front of the cave. It was perfectly comfortable really.. Chilly, but bearable.

One final thing told Daiki that this morning was not on his side...He'd woken up, sure, that was a good thing, but he'd definately not been able to get back to sleep, the knots in his curtain were pulled abnormally tight as well, so it took him longer than he was expecting to actually be able to get out of the cave.. and the third thing.. the final straw on his amels back of not-a-good-morning was as soon as he had taken one step out of the mouth of the cave his foot caught on somthing, somthing warmer than he was expecting to find with his foot, but somthing as equally un-movable as any rock he'd ever encountered, and sure enough, a second later he felt his balance slip.. and yep.. there it was, that falling sensation seconds before he landed on the oddly warm somthing with a slightly pained.. "Oomph..." Yep... this was definately not his damn day...

Well that was one way of forcing a dragon into some form of awareness.. As the foot had connected with his tail, Daichi had grunted a little and rolled ever so slightly onto his back, opening an eye to find something very green indeed hurtling towards him at an impressive rate as gravity worked it's magic upon him. "Ah.." was all he managed as a softer elf made contact with his sometimes obnoxiously firm body. It wasn't hard at least, he had thought, as he brought his arms up to tuck around his favourite emerald alva as the wind was partially knocked from his draconian lungs, "Well, this is quite the charming wake up call, my precious one!" He wheezed gently to him, his tail curling in a very serpentine fashion over the alva's legs. He was fairly warm at least, it must have been an interesting sensation.

Daiki had been in the process of trying to get his own slightly winded form back on its feet again when he felt the arms curl around him, for a moment, especially as his legs were partially restrained there had been a shock of panic through him as he was convinced somthing unknown had caught him, then, at the familiar voice he had simply collapsed again.. "Oh God you useless dragon.." he'd muttered, "You scared me half to death.. what the heck are you doing sleeping outside my Cave..?" He shifted slightly, just his head and shoulders to look up at Daichi, a small smile on his lips that totally belied the irritable tone of voice he had used. It was obvious he wasn't actually at all dissappointed at finding his captor was his draconian friend.. "What are you doing here in general..?" He asked, fisgeting a little so that he was able to turn a little more and see Daichi more clearly.. "I though you were still back at the castle..?" It was nice to see Daichi, though it was weird finding what he'd expected to be the cold damp floor to be pleasntly warm.. and though still hard enough to wind him slightly, not as uncomfortable as a rock would have been to land one. "You're mad if you followed me out here for the hell of it..."

The earth dragon whined ever so slightly, his various limbs curling ever more tightly around his most favourite person, "But, Emerald, dearest.. You purposefully installed an anti-dragon device across your cave! And as much as I fought with it I just could not gain entry! I think I'm the one who should be asking the questions here!" He dipped his head to press his face firmly, in a very familiar, feline fashion against Daiki's. "Do you really dislike me that much, my dearest, most beloved treasure..?" He asked again in the faint whine, his eyes good humored however. The night outside hadn't harmed him in the slightest. He was just a little chilly was all, and the elf was doing a very good job at being a living blanket for him. "Besides, why else do I usually follow you..? You are one to be guarded, Daiki! Of course I couldn't let you get out of my sight! I couldn't not spend all night tracking you, meticulously, for no.. Really really good reason.." He turned slightly hopeful eyes on the alva, hoping he wouldn't tell him to get lost.. Even if he didn't, he wasn't going to let go anyway. Not without being offered something tasty for his breakfast, first!

Daiki just chuckled at the whingy little noises eminating from his rather large friend.. "Oh you.. he stated, snuggling his face back against Daishi;s.. you're just a big old soppy thing really aren't you.." his voice was affectionate as he spoke to the dragon, at the comment about his curtain however he couldnt help but laugh.. "And anti-dragon device you say..?" he stated, the amusement as clear on his face as it was in his voice, "Daichi.. its a curtain with ties on the side.. all you had to do was reach through and tug them undone!" he chuckled at the silly creature he was laying on and nosed his face once again.. "Oh you are silly.." He was trying very hard not to let the terms on endearment that were flowing out his friends mouth fluster him too badly.. his precious.. his beloved treasure.. all of this.. it was hard to know exactly how to take it,, Dachi spoke with such flowered words he supposed it was easiest to simply take it was one of the dragons essentricities.. that was definately the least confusing path to take.. it would be foolish after all to find yourself attatched to somone who was less than likely to think you a suitble mate for him.. Daiki might not have met a dragon before.. but he knew somthing of them.. how long they lived and how loyal they were.. no dragon would be fool enough to chance his happiness forever on one who could easilly break his heart... "I think your reasons pass.." he stated, leaning up slightly to give the dragon a very soft nuzzle, and the smallest kiss imaginable on the cheek.. "And now.. if you'll kindly let me go, you bear of a beast you.. I'll go and have my wash at the stream, and then see about feeding us.. as no doubt you're hungery, you bottomless pit.." Again the fond smile was there on his lips...

Daichi continued to look amused, keeping the whine to his voice, "But Daiki.. You knew I was coming after you.. And you knew it would be dark by the time I got here! And you did those knots up so very tight, my pretty emerald.. How could I have possibly found my way inside to you..?" He purred against the top of one of the alva's ears as he kept his limbs wrapped firmly around him. "Of course my reasons pass, I only speak the truth to you, anyway! And I'm also truthfully say8ing that.." He paused, considering with great deliberation how to reply to being called a great beastie.. "Well, if we're going to start insulting each other, my treasure.. I'll have to level the field.. By.. This.." He nibbled his way across the tip of one of the elves ears, teasing him quite happily as he chuckled, at long last relinquishing his grip around the warriors torso. "But you realise I simply can't leave you alone until I've been fed, you know.." He purred across to him as he rolled onto his belly.

Daiki smiled very dotingly at the rather silly dragon, "I didn't tie the knots tightly Daichi, they were bows, you're just too silly to look for the properly, admit it..." it was obvious however that he was being indulgent rather than actually angery. The nibble on his ear however made the elf shudder slightly, the sensation anything but unpleasnt, but not really entirely welcome just at this moment in time. "I.." he stated, trying to speak through the slightly offputting nibbles, "I was't insulting you.. you.. are.. you're big... and a beastie..." he pulled himself away as soon as the hold was loosened however and rolled himself up to his feet.. "I did rather have the idea.." Daiki stated, "That was going to find myself more than a little stuck with your companny.." he smiled, "I'll have a wash, then i'll see if I've managed to catch anything tastey over night, if not, we'll just have to try fishing.. Now.. I'm going down to the stream to wash, don't you dare even think of looking.."

The dragon continued his lazing, more than happily, the warm friendly tones still clinging to his voice, "Well, my dearest, Daiki.. You are only lying to yourself now, aren't you..?" He purred to him, teasing him gently still, his eyes shining happily for being back with this dear dear friend to him.. Was he just a friend though..? "Hmmm.." He nibbled the ear delicately for as long at the elf remained with him, "I'm going to have to remember this one, aren't I..? A sure way to sooth you, eh..? SOmthing like that.. You uh.. Shivered.. It wasn't bad for you, was it..?" He queried suddenly, worrying a little that that bit of affection was possibly not quite as welcome as he had first thought. "I think that I shall have to accompany you on your wash however! You never know who was watching! They may try and take advantage of this new-found.. Fondness with your ears, if that's what it is! And besides.. " He leant closer as he tucked his legs beneath him and rose up to his feet, quite elegantly for once in his very long life, "I'd never be able to forgive myself if I didn't look.." He purred once more.

Daiki fixed his green eyes on his drconic friend again and shook his head, "Daichi you're most definately a beastie.." he stated "The ears are fine, just sensitive, don't worry yourself about that one too greatly, but as for watching my while I bathe, well, I think thats just monstrous.." he flicked his hair over his shoulder as he stepped away from the dragon, making his way down to the stream that he knew was just behind a small patch of scrubby undergrowth.. "I can also safely asure you.." he stated, knowing full well Daichi would be following him, "That no one else outside of my own kind know about my ears, there is no reason for them to, you only found out because you're far mjore touchy feely with me than anyone has been in a long itme.." he looked back at the dragon and smile again, "You're probably going to have some issues though.." he murmued quietly, tugging the laced ties that held his robe like nightware closed, "You see, if you wnot forgive yorself for not looking.. and I wont forgive you if you do look.. either way, you're going to have to upset somone.." he smiled then and turned his back on the Dragon, letting the fobe drop away as he went into the water for his early morning, rather chillly bath.

Daichi all but grinned at the gentle not quite insults that he was being met with as, true to his nature, he followed after his friend, his long tail catching occasionally in the undergrowth. He could never be completely silent.. Unless he was hunting, but that was a completely different kettle of fish! "Well, I think we all know who it is that I'm going to have to upset, my dear Daiki.." He murred happily, settling himself on a suitably large and smooth rock down by the pleasantly cool stream, "And sadly a dragon has to cater to his needs every once in a while.." He tucked up one of his legs resting his elbow on his knee then plopped his chin down on his hand, tilting his head as he happily watched the ties of the alva's robe being undone at an almost teasing speed. "Mmm.." He mused as the robe finally fell away, his bronzed eyes roaming over the dark tattooed skin without hesitation as he descended into the water.. "I'm glad I looked.."

It was lucky that the Alva had very little in the was of modesty issues. His people didn't wear the most covering clothing, and when you were stalking through undergrowth the less you were the less there was to snag on thing, well, some things were necessary as certain kinds of snaggage would just have been unbearable. "I Knew you wouldn't resist.." he stated, moving into the deeper part of the stream, "I will have to punish you though, I'll ignore you Dragon, you hear that.." he looked over his shoulder at Daichi, "Your beloved emerald won't shine for you now.." he hooked his hair up out of the way so that he could crouch and wet his shoulder without soaking the long green curls through, he didn't need the hassle of drying that just now, Standing up a little once again he let his hair fall down, and once more turned his back to the dragon, hiding the small smile that followed the dragons comment of approval, he wasn't sure why it pleased him so much to know that his appearance was certainly appreciated, but it did, he was going to do everything in his power just now to make sure Daichi didn't know of that however. He stayed pointedly quiet as well, he was supposed to be ignoring him, not talking to him. It was easy at the moment as he was able to focus entirely on cleansing himself.

The dragon continued to grin, murring quite audibly at the alva, his tail flopping slowly in quite a delighted manner. "Punish me, my beloved treasure..?" He queried gently, his tone of voice not changing at all as he kept his eyes fixed on the bared skin of Daiki's back and shoulders, "But Then I'll be lonely.. And if I get lonely I'll get sad.." He shifted as he watched the alva dip to let the water run over his shoulders. "And you know that if I get sad, like I am now, my precious one, I'll have to do something drastic.. Like.. Joining you and getting all damp and cold!" The water wasn't too bad, he knew that, it certainly wouldn't hinder him too badly as he got up, pointedly making as much noise as he could and stepped into the water.

At the sound of the Dragon splashing into the water Daiki couldn't help but turn , crouching down into the water as he did so with a noise of distress, "What are you doing!" The distress wasn't alone in his tone though, there was humour though and he didn't know whether to focus on keeping under the water or flap his hands at the fully clothed dragon. "You'll freeze you silly!" He stated, laughing at Daichi none the less, "And I have nothing to offer you to change into, you're far too large!" he laughed again, he was feeling in such good humour at the moment. He supposed as well that there was very little chance of him being about to stop the dragon soaking himself now, so instead of batting at him he instead held a hand out to his friend, "We can't really have you sad now can we.." he stated, his voice certainly warmer than the water they were in, "It wouldn't do at all.. and you have been so drastic and impressive as well.. I must admit you have quite changed my mind in favour of you once again.." he looked very amused as he wiggled his fingers, waiting to see if Daichi would take them.
