Not exactly too happy for the dub. I don't like Lulu's voice too much. Johnny Young Bosch. confused
You know...Ichigo from Bleach/Vash from Trigun.
And the person playing Suzaku is Sasuke from Naruto. I think the two should have been switched personally.
As for C.C., it's Sakura from Naruto. actually, this is a voice I can actually agree with slightly ninja

Well I looked at the voice actors myself.
Personally I know the person who is playing Lelouch best as the ESPer in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. So I think that is a good voice.
I was a little dissapointed when I found out it that Suzaka was being plaed by Sasuke and Alviss voice actor. He usually play the more conflicted characters so playing the moral center of the show makes me kind of nervous...

-face palms at dub hate-
Be happy. Despite the apprehension, the Code Geass dub has an all-star cast. Not only was it dubbed by ZRO Limit (the casters of the godly Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell: SAC dubs) but it was even reviewed a bit by Taniguchi himself. Have faith:
Quote: Johnny Yong Bosch as Lelouch Lamperouge Kate Higgins as C.C. Yuri Lowenthal as Suzaku Kurugi Amy Kincaid as Shirley Fenette Brian Beacock as Rivalz Cardemonde Crispin Freeman as Jeremiah Gottwald Deborah Sale Butler as Cecile Croomy Jamieson Price as Diethard Ried Julie Ann Taylor as Milly Ashford Karen Strassman as Kallen Stadtfeld Kim Mai Guest as Nina Einstein Kirk Thornton as Kaname Ohgi Liam O'Brien as Lloyd Asplund Mary Elizabeth McGlynn as Cornelia Li Britannia Megan Hollingshead as Villetta Nu Michael Lindsay as Shinichiro Tamaki Michelle Ruff as Euphemia La Britannia Rebecca Forstadt as Nunnally Lamperouge Steven Blum as Kyoshiro Todo Grant George as Sugiyama Keith Silverstein as Kewell Soresi Kim Mai Guest as Sayoko Shinozaki Michael McConnohie as Emperor of Britannia Peter Spellos as Bartley Asprius Roger C. Smith as Gilbert G.P. Guilford Sam Regal as Clovis La Britannia Travis Willingham as Andreas Darlton A lot of these VAs are big names and many of them are good at what they do. I'm wary of a few (such as Kate Higgins as C.C.) but you can't deny the spot on castings of a lot of the characters, such as the Emperor, Clovis, Cornelia, etc. Crispin Freeman as Orenji already makes the dub major win
About the Lelouch and Suzaku's voices, it's already been explained by many people. The Japanese VAs were originally thought to be doing the other person's role--Fukuyama for Suzaku and Sakurai for Lelouch. Why? Because Fukuyama was known for doing good guy voices (i.e. Albert from Gankutsuou and Kazuki from Busou Renkin) and Sakurai for darker characters (i.e. Kanda from D. Gray-Man and Cloud from Final Fantasy). However, to everyone's surprise, Taniguchi casted Fukuyama as Lelouch and Sakurai as Suzaku. Taniguchi wanted Lelouch to be the 'good guy who tries hard to be a bad guy' (Fukuyama) and Suzaku to be the 'bad guy who tries hard to be good' (Sakurai). It's the same thing with the English casting. Bosch (known for roles such as Vash the Stampede and Kiba from Wolf's Rain) is the good guy acting like the bad one and Lowenthal (Sasuke from Naruto and Haseo from .hack//GU) is the bad guy acting like the good one. Not saying that Suzaku is bad but he's not as innocent as he tried to act in Season 1.

I actually do like some voices, though... (Suzaku's is the same voice actor as the main character from the Rave Masters dub, right? I think that's good...) ...And C.C's voice actress is...Sakura from the Naruto dub, correct? Since voice actors and actresses are versitile, I can picture that one working well. And it's pretty cool that the voice actress for Karen is also named Karen whee

That...actually makes a lot of sense CC. I personally just don't like Johnny Yong Bosch much, because of his overly same voice. Sure, it fits with some people, but that accent of his kills it @_@
And really, I'm just gonna watch the dub to hear him say "Nunnally" xD I swear, they could probably put the bloopers on teh DVD and have him say it like 50 times xD

Not only a Power Ranger, the Black Power Ranger xDDDD
Which is why I also support Bosch somewhat--Lelouch finally gets to live his childhood dream.
I actually wanted Michelle Ruff to do CC's voice; she has the range and can do the velvety voice of CC's really well (i.e. Velvet from Odin Sphere). I hope Kate Higgins can pull it off. Karen Strassman is a decent voice actor--I think she'll get Kallen's screams down very well. I should know; I've only experienced her voice inside video games (Gwendolyn from Odin Sphere and Aigis/Chidori for Persona 3)
