If there was one thing in the world that he prided himself on, it was that he could sing. His voice echoed loud and proud in to the world his head high and his heart put in to every song he let the world hear. he was in a new, unknown, at least to him, place today, some where on the savannah where few trees littered the horizon and there seemed to be only him and his voice to keep him company.
He had been feleing out the beat of this new world for some time now and both his tail and steps were becoming jaunty with the beat. He hummed quietly before his deep orange eyes went wide and he broke in to loud, melodic song. "Once I was lost, but now I am found, I was blind but now I see." he sang his wonderful dulcet tones echoeing accross the seemingly empty savannah.

There were so many things in life she loved to do. Hearing singers, tumbling, playing, exploring... But most of all...
She loved to run.
For no reason but for the rush she felt, Kweupe streaked across the savanna, her paws striking the ground in a beat that would be difficult to dance to, even for those that always danced and bragged about how light they were on their feet. Steel muscles flexed beneath her fur, her lean body stretched out as she ran.
But one couldn't run forever.
The dusty female slowed down to a stop and stood panting as she looked around her. The sound of someone singing reached her ears and she padded towards the sound.
The creature she came upon was a leopard, an orange one at that, who seemed to have a very good beat going. She stopped on a rise, sitting down to watch his saunter around as he sang to the heavens.

The young tabby male lid accross the dust his head held high as he hit a high note "Ohhhhhhhhh yeah!" he smiled striking a pose his dark eyes shimmering with the bright sun. He let a grin cross his features looking around though he did not see the sandy cheetah femme.
Licking his lips the orange male sat slowly and started to groom his face his soft velveteen paws cleaning his face, his tail never stopped moving to some random beat which rolled through his head. He felt a tad lonely thought he music of the world always kept him cheery.
Finishing cleaning his face he looked around for a place to lie in the shade his gaze finally falling upon the slender cheetah femme. He smiled and tilted his head curiously, he hadn't ever really seen a cheetah before and the question rolled through his mind of whats eh was but that was the last question he would ask. After all that just wasn't polite. "hello" he called in that forever cheery tone.

Kweupe giggled as he finished his song and waited for him to finally notice her. When he did so, she giggled again and down the rise and the towards him, thin legs moving much more slowly than they had before.
"That was an interesting song. Does it have a name?" she asked when she had gotten closer to him, smiling and tilting her head. Normally, a cheetah may not have so easily approached a leopard, especially a female to a male. But then, Kweupe wasn't exactly a normal cheetah.

Taking a breath the young leopard grinned in a silly manner his long tail swaying for a moment as he thought up an answer. "Good question, I'v never really thought about it." He chuckled and raised a curious brow. "The names Beau, Beau the travelling Bard at your service lady and your name if I may pry it from your lips?" He grinned, forever the charmer his deep dark eyes shimmering with the suns rays.

Kweupe giggled again and sat down, curling her tail around her front paws.
"My mother always told us that songs may not need titles, but it helps others to figure out what it is about," she commented and smiled a little flirtatiously when he introduced himself.
"A bard, you say? My, I've never met another bard before. I thought my little brother was a rarity," she added and bowed her head to him. "I am Kweupe, the restless acrobat."

Beau raised a curious brow, an acrobat? He knew faintly what an acrobat was and his next words reflected that thought "You must be a wonderful dancer then Kwepe and with a bard for a brother I bet you can keep really good time huh?" He beamed his bright, dark orange eyes dancing playfully as he approached her his paws tapping out a beat. "I won't dance don't ask me, I won't dance, dont' ask me, I won't dance madam with you."
He strolled beside her pressing his shoulder gently against hers. "When you dance you're charming and you're gentle, specialy when you do the continental, but these feelings are purely medal, for heaven rest us I am not asphestos, and thats why I won't dance, I won't dance, I won't dance, merce'bocoup." He grinned playfully, the song was far fromt he truth but it had a good beat to acctually dance to.

When Beau approached her singing and rubbed his shoulder against hers, Kweupe stood and slowly moved to the beat of his song. She was by no means as good a dancer as Chezaceza had been, but she was better than her brother. Her motions were more fluid, like the river over the stones at its bottom, her tail moving very snakelike. She ended the dance by spinning in a quick circle, her tail-tip covering her nose when she stilled and her eyes narrowed just a bit.
"You really enjoy singing, don't you?" she asked, though all in all it was a rhetorical question.

Beau grinned cheerfully standig spread eagled before the tan cheetahress. "Of course! Singing is food for the soul so I try to sing as much as I can." He winked and chuckled taking a few moon walk like steps backwards and bowing. "and you lady are certainly a fine dancer. Though I expected no less from you." He beamed and flickered his long tail happily.
"Perhaps you would like me to give you a song hmm? The song of Kwepe the acrobat?" He raised a brow a smile lifting his pale lips. he loved to create songs for others.

Kweupe laughed, her eyes closed in merriment.
"I can't disagree with you on that one, Beau. So many fond memories were shared with songs," she replied and did a little side-step. Her tail curled and flicked back and forth in a restless gesture that rarely ever stopped and she bowed her head a bit to him.
"I thank you for the compliment. And if you'd like to give me a song, I will try and sing it wherever I go," she added, looking up at him though her head was still bowed slightly.

Beau smiled serenely and settled down slowly so that his paws all sat next to each other. He closed his eyes for a long moment a low, ruble forming in his chest. He was searching for her tune and it didn't take long for him to open his eyes and sing a swift, springy little ditty.
"There was was a creature,
so agile and sweet,
and when she did move,
she was light on her feet,
though males would adore her,
and female deplore her,
she was ever so light on her feet.
If only this lady,
so fair, sweet and tender,
would dance with the rogues of the world.
For all and sundry,
to know whom she is,
For the lady is light on her paws."
He chuckled. "yes, I think thats your one wouldn't you say?"

Kweupe listened to him, first when he searched for just the right tune, then when he sang her song, bobbing her head as he did.
"I like it! Fits me to a T," she replied, nodding her head quickly. She smiled and tilted her head a bit to one side.
"Do you have a song for yourself? I would love to hear it if you do," she added and her ears flicked upwards. The distant sound of thunder echoed in her sharp ears. She'd have to leave soon, to find her brother. He needed her during storms, though she'd never tell him that she knew he was afraid of them.
She returned her attention to Beau once more and gave him a look of expecting.
"Hmm?"

Beau chuckled softly. "Yes I have a song, but it's not here, it's a long way from here. I can only sing the song of where I am, or whom I'm with other wise I would be stuck on the same song forever." He winked playfully and got to his paws.
"It's time for me to move on a new song is comeing and it's a callin my name" He grinned and winked, walking past the cheetahress. "Enjoy your song light on her feet, I'm sure we'll meet again." He smiled roguishly and padded off towards the storm with his tail in the air.
"Dripdripdrop, little april shower." His voice could be hearsd as he slipped off towards the rain clouds apparantly being called by it's tune.

Kweupe found this very amusing. She guess it made some sense, though it seemed rather silly that he could only sing the song of where he was. She remembered hearing many songs as a cub, and it never really mattered where they were. She'd just ask mama-Tumbui to tell a specific story or sing a specific song and more often than not the kind lioness would comply to the requests of child and adopted children.
"Farewell, Beau the Bard! I may be no seer, but I feel we shall meet again!" she called to him as he walked away towards the growing storm. She, herself, ran in the opposite direction, in search of her twin.
