do you have one or do you use your real name ever thought of using one
nothing i ever come up with sticks and my real full name is too long i want something short and cute and i dont like using my real name over the internet all the time because my parents google me from time to time lmao but by the time i'm grown and out of the home i wont care what my parents find when they google me so maybe by then i wont feel the need to have an alias or at least if i do i won't hide my real name
but yeah i've always wanted a cool nome de plume sad

Aside from dizzyjess, which I've been using since I was 12 so is more of a force of habit really, no.
I tried to think of one when I was writing a book a bit ago but they all sucked so hard that I gave up.
It would be nice to have one, my real name is boring for a start and also, I don't like the idea of anyone who's ever known me being able to tell what I've done.
Have any ideas for one?

Chanel Kimberley Bonita White-Ferrari, or Chanel Ferrari for short is my real name! My real name is pretty cool, but i'd probably sign any paintings with 'CF', or 'Caz'...

no, not really. i dont really ever plan to either i always had this 'thing' that if i was ever to produce/create something, by some odd occurrence someone i knew from early on in life would see my name and be like "oh hey i knew her in 5th grade" or something silly like that.
the chances of that ever happening are unlikely but one can dream c:

I have thought about using one for my Puff Buns since they are so different from my editorial work... but I dunno. Really big artists do it and all, I just feel silly.

Apparently since I signed a lot of Gaia stuff with my username that's stuck as my artist name, though that seems kinda stupid to me so I've started signing my actual name again

Dr. Valentine is a good pseudonym I think, but I haven't got a problem with my real name.
I tend to use my real name professionally and Dr. Valentine for silly stuff.

Professionally I use i heart joan as my name which is kind of odd... but I guess in Britain not that unusual - quite a few people (although mostly companies) are using sentences as their name. Mainly I wanted to look like a company when I started working, not just a single artist, because clients can sometimes be iffy about dealing with one freelancer. I guess it gives me a chance to expand my business, and eventually take on other people if I wanted to.
Mostly I just think that it's cute, though. And I've got publicity (and work) based on my name alone.
xx

Most of everything I draw gets signed with hoff. Mostly cause that's my Gaia nickname, my msn name, and my deviant art name.

KingRoach doesn't really relate to anything art-related. I'd sign my real name.
I use my real name on the net with people I trust, and I trust are lasting.
I currently sign art with a signature that, if read, reads Noah.
I am considering changing that to my full name, written in my mother tongue.

i use 'crazy spork i am' mostly because i've been using it for so long. what started off as a simple AIM sn turned into my presence online. nowadays with doing freelance and work for gaia that presence is starting to blend with my life outside of the internet. back when i was living in so.cal and doing contract work for a studio they actually started calling me sporkii. like i would arrive at their studio and the receptionist would actually buzz me in, 'yes, sporkii is here for the 1:00 meeting' and etc. that was pretty cool.
when i sign my work i normally just draw a bunny. i'll occasionally put that signature into some of the stuff i do around here for gaia. my drivers license has my bunny along with the rest of my signature :3
at gaia i mainly work alongside kirby, so our names gets used together pretty often.
