Ok people just wondering all you hear is Avatar the last airbender is a children's show. Well what do you people think. Are they making it a kid's show purposely or mature? What age range do you think? I am above the age of the required limit but people are harassing me so what do you think?

I'm eighteen, and I LOVE AtLA. But I do think it's a 14-16 age range show. Just because it is the sort of thing meant to appeal to that range of audience.

There is no real "age limit" to Avatar. I know of some 40 year olds that watch it and enjoy in-depth conversations about it and yet, at the same time, I know some 6 year olds that like it as well. The show is really just universal in it's appeal as it can be a family event or just a hobby for someone that just enjoys good television.

Well, demographically, its intended for 9-13. (I definatly saw that in an interview or something) but, theres no "limit" to how old you should be. I can say that I love blues clues. Obviously not meant for 15-year-olds, but I can love it. (thank you babysitting!)

WEll i think avatar can be enjoyed by mostly everyone....they have basically every character a different age so different people can enjoy. I think of Avatar like an action movie, every kind of person can learn to enjoy it [im NOT saying that avatar is an action movie]. Im 17 and i LOVE avatar and so does my 21 year old brother

Okay. This is myyyyy personal little philosophy on life, the universe, and everything. (Other than 42.)
What you like/what you can do doesn't pertain to what age you are. It REALLY doesn't.
You don't need to be 10 to appreciate a cartoon, nor do you have to be 30 to fully understand politics.
People who belittle cartoons because it's 'for kids' piss me off more than just a little. The driving difference between cartoons and 'real-life' shows is how they're presented. One is drawn, the other is filmed. The story in a cartoon can be JUST as deep and thoughtful as a 'real-life' show.
So, to answer your question, EVERYONE. If they like the show, they like the show. It doesn't matter how many trips around the sun they've taken on this dirt ball.
Mentioning 42, I saw this guy at the grocery store yesterday who I swear to god was cosplaying Arthur. It was so weird. If he was carrying a towel, I would have asked him if I could take a picture.

Well, that's stupid of me. I thought the question asked how old is Aang, since he's the avatar...and...you know...gaahh~
Anyway, the target audience I think is around 9 to 15. But as we all know, here we are, way above the 15 age line, and watching and enjoying the show.
