ive heard that the trumpets and flutes are really evil with eachother... is this true for you guys or not?
i know with me and my friend (pround flutes) we are tight with the trumpets. just wondering if its the same with you..

Well lets see... my friend trumpet player used to play the flute. And I, personally am starting to learn the flute razz .
*thinks about who's in the flute section* Yea, I guess we get along. I don't really talk to like half of them, but that's not too hard in a band of about 20 something... haha.

trumpets hate flutes and flutes hate trumpets. The flutes claim that they play too loud but the trumpets claim that the flutes dont play loud enough. So they fight (Im a clarinet and oboe play though)

and i always gettin yelled at by flutes sayin we play too loud...so we play louder....and for some reason they play softer.... confused

Well, I have some good trumpet friends, and I'm a flute. :] The two sections at my school don't really associate much, though. Aw well. I associate with all the sections.
Instrument-wise, I like the sound of both instruments.

In my school the trumpets are evil with everyone. Except for the select few they all have extreamly huge egos. Nothing against trumpets, I think it's just the ones at my school, I've met some pretty cool ones at other schools.

I play trumpet, and my sister's a flute...
Most of the people in my band are jealous of the flutes because they sound really good., but we don't dislike them. razz
Speaking of flute, I learned how to play five notes last night. It was fuuun, but I suck.

At my school we hate each other. The trumpets hate us because we have that stupid picc. Sorry but i hate the high pitched thing too....but we don't blare into other's ears....uh hummmm ... also we hate them because they get special treatment

flutes are really different from trumpets!! well flutes can play really high notes and the trumpets but it is really annoying!!! scream
