I just get to thinking, yeah we have flying mounts and kickass scenery and stuff, but I miss the old days. You know, when UBERS was the endgame. Around that time. Nobody cares about anybody anymore. The community was so full of life back then.

I started playing about 9 mos after the game was released but my highest character when TBC came out was lv 48, so I never got a chance to experience all that stuff.
It mighta been fun :3

I dont know.
Considering back in the day if you were doing endgame you were running crappy 5 man instances for crappy loot like warrior gear with spirit on it.

Pre-BC, to me, was WAY better than BC.

******** that pre BC with no resiliance, garbage for spell power and AP, not to mention you had to be a top raider to be a top pvper no ******** thanks.
not to mention honor had no clear set goal.
Rogues didnt have cloak fo shadows.
Locks without there FG or their other great spells.
from what Ive seen people who cry about how it was pre BC suck hard today.

REM Sleep not to mention honor had no clear set goal. Rogues didnt have cloak fo shadows. Locks without there FG or their other great spells. from what Ive seen people who cry about how it was pre BC suck hard today. you are a very angry person surprised i never had a character at max level pre tbc but i would probably prefer having to run scholo/strath/ubrs over and over again for casual end game than these dumb winged instances that all look the same inside, olol zombies and cows in space

I actually played on a private server for a little while where there was nothing above MC. There were about 80 people on the server, and I knew all of them pretty well. We'd run MC 2-3 times a week and otherwise we did 5-mans for gear and stuff. It was actually pretty fun, but after a big chunk of the players left for college it pretty much ended.

I miss UBRS. I remember thinking being able to do the 45min strat run was a real accomplishment and was thrilled to bits to getting invited every now and then to another guilds MC run.
Now every week it's Kara. smile Which is still good but there was more variety in the endgame stuff preBC. It was UBRS most of the time, with the occassional Scholo and Strat and the even more occassional ZG. It was fun.
Now, BC is also fun but... there's something wrong when you run into the Black Mountain and you can safely run down to BRD without seeing one horde. Noone runs them anymore. sad

I could Mutilate a lvl 60 hunter in all t3 down to nothing before kidney shot wore off. I two shot a demon warlock in all T2 with Ambush and Mutilate crits. All that time spent getting all that gear and you still cant survive. Besides how are running Scholo, Strat, MC, Naxx and all thoes other instances different then running Kara, TK, SSC and BT. Its all the same. And if your wondering why Slabs, Sethekk, MT and AC all look the same its because they all are in the same building. Same with Tempest keep.

Back when there weren't even enough 60s on any one server to form a raid group.

Lol. 2.0 PvPer. 2.0 ******** up PvP more than anyone could believe, because the brand new superawesome spells many got, were simply overpowered without BC gear.

I remember when there was no level 19 bg's. 20-30 bg's. Damn, the good old days.
Lolz, when my cousin used to play with his crazy all epic gear, he was crazy. Everyone knew everyone, unlike now when ppl just talk nonsense. Lolz I Bg'ed so much. Me = Old bg person who made Alli's get a hella lot of HK, everyone of defense. Slowly.. everyone is all scattered out, and priest/pally charge out to get flag. Everyone else just waits.... patiently. xD

I myself didn't enjoy lvl 60-pre TBC. Strat was a PITA, because whenever I wanted to do a Scarlet-side run, eeeeveryone wanted to do UD, & vice versa. Scholo is ******** evil, it took me like, 20 damn runs to get my hat, AND I didn't even win the wand when it dropped. Plus, the sweetass epic staff dropped once, & I lost it to some noob Feral druid. I only did LBRS & UBRS once (back to back, I was sooo tired...) & got lucky & got my robes then. Never did MC. ._.
