Where were they.....

Beauty was growing impatient, which wasn't exactly out of character for the young diva. But, all the same the feeling was steadily climbing and that wasn't a good thing because Miss Priss sure did have a maw on her when she was made to wait. On top of that the weather was beginning to change in the scope of her 'patience'. The wind was wafting through the trees and overhead the sky's usual brilliant blue was slowly but surely more grey tones were taking on the overhead scene.

Great.

It was going to rain.

It was going to rain and she was going to get her pretty coat all disgusting. Now she was even MORE irritated. The femme hadn't known where her two sisters had run off to, only that she had wanted to meet them here. But 'here' they were not. Briefly she contemplating just saying 'screw it' and finding some other way of occupying her time. Which meant running back to her den to escape on the onslaught of rain. But in the end the little pup decided to wait just a bit longer.

The others just had better hurry up soon.

It was of no importance nor any grievance to the navy youth what sort of sufferings her sister was enduring waiting there for her and their other sibling. Instead the pup made it a point to take her good ol' time just to agitate the youth who so often pinched her own nerves. Of course, Abital, as she was dubbed, did not hate her sibling and it was quite true that she tolerated every member of her family with the exception of her mother. However there were a few times when vengeance was ripe for the taking. Abital was not the jealous type, instead her vice leaned more toward...greed, but Beauty often asked for the torture with her pompous attitude.

What did it matter?

Pointing her muzzle upward the glint of the fading light reflected off an object hanging from her maw. The gray clouds above worried her not, instead the prospect of cooling rain sounded heavenly. Maybe then, in some odd way, her sins would be washed away in the primal baptism.

Just maybe.

But what was the object? On closer inspection it was revealed to be a simple key with intricate design lacing its handle. She prized the little ornament as though it were a precious stone or a lost treasure. It seemed illogical to her to leave it out of her care with the possibility one of her other siblings would get their grimy paws on her prize. That alone disgusted her.

Looking up from her padding her golden orbs locked on the silvery blue form of her sister and there they lingered. She looked annoyed.
Approaching from the side, Abital raised her head high as her step lengthened in a domineering fashion before she spoke in a calm tone.
"Been waiting long, sis? Where's Piper?"

Piper loped through the field on the hill, her ears pricked as she kept an eye on the darkening clouds forming above her. Her legs, banded with midnight blue, were picked up high in an almost gangly hackney gait. The skies rolled above her, bringing with them a growl from the Gods and the little femme stopped in mid-stride.

She hated thunder. Thunder meant rain. And she hated rain.

With a soft snarl of her own, she flattened her ears and took off at a dead gallop into the woods, heading back to the den. All she could hear was the sound of her paws pounding the winter-hard earth and her heart, racing in her chest and the soft pants escaping her maw. She dodged trees as the rain began to fall -- large, heavy drops that saturated the ground it touched and her fur.

Piper shivered, pausing just outside the open area. She could see her den and her sisters...but she could also see the rain pouring down. Her tail tucked, she shook the water from her coat and sat back on her haunches. When the rain didn't let up, she gave another growl and took off loping towards her siblings, her hackles bristled.

Nearing them, her lope slowed to a quick gait, head and tail raising as she met her equally dominant sisters. If they were ever to get in a fight, it would be a toss up on who would win.

She noted the disgusted look in Beauty's eyes. She hated to get wet, but not for water's sake. She only seemed to care about herself and how she looked, the little narcissist. And Abital, in her mouth a tiny key of silver, only wanted to hoarde objects intimate to herself -- anything of worth, perhaps? Pi wasn't sure. She glanced at Abital's treasure for only a moment before shaking her head in dismissal.

A smirk rose on her lips. "We should retreat into the den...or else the rain might mar your coat, princess." When, in reality, she was tired of the wet and just needed an escuse to escape it.

Beauty couldn't stand it! The clouds were darkening, the wind picking up, and a low rumbling could be heard off in the east somewhere. Oh this was going to be a big storm, perhaps she should have just stayed at home? But then the three siblings might be overheard by her idiot mother and brother.

Pity.

A low whine escaped her maw as she shifted from foreleg to foreleg. Finally she saw Abital walking up and scoffed at the shinzy thing she was carrying.

"Don't tell me you were distracted by something trivial again," she scowled before answering her sister's question. "Of course I have. You two are just so slow sometimes. Piper is..."

"here." she capped off when the other puppy had approached them both. "oh haha," she said at the faux pet name.

"Not a bed idea though," she said, "Come on."

When fully inside she shook her coat though no water had dropped on it nor was it even the slightest dirty. When she was finish she started on her forelegs, much like a cat would lick it's paws. When the mantra was finished she cleared her throat.

"I've called you here, because.......I want to get rid of mom."

Piper snorted, following her sisters into the den, thankful that Beauty was a princess for once. While said princess bathed herself, Pi gazed out into the rain, wondering briefly where her Gerda and Akiva were, though not really caring.

Her head spun to look into her sister's eyes when Beauty made her announcement and Piper couldn't help but let a startled growl rippled up her vocal chords.

"Get rid of her? As in...kill her?" Her voice lowered to a whisper, surprising even herself. Sure, Beauty was a b***h, but murder? And could they really manage to knock Gerda off and get off clean? She let out a huff and quickly gazed over at Abital.

Instead of replying back to Beauty's scoff remark about her precious key, Abital was distracted by the arrival of their third kin who sauntered up to them as soaked as they were. The rain felt refreshing on the pup's shoulders, despite how it matted her fur and made dirty what was once clean. Still, it was cleansing in and of itself and she appreciated its gentle caress.

Those gold eyes of hers looked back and forth between the sisters as they spoke, used to their snide comments. She was often the brunt of their attacks and in turn was also their tormenter when she got the chance, but when it came to other wolves she compared her sisters to them with high regard. The subject of their mother seemed only natural as they entered the den.

Abital refrained from shaking herself and instead lay flat on the cool dusty stone where her precious key could be watched between her paws. Lifting her head she listened to Beauty's proposal. A smirk slithered onto her narrow face.

"Get rid of mum, huh? I'm not opposed...but how do we go about doing any such thing?" she asked, glancing to Piper briefly, meeting her eyes before looking back to Beauty who started to conversation expecting her to have already thought this through.

Beauty let out a very indignant scoff of disbelief and disgust. "Kill her? of course not!"

EW just....ew!

In her mind the act of killing meant being dirty with blood and guts and....she visibly blanched at the mere thought of it all. Perhaps THEY could commit the horrid act and she could direct it, but to be an actual participant beyond that was just...she no longer wanted to think about it. Besides, there was no way she could actually get away with something like that no matter how pleasing the thought might be.

"No, I'm thinking of something else....we all know mother dearest isn't part of the pack," she said, settling and going into her usual coniving mode. "She has her family lands...let's just send her back there. The only reason she's saying is for the pompous Akiva anyway..."

Now that the fact that they wouldn't be killing Gerda was out in the open, Piper felt her lips rise into a smirk. She should've known better, to think Beauty would mar her perfect coat with the stain of their lowly mother's blood.

The blue-streaked femme knew Gerda wasn't a part of Gomorrah. Not actually. She'd had friends, family, in another place... And Tabansi, the sly devil, had lured her away, had his fun, and slid away with the prize of breeding with her.

Piper stood up and raised a paw to her chest. "Akiva goes too," she barked. "She treats him like the Gods themselves, so it's natural for him to go as well. He loves the attention...and perhaps his outbursts will get him a high place in the other pack." She could easily see her brother, a lithe supple adult, taking down an alpha just to rule. His ego was big enough to take down an army. He just needed the strength.

"I like it. She won't go back on her own though." Their dam was stubborn. "Should we find them and bring someone to fetch her? Surely she won't refuse them.."

The plan was just sounding better and better.

Abital's attention seemed to flit in and out as she listened to them while preoccupying herself with her shiny key. Her dark paw rested upon it before lifting up every so often to ensure it was still there despite the fact the female instinctively knew it had never moved. The fur of her neck was still up, not defensively, but it seemed too naturally rise with the twisting of her ears as she listened to her sisters words before those flashing gold eyes would join in on the conversation.

So they weren't going to kill dear old mom. Abital was indifferent to the fate of their mother as long as the insufferable cur was out of her fur and out of the picture. If that included sending her back to her original pack lands the dark female had no protest against it. And if Akiva, that goody goody prince was leaving as well then she'd be all the more pleased, sharing the same devious intentions as her scheming sisters.

Flopping a paw over the other she stared at them before finally speaking her own words, though short they were. "I have no protest. Sounds fun to me." Her tail gave a single wag, allowing dust to fly as it hit the floor.

But what to do? Certainly they needed a plan, and not just something they conjured in a few minutes. They needed to think this out, to find every fault and patch it up before they could even think of acting upon their response.

"We could get them...but would they even be prompted to come? If they haven't tried to fetch her already are they going to even try when we come barking?"

Beauty was pleased with herself. In her diluted little mind she liked to think she was the leader of this little trio. The one with all the ideas and the one that called all the shops. Dilusions aside this simply was not true. Piper seemed to be the brains and Abital seemed to be the right hand girl. That left Beauty dead last with the assumption that she really mattered. But that was perfectly fine.

What one didn't know couldn't hurt them.

"Yes Akiva too," She agreed with a small snarl. "I'm sick of him! Always manhandling me..." she grunted, remembering their last meeting. She was tired of her brother nipping her heels, quite literally, every time she didn't do anything right.

"We wouldn't know where to look," she frowned at the suggestion, "Or who to find to bring her back. Maybe.........we can just.......make her want to leave....."

Now that would be something managable.

Her sisters had a point. Even if they could find them...they didn't have names. They didn't know where they were, and they were probably far away.

And the trip would be a long one for a trio of puppies and Piper was man enough to admit that she was no match for something bigger. She had inflated pride, but she knew when to back down...usually.

Pi threw her head up. "Make her want to leave? What? Are we gonna argue with a mute wolf? She can't talk back," she sneered. "What could we do that would make her want to leave."

They were puppies. Sure, her puppies...but puppies. She let out a growl and lay down, curling her tail around her to think.

"Abi?" she murmured, gazing at her sister's key, knowing that would get the other femme's attention. "Any ideas?"

The navy colored pup did indeed notice the prodding eyes of her sister and she swiftly snapped her attention to Piper wearily watching the gaze. Her grip on the key intensified as though the very stare of her sibling threatened to steal her precious item away. This of course was ludicrous, but she was just the sort of ridiculous individual that would presume her sister was untrustworthy.

Her ears flicked, having heard the entire conversation, and contemplated quietly before she answered the stripped girl. "I doubt we could get her to leave. Nothing we could do, unless we kill someone, will ever get her to leave. She's a mother, I guess she's like that," Abital started before pausing to calculate her thoughts, "But we can get everyone else to drive her and Akiva away. Spread a few lies or frame them. Either way, if we can get the alphas to turn against them they'll be gone before they can say a word to defend themselves."

Her words wer done and her focus once more on her precious key. Nosing it, she took it into her jaw allowing it to rest there protected by fangs and always close. If she needed to talk she would simply talk around it. Her feet sprawled out comfortably over the hard floor while her attentive head lowered a tad to adjust itself into a more thoughtful, yet relaxed position.
