(( [PRP] = Private Role Play. Unless invited, please allow the girly boys to have their fun in peace. ^^; ))

For the fifth time that day, Malachite checked himself in the mirror, making sure that he looked alright. He'd decided to wear his baby-blue t-shirt and black and green skirt today, since it was a special ocassion. He'd paid extra special attention to the braid beside his face, wanting it to be perfect. Along its length were several purple and blue clip-on beads that felt cool against his skin.

He hadn't bothered wearing pants under his skirt today, revealing purple and black striped socks that reached his knees. Even though there was a "no shoes in the house" rule, he prefered running around in socks or bare feet, anyway.

He'd put on some rubber bracelets, but that was it as far as jewelry went. He also decided against wearing makeup... for now.

He bounced out of the bathroom and down the stairs, pulling back the curtains in the window next to the front door, waiting for his friend Aponi De'Lioncourt to arrive.

Aponi made his way slowly to Malachite's humble home, giving his mama a quick kiss before he made his way excitedly up the walkway and towards the door. The entire way he kept his head down, straightening his black suspenders, patting the wrinkles out of his sleevless schoolboy's top, and adjusting his black 'hotpants'. His knee-highs were as straight and even as he could get them, it looked as if he had even primped the pink bows on each one. And, ofcourse, his hotpink canvas shoes were tied and shined.

He reached the door, squishing sheepy for reassurance before raising his small fist and knocking three times on the door. He hadn't seen Malachite watching form the window, he was too busy primping himself before the playdate.

Before the boy's third knock could land on the wood of the door, Malachite had managed to tug it open, greating Aponi with a squeal. "Hi~" he said, smiling. "Did you have any trouble finding the place? Adrian doesn't give very good directions..."

The child took a step back at the sudden greeting, taking a moment before smiling and letting a small giggle escape his lips. "Hi!" He responded, hugging sheepy as he smiled. He heard malachite''s question through the girly squealing and answered. "Nope. Emo did a good job finding the place. Probably because I kept poiting out the window and telling her which way." His mother wasn''t very good with directions, and often, Aponi had to stare out the window and point out signs and such. He looked down at Malachite''s feet for whatever reason, then returned his eyes to the green haired boy. ''Those are some cute socks.'' He thought.

"Good!" the green-haired boy chirped, opening the door wider and trying not to shake in excitement. "Come in! Welcome to Kanth's mansion. Adrian, me, and my adopted siblings all sleep upstairs, but we get to use the rest of the house whenever we want, just as long as we don't get into anything or make a mess," he babbled, shifting from one foot to the other without really paying attention to the act. "Would you like something to eat? drink?"

Aponi looked about the large house, smiling, it was beautiful. Without really thinking, he leaned foreward and removed his rather tall shoes and sitting up, holding the shoes and his sheepy in his arms. "A drink would be nice." He said, rather shyly, as if asking for one was the rudest thing he could do. He smiled, stepping inside the house and looking around the room, eyes scanning intently every cranny and item. He then turned to Malachite, ready to follow him towards wherever the drinks were.

"You can leave your shoes by the door," Malachite said quickly, silently pleased that Aponi had already taken them off. When Aponi implied that he wanted a drink, Mal squeaked, "Okay!" and reached for the boy's hand, leading him off to the right and through the door to the kitchen. "What would you like? Water, soda, juice..." He immediately went to the refridgerator and tugged open the door, rummaging through the bottles, packages of fish, and boxes of leftover takeout. Adrian didn't do much of his own cooking...

The child dropped his boots neatly in a pile as he was tugged off by malachite, blushing at the hand to hand contact, but hey--they were friends! So, ofcourse, it wasn't weird. He nearly stumbled walking through the mansion-like house, he had never seen anything like it before...not even the mansion were he had ended up only weeks before.

He snapped to attention once Malachite started naming off items, smiling, "Juice sounds nice." He said, grinning, "I'll drink any kind." He released his new friends hand, waiting patiently for his drink. He looked about the kitchen, he felt so pleasantly at ease.

"Okay!" Malachite said, poking at the selection of juices. There were several bottles of Adrian's favorite ruby red grapefruit juice, so he figured his guardian wouldn't mind parting with a glassful of it. He picked out the already opened bottle and pushed the door closed, setting the bottle on the counter before grabbing a stool so that he could reach the cupboards with the glasses. "So, what would you like to do today?" he asked over his shoulder as he climbed down from the cupboards with a cup in hand, reaching for the bottle of juice. "We have movies, books... and you haven't seen my room, yet..."

Aponi watched his new friend scramlbe about to get him his juice, he almost felt bad, having a friend 'wait' on him, even if it was just for a minute. He listened intently. surveying teh house with his eyes, but quickly snapped back to attention when Malachite mentioned his room. He had never seen another person's room, only his own and Emo's, it sounded fun. A good way to get to know someone is to look at their room. "I'd like to see your room!" He almost squeaked, smiling brightly. "Mine is in the oriental style." He said, trying to pass the time a bit, "I have white walls with gold and dark red vines painted on them, and I have a matress on the floor and pillows as chairs for a little tea-set Emo bought me." He tapped his fingers along the counter, waiting patiently for a drink. "I even have a sliding wall, like in traditional tea ceremonies."

"Ooohh," Malachite said in wonder, listening to Aponi describe his room. "It sounds very pretty," he said once the boy had finished, handing him the glass of juice as he moved to put the bottle away. "Maybe I could come over sometime and see it?" he suggested shyly, ducking his head a bit and peering out at Aponi through his verdant bangs. "And you can take your juice upstairs with us, if you'd like, unless you really want to sit in the kitchen."

Aponi shook his head a vibrant, 'no' as for sitting in the kitchen, and raised his cup to his lips to enjoy the cold liquid. He swallowed, feeling very comofrtable around Malachite, and smiled, "I'd like that." He said, "You could come over to my house anytime you want." The child made a slight nod and looked past the kitchen into the next room. "Are we ready to go into your room, now?"

"Okay," Malachite said, perking up slightly and looking less shy, "maybe sometime soon." He put everything back into its place before nodding, reaching to take Aponi''s hand again and leading him out of the kitchen, back into the front hallway and up the staircase. He led him to the right hallway, towards the eastern side of the house. "This is where we have our bedrooms," he said, pushing open a door to the left. "And that''s our bathroom, if you ever need to know where it is. This," he said, stopping in front of the door across from the bathroom, "is my room!"

He let go of Aponi''s hand and turned the knob, pushing open the door to his room. It was fairly simple, for a child''s room. The floor was solid hardwood, but a round, cream colored rug covered most of it. The rug matched the color of the walls, and the two windows were covered by forest green drapes. His bed was pressed against one wall, with a dark oak headboard, covered in dark blue sheets. Besides the bed, the only other furniture was the oaken dresser, desk, and chair. There wasn''t much on the walls except for a few wooden shelves displaying Malachite''s stone and crystal collection, as well as a few gifts that others had given him. There were a few framed watercolor paintings of landscapes, but they probably had already been placed on the walls before the kiddlet had moved in.

Malachite wrinkled his nose a bit as he looked around his own room. "It''s not much, but I like it."

The child felt his cheeks grow a bit warmer when Malachite took his hand, but his shyness was dying down. He grinned in a friendly manner and followed the green-haired boy in front of him. he studies the walls as they went along, his eyes carried over the bathroom and other doors pointed out, and then, finally, Malachite's room.

He smiled at the dark green drapes, just like his eyes, he thought. He caught a special interest in the beautiful crystals on the desk, healing crystals, he guessed. He released Mal's hand, hugging sheepy to his chest, he loved the room. So simple, yet chic. "It's great!" Claimed Aponi, spinning slow circles around the room. He hoped he didn't seem nosy, but most of him hoped that there would be something fun in the room to spend their time on. And, by the looks of those crytals, he guessed there would be.

"Hey...are these healing crystals?" He asked, grinning in interest. "Like they use in natural medicine."

Malachite beamed with pride when it seemed that Aponi liked the room. "Thank you," he said cheerily, his feet shuffling across the rug as he padded over to the desk. "Eh, yeah, they are," he replied when the boy asked if the crystals he'd left there were for healing, "but I'm just learning how they work. I started collecting them because I thought they were pretty, but Adrian bought me a book about their healing properties."

Speaking of the devil guardian, Adrian poked his head into the room. "Hello," he said, giving Aponi a small wave and a smile, "don't let me interrupt, but I just wanted to let you know I'm around if you need anything. Or you can try bugging Hana or Kaleb; they're in charge when I'm gone or busy. I think you're in pretty good hands as it is." He grinned at Malachite.

Malachite looked shy, though he was smiling.
