WELCOME (Again, since Psiko is lazy, I will post something rather lame and hope he will write something better. heart ) You will find all of the guild information and such here in this thread. If you are new or just returning to the guild, I suggest that you read through at least the rules and trial section of the thread. Click one of the links below or scroll down. If you want to make a suggestion, please go to the Suggestion Box and post there. Only invitation and link exchange requests may be posted in this thread. No chatting.

RULES As always, there are some rules for everyone to follow. It shouldn't be too difficult... 1. Don't use 1337 speak. Not seriously, or too often anyway. You'll get shot. 2. Do not to advertise any other threads or guilds outside of the designated thread (Coming Soon, bitches). 3. Please notify a Crew member if you will be absent for a long period of time. 4. Bumping isn't necessary here. Don't do it. You'll look stupid, and will probably be shot. 5. Don't beg for gold/items/etc... There is a Charity forum for that. Go there. 6. Don't violate the Gaian ToS. If you received an invite, I'm sure you're smart enough not to. 7. Role-playing threads should now go into the "Role-Playing Room" sub-forum. As there is now a dedicated forum for these types of threads, the previous "RP: " thread prefix is no longer required. Rule-breakingRule breakers will be warned the first time, depending on the offense. The second time will result in a temporary ban from the guild. Third time you are permanently banned from the guild and put on the guild's s**t list. 3nodding InactivityIF YOU WILL BE ABSENT FOR MONTH OR MORE, PLEASE NOTIFY A CREW MEMBER IN THE GUILD! If a member is inactive for a whole month, they will receive a PM asking for them to return and post in the guild. If they do not respond within two weeks, they will be banned from the guild. They may later request to rejoin, at the discretion of the guild Crew.

TRIAL Tradition! And very useful, too. After some people joined IA and got their signatures, they would just leave! So Aerion decided to have a one week trial for all new members. Those who were sincerely interested (and interesting) stuck around and were given member status! If you do not pass the trial, you will be booted from the guild. Gooooood luuuuuuuck! INVITATIONS This guild is currently hidden, so it is up to members to recruit new people. Simply post the username(s) here and a Crew member will invite them to the guild. After they have been invited, your post will be deleted... so don't panic or complain. If they aren't in the guild after that, it's because they didn't accept. Do not accuse us of not inviting them. Alright? The worst that will happen is that they won't fit in. So, we'll shoot them and bury them in the backyard. heart

We cannot access gold that ends up in the guild account at this time (i.e.: your donation will be stuck in limbo until the Gaia site admins add a way to access guild accounts). HISTORY Insomniacs Anonymous was created for people who stayed up way past their bedtimes to meet and hang out. In the times when most of Gaia Online was dead, IA thrived. Although childish fighting dragged the guild apart, the members that remained grew close over the years... Insomniacs Anonymous was founded by Aerion in August of 2003. The guild, though it was only frequented by ten members, generated almost 100 pages a night. Later in 2003, a fight broke out between Aerion and several female members of the guild. This led several key members to defect along with the insulted females. In early 2004, Aerion became a full-fledged Mod on Gaia and all but stopped coming into the guild. Guild activity dropped dramatically. During the Spring of 2004, the guild reached 5000 pages and abruptly came to an almost dead stop. It should be noted it was one of the first guilds to break 5000 pages. Between the summer and winter of 2004, the number of frequenting members dropped yet again, and thus only a handful were left. Aerion founded (with encouragement from Psiko, Maku, & MegaManJuno) "Aerion's Army" with the new guild system before dissapearing almost completely. The few remaining frequent members migrate over to the new guild. During 2004, IA suffered a series of crashes and modifications in the Gaia forum system. All of IA's inactive pages were deleted, leaving the guild in ruins at a pitiful 100 pages. In the Spring of 2005, another round of crashes deleted the first post of the IA thread. All of the remaining posts now have been posted by current members. The exact dates of anything are no longer known. Since our thread has been ravaged so many times we just guesstimated. Thank you to Psiko for our little IA history lesson.
