 Out in the early evening enjoying the cool air brushing against his side and playing with his hair as he looked about with bright cyan eyes. Starry body looked like the night sky would soon, as the sun was rapidly setting.
"Soon it'll be dark..." He spoke smiling lightly as he spoke to himself. Long grass brushed against his lower legs as he leaned down to sniff some of the stalks of lavender that dotted the grassy meadow with pale purple colors, some flowers paler then others.
Alone and bored, though he wasn't lonely, he was thinking on the new member to his tepee home as well as his family and the Soquili he'd met since leaving his basket, though there weren't a lot of Soquili to think of really.

 As the day flitted toward night, a young unicorn mare trotted along wisping through tall grasses and foliage that scattered itself into an open plain. She was the star that had fallen to the Earth below as her moon lingered far away on some journey. She hoped to herself in a sweet smile he'd visit her again, but only fate could judge the outcome of a wish that deep.
So she danced as a dandelion puff flits upon the wind breathing in the scent of her awaiting lilies as they shined brightly within the approaching night. Letting loose a soft twill Cassi giggled in spite of herself feeling her horn glisten and shine bright as it flickered in the surrounding canopy above and around her. Gazing upward at the sky she noted the moon as it settled amongst the clouds. Such a lovely setting, the beautiful mare felt honored to be born of this time.
Noting her lilies she playfully swept her head toward them musing with a soft laughter, "Well hello again dear ones. Anything new happen while I was gone?" she asked the gorgeous flowers as if they were soquili like herself, "I'm sorry I've been gone for a while, I was having fun."
She mused over and over to the lilies as they listened and swayed, about her chance to catch falling stars as they glittered and shot toward the ground. But, just seeing them was enough to make Cassiopeia very happy.
She was the most luckiest star in the world.
Cassi hadn't seen Lyra right away as she talked with her flowers, but smiled brightly as he caught her attention. Nuzzling the white flowers with apology for departing she walked toward her brother with a lighted horn and bright eyes, "Lyra. Oh its wonderful to see you dear brother. How have you been?"
For an instant she lingered to gaze around for Gemini but knew he was probally off flying in the clouds somewhere having his own fun.

While his sister hadn't seen him upon her arrival he had indeed noticed her. He had just been looking about the field when he'd spotted an all too familure horn and body, along with her pale hair. His sister was quite unique and rather like the moon and stars, where he was simply like the stars which winked down upon the earth and those who wondered upon it.
Smiling as he watched his sister he dare not disturb her rather he watched in slight wonder as she nuzzled flowers and seemed to be...talking to them as if they had ears. His sister was quite the gentle one that much was obvious, it was also something he liked to think they shared in common.
Brightening as he was noticed he nodded his head in greeting to his sister. "As is it wonderful to see you again sister. I've missed you and Gemini so much, it's been lonely in my tepee though I've met a few other Soquili those encouinters were so short. Tell me how have you been? Meet any interesting Soquili?" He asked all too eager to learn what his sister had been up to since they'd last seen each other, some time ago.
"And Gemini...where is he? How's he doing?" Though he had a feeling his brother was off flying and riding the clouds, as well as the starry night.
"Ohh...a new Soquili did join me in my tepee though." He was almost sure his sister would tease him calling her his girlfriend or something, or at least ask about it, but that wasn't the case.

Cassiopeia thought of her wonderful star filled night almost feeling a bit of longing that it ended nearly as soon as it arrived. Stars so beautiful and bright had rained downward like glittering diamonds around her and Themis. She thought of him as a brother almost yet her heart fluttered when she thought of the lovely white winged that was bright as a full moon.
"Hmm well I did meet one colt I've called a friend since we were foals. Last night we watched the stars rain downward like pretty gems. I'll never forget such a beautiful night." she mused as her horn flickered light creating a soft glow upon her delicate features.
She mused looking upward at the sky, "As far as Gemini... I haven't seen him or mother and father. You're the first one I've seen in quite a while Lyra." she frowned with a wave of her tail swishing back and forth like a swirling cloud.
She looked over at her brother and smiled, "Someone new? Is it a girl by chance?" she giggled for an instant tempted to tease him but kept that jovial spirit to herself. Her laugh though light and airy reflected in the lighting of her horn showing amusement and happiness in a playful manner as a filly would have done.
"I've basically tended the lilies and looked for falling stars. You know me Lyra, I'm a kindred spirit that hears and loves all living things." she murmered with a small ring of a silver bell in her voice. It was great seeing him for family was indeed the greatest treasure that she held highly in her heart and mind.

"Have you got yourself a crush little sister?" He asked smiling as he asked this. His sister seemed to have a crush, how cute!!!
"Tell me about him sister?" He asked before nodding his head. "Sounds like you two had a romantic evening, I like watching the stars also and saw them last night on my own."
Sighing softly he kicked the ground with a right front hoof. "Nor have I seen anyone else till now from our family. I have missed you dearly sister, as have I missed everyone else in the family." He had wondered every day and every night how his siblings and parents were, where they were, what they were doing.
"Yes a female with wings so shimmery and clear there like stars and a horn as well like yours. She's a different colors and holds stars on her body but not as many as us. She's quite shy and soft spoken though." He said nodding his head. He knew his sister would likely tease him, or want to at least.
Moving to nuzzle his sister he smiled lightly. "Yes you have always loved everything and I can say I am of the same mind and heart as you in such way. Perhaps we should work togather to tend the lilies and watch the stars...perhaps I can met this Soquili that has gained your intrest as well my sister." He said grinning at her, he wouldn't like to see just who had gained his sisters attention, it was...him being curious.

Cassi's eyes flickered innocently back at her brother feeling sheepish she had been that infatuated with a friend. She smiled with a flicker of her horn's light still caught in a star swept dream it seemed.
"A crush? Ah no he's just a friend I've known as a foal Lyra," she beamed with a hint of redness to her cheeks, "But I will tell you about that night if you truly insist." She teased him with a wisp of her hair around her as it settled back into place as soft as feathers.
"Themis is like the moon sitting high within the sky. Bright as it is waxing that shines as bright as the glowing orbs themselves. Like Gemini he has big wings and loves to be out at night like I do," she mused as her tale spun happily accompanied by subtle flicks of her horn when she seemed most happy.
"That night we watched the stars fall one by one like mom always told me would if you were honored by the heavens. I still won't forget how beautiful it really was seeing them all rain down as lovely as my horn when it flickers," she beamed with a soft laugh.
Turning to Lyra she pushed away the tinted cheeks and gazed in wonder of this angel he had spoken about. "Clear and shimmery like the stars? Oh Lyra she sounds so beautiful... Bet you have a crush on her huh?" she teased with a playful wink.
She then turned her head toward the snowhite lilies that always listened to her, "Lyra. They'll listen if you talk to them. Like any living thing, the lilies love to hear stories like you and I. The stars will always be there, for the day they fade will be the day I will be saddened forever." she frowned for an instant then perked up to watch Lyra. "So... what shall we do now that that the stars have visited us once again?"
Turning to look upward at the moon she responded once more, "Someday I hope Themis and I can watch the stars again....along with you too Lyra".

Listening to his sister he smiled softly as she spoke her voice washing over him calming him as he was most happy with family and his sisters voice was so nice to his ears as she spoke of this stallion and the stars, the moon. All things that he quite liked, well save for the stallion whom he didn't know.
"Have you a crush my sister?" He asked, he couldn't help but be curious of his sisters life and what he had missed since last he had seen her. "And your friend...sounds quite impressive like the waxing mon is quite a lovely sight." He knew this for fact as he often stared up at the night sky and watched the moon and the stars as they moved across the dark blanket of sky above.
"I saw the stars as they fell that night, I cannot find a word to properly describe that evening but it was lovely. I am glad you saw it as well. I imagin our brother flew about the air that eve getting a closer view of the show." He said knowing his brother had likely done such, something he wished he could do but knew he could not do.
Shaking his head quickly to his sisters comment about Lady Requiem he smiled. "No, I haven't a crush on the Lady Requiem but I find her quite pleasent and soft spoken. If you would like...perhaps I can introduce you to her one evening, you would like her. She has a horn like you that shimmers so loveingly like a piece of the moon itself and wings that look like ice and frost, snow, spun and molded into wings most angelic and placed upon her back." He may not have a crush on her but he would admit to how lovely the female sharing his teepee was, he couldn't not notice how lovely she was.
Looking to the flowers he nodded lightly. "Then I shall talk to them, tell them of my day and night, speak with them of anything so catches my fancy and hope that they will tell you of what I've told them." He said nodding and smiled to his sister before tilting his head. "I haven't a clue as to what we can do now sister and I would very much like to see the stars with you and Themis, perhaps mother and father also and Gemini as well, I do so miss our family."

She mused with liquid eyes as the laughter in them radiated back at her brother. Cassi was such a gentle soul, it was as if the heaven's took a single star and set her a side to create happiness to all others around her. Her flowers, the lilies that loved her so swayed back and forth past the both of them as if they to were singing as the mare's heart did. "Oh it was so beautiful Lyra. So incredibly enchanting and so pretty as they danced and waltzed for Themis and I. We were just foals and yet I felt there was so much more resting in the air that night. Perhaps it was just me learning things as they should be. I hope someday even if its not my best friend, that we will share the stars once more."
Her voice was singing as the flowers swayed and deep inside Cassi felt as if she could dance. Not like Takoda mind you, for he was a true dancer fleet on foot and destined to step in time to his passion. "Your friend does sound like a painted illustration the way you tell her beauty in your words. Hmm Lyra I bet you still have a crush on her even if its simply a passing affection right?" she mused nudging him as her eyes shimmered by the flickering radiance of her horn.
"Far as Mom I haven't seen her, nor dad for that matter. Hmm Lyra do you think we should look for them perhaps? I know it kind of sounds childish but I really wonder where they've gone." She let her mind flicker as her horn went dark looking at him with concerned eyes. Even her lilies had seemed to pause as if they too felt her fear and sadness as they looked up at the both of them their blooms tilting into a tiny wilt as if they were sad.

Nodding to his sisters words he smiled. He really had missed being near his sister she was so soften spoken and of such a gentle nature. "The stars were indeed beautiful that eve. Perhaps we can star watching the sky together more often my dear sister." He spoke smiling to his sister. spending nights watching the stars and the sky together would be lovely, a nice way to bond with his sister.
"You do love this Themis don't you?" He asked lightly. He did hope his sister had or would find love, he loved his sister quite a bit so if she liked this stallion he hoped something good would come of it.
"She is more like a painted illusion painted in the colors of the winter, the stars and the moon. But I do not fancy her my sister. I think of her as something precious that should be protected. I'm like a knight of sorts." Lyra replied nodding his head and moved to nuzzle his sister lightly. "You must meet her one evening. I will bring her out and we can meet under the full moon, we shall make a night of it."
"I don't think it sounds childish in the least..." He said trailing off as he shook his head several times before sighing as he looked up at the night sky. "We should look for them...I miss mom and dad as well as Gemini...it's like..an incomplete family a piece of me feels like it's missing." His voice had dropped as he spoke to his sister.

Cassiopeia blushed in spite of herself for Themis was a childhood crush. She knew she may meet him once more and then again stars were fleeting energy and perhaps other things would conspire within her life. Cassi looked at opportunities like this and rarely held them with more then a smile. She knew full well when the time was right, her love would bloom like the flowers that grew so innocent and open towards the moonlight.
"Come now Lyra.... It was a childhood crush. I can't say love as fleeting as the stars are silly brother. Though I wouldn't mind someday watching those stars with him. such a night I shall never forget a dream brought to life." She was quite lyrical in her prose and words as she let her mind slip slowly back in time. Smiling her eyes flickered upward toward that radiant sky, "Someday..."
Her thoughts drifted back to Lyra and his talk of the vision he described much like a season that stayed and showed off its brilliance in hues of mystery and elegance. She herself believed in protecting things most dear starting first with her adoration for the lillies that brushed by her feet in a calm blowing breeze. They were her life besides her family, something to constantly keep a vigil over and see no harm was found. She paused with a soft breath before nodding to her brother, "Then I will wait with bated breath for nothing other then pure beauty has ever made my heart swoon with such intensity as your description has. I'm honored to meet one so fair and gentle as she." She nuzzled her brother back smiling as her horn flickered a faint yet pulsating response.
Her face fell shortly hearing her brother's discontent of lost family. Her heart was crying out in its own subtle tone as her horn dimmed slowly to simple faint bursts of light. "Then lets go on a journey and find where they have gone. The sky seems empty and lost without our family Lyra. Come lets go right now for the best way to find a fallen star is when the moon smiles upon it before the first rays of dawn emerge."

"A childhood crush can always become more. A star may be pale one night and bright later in it's life, just as love sister." He spoke gently his voice deep and soothing while he nodded his head gently. "Perhaps though if that star does not britghen another will make it's appearence in your visage and will brighten with love." He said smiling to his sister, he did hope so much for her to be happy and to find love.
"Someday no, somenight. Night is a more fitting time for." It was much nicer at night it was perhaps a bit chiller in the air at times but it was much lovlier when the sky was dark and all that brought light was the moon and stars with dotted the heaven embracing darkness of the night.
He too believed in protecting things that were something to be treasured for the loveliness, and dear to him. The mare he lived with was both lovely and dear to him. She was company in an otherwise empty teepee and she was so gentle and soft in nature she was like a gentle breeze which carried snow upon it's cool current and carassed ones cheek. He couldn't quite put words to her at times and he knew it.
He didn't want to sound silly but he also didn't want to sound so sappy or to use the wrong words for her. "She is as fair and gentle as you my sister."
Turning his attention to her fully he nodded slowly. "Do you think...we could find them while the stars and moon watch down upon us and our search?" He asked hopefully. He missed their family dearly and he knew his sister did, he didn't need to even ask.
"Who shall we seek first or shall we simply look for anyone, whoever we find we find with no paticular order?" His word choice had changed from more whimsical and soft to something that was more eager and ready to go that hope in his eyes and voice showing he wanted to indeed go right now and look with his sister at his side.

Cassiopeia looked to the sky as those stars shone down so lovely like her family. How she loved them more then anything in the world. A gentle breath that covered her back and shoulders as if she carried wings, their wings protecting her. Letting her mind wander she thought of her best friend then to other possibilities. He was her first crush of course, but Cassi knew as well there were many others waiting for her attention, her hand if you will to walk among the stars with one another.
"Oh Lyra if only I knew who would be my true love... if only..." she sung to herself softly before stepping firmly back to reality.
Maybe her mother would shine high above them if they searched for falling stars. Andromeda was as her father mentioned a star fallen to the Earth. A gorgeous lighted soul that arrived to meet him on that fateful night. Is that how Lyra and her would find their love? Shaking her head Cassi giggled to herself. Thoughts like that had to disappear now. The more important fact was their family that seemed lost in that endless black ocean.
"We'll go till we can search no more dear brother" she responded with a soft chime in her voice, "and if the stars see us worthy they'll part way and lead us to them. Through the black canvas there lies a thousand stars Lyra. We are part of those glistening creations. We'll find them I'm sure..."
Leaning downward she whispered softly to her lilies, "I know we'll find them" as she stood up taller then turned to Lyra, "Come lets go now and don't stop till morning." She nudged him then started off in a gallop knowing he'd follow. Surely this world wasn't so vast her heart wouldn't be heard... They were out there somewhere.

Sighing the stallion shook his head of midnight sky like hair. "No one my dear sister should know their true love, at least not before they meet them. It would ruin the magic of it all." He whispered smiling to his sister.
Listening to his sister brought some hope to him. Hope he had not had himself in quite some time. He had lost hope in finding his family and so have stumbled upon his sister was perhaps the first break in the darkness of the night for them, and even spoke as much to his sibling.
"Perhaps dear sister our meeting under the starry sky is the first break in the seemingly never ending darkness of the night sky, the first glimpse of the glittering stars which are hidden behind this dark veil, the one which hides our family from us." He whispered watching his sister carefully, oh how he had missed her so! And to be by her side now once more! It was truly warming all the way to his core. He was sure he could survive winter at it's coldest right now with how warm he felt inside, with his sister at his side and a new hope ignited.
"Yes, we shall go till morning only to start come night once more!" He spoke a certain energy he hadn't felt in so long filling him as he took off after his sister. "This world cannot be so large that we won't find them! We shall ask others if we must, 'Have you seen any soquili as lovely as the stars themselves?' Surely someone has seen our family." He spoke following only steps behind his sister till he caught up to her side.
"We must find them..."
