Setting: A Peaceful meadow, abounding in flower beds, large tree's and a mudpit for wrestling , a small pond too. Time of Day: late morning (11am-ish.) Weather: No clouds in the sky, a perfect day. --------------------------------------------------
Marie looked down into her reflection , making sure her curls were absolutely perfect , when she was assured no hairs were out of place, she trotted around the meadow. The day was perfect and the weather was beautiful. 'Life couldnt be better as of this moment...' She thought to herself as she snagged a clover off its small stem and chewed on it, then swallowing. ' Love, happiness.... beauty~ What else could a mare want... Certainly not friends!' She said to herself, trying to figure out if she had been sarcastic about it. Even she couldnt figure herself out.

Tiffany smiled to herself. The mare held her tail and head high, shining in perfection. Having another set of hooves around in her life was amazing. Korusi was no push over, but he was always willing to come with her on trips to preen, and made sure she never had to sleep worrying that some sort of horrid jealous Soquili would hurt her (despite his assurances that her fears were silly.)
She had left him with the basket. Tiffany loved her family, but she needed time to herself. Basking in her own glory, alone with her perfection. The mare had shed off all her baby weight with ease, and was in the best shape of her life. Now she had four others to impress, instead of just herself. She would NEVER let her foals grow up with a disgrace of a mother, and, although she knew Korusi would love her no matter what, she felt the need to keep him happy as well.
And nothing could ruin her mood. Nothing.

Marie kicked a pinecone playfully, she giggling as it rolled away, she was in such a good mood, she even enjoyed playing like a little foal, no-one was around, so who would know? She continued to trot around the meadow, looking up into the sky at the birds fleeing from a larger bird. The cycle of life , how amusing she thought as the song birds suddenly turned around and began to swarm onto the larger bird. Marie nearly choked in laughter as she saw that the bigger bird was now fleeing, being pursued by a squad of the songbirds. She sat in a flower bed, curling her legs next to her and watched the spectacular in the sky.

Tiffany too noticed the birds, their pathetic fight for dominance. Perhaps they didn't understand the natural orders that other, more sophisticated life forms did. Tiffany knew herself that it was pointless to try to impose her superiority on others, since it was so OBVIOUSLY obvious! In fact, she usually found that trying to explain the hierarchy of life was impossible to most. It was quite simple really. Tiffany was on top, thats all that they had to know.
In yet, some still insisted on question her. Stupid, stupid souls.
The mare reached the top of the hill she was climbing, and looked down to see...someone. A soquili? Yes. A mare, too. A mare that looked....somehow...vaguely....familiar. The familiarity seemed to make something become unrest in her stomach, and made her feel a bit...angry.
But who knows why such feelings could arise on such a perfect day!

Marie stood up as soon as the birds flew out of sight, she shook on a few blades of grass which had stuck to her side. She looked around, then to a over-looking hill. She saw Tiffany, the one mare who made her blood boil. Her mind became flooded with the bad memory she had about Tiffany.
She closed her sapphire colored eyes for a moment. Hoping she would be gone when she opened them, but as she did. She still stood there, her arrogance was still aparrent from her posture. But hey, atleast this time she was prepared for her. And in any case, this could be the time to get up-to-date with the mare.

Tiffany looked closer. It was Marie. The mare had made quite a few enemies in her life, but this...mare...was one of the worst. It was hard to compare, there were so many brands of hate. There was the Kalona that had chased her to eat her, and the stallion that had abandoned her to the mercy of the Kalona. There was the stallion that had gotten mud all over her coat, and the one that had tried get her to do very unladylike things.
But Marie. Well. Marie was up there.
"Oh, Hello DARLING!" she called, putting on her most dazzling smile and trotting the short distance to her old...friend. "It's been so long sweety. You look just as frumpy and useless as usual. I see you have a bit of grass on your coat. Ah, well. I heard the dirty, disgusting, ugly look was in. Well, at least some of us retain our class" she said, all with a smile. Marie couldn't expect Tiffany to have lost any of her charm.

Marie withheld her posture, she wasnt in the mood to argue, instead she was in the mood to make sure Tiffany knew she ment buisness. Or atleast attempt that.
"Tiffany, It has been quite awhile.... I see your still as fat and ugly as ever." Marie pretended to focus on Tiffany's hair. "Well, I see you still have that fungus problem in your hair." She said looking at the flowers which were so elegantly placed in her mane and tail."
Marie rolled her eyes at her usual insults. Something about class, beauty and eventually intelligence would be uttered to her, then Marie would say something back, and it would get to the point of near physical violence. But this time Marie was at the point of making sure Tiffany never spoke to her like that again.
Marie shook off the blade of grass, making sure she was feww of anything embarassing or to give Tiffany any excuse to simply go off.

Tiffany withheld her smile, doing her best to keep it consistently against the idiot mare's rant. She didn't like being called fat, particularly in regards to her recent pregnancy. But she knew she wasn't, and she KNEW Marie didn't know about her foals. Such lovely creatures they were, just one more thing in her life that was absolutely perfect.
"What ever have you been up to while I was away, hmm? Obviously you haven't improved yourself much, thats clear. In fact, I think you seemed to have gotten worst!" she let out her best laugh "Oh well, I certainly can't expect one like...well, you, to ever learn" she added.
The snow white mare's stared right into the other's eyes, meeting her gaze. How much she was ready to shove into her face. The mate, the baskets, the love. But she couldn't play all her cards at once. No, she would have to play them at just the right moment. Otherwise it wouldn't be as sweet.

Marie sighed again. " I havent done much since our last encounter, just the usual preening and compliments, I'm sure one such as yourself would know the feeling... Or wouldnt." She shrugged and rolled her eyes sarcasticlly. She didnt know is Tiff knew sarcasm, if she didnt. All the more fun to spread around later.
"I've learned plenty, thank you very much." She puffed up with pride for a second and let it all out. Marie didnt bother to use fake gestures, she maintained a dull personality thorughout it all, un-like her old screaming and kicking self.
Marie thought of something to say if she brought anything else up, she instantly thought of Kiun, the stallion who swept her off her feet, well , hooves.

Tiffany didn't miss Marie's rude motions. To her, such a thing was a blatant lack of class, and even of one had no good intentions, it was best for one to at least SEEM that they did, as common courtesy. Another thing that Marie lacked that she shined in, the classiness that separated herself out.
The mare raised an eyebrow. "Nothing else? Really? Well how tremendously boring of you! Well. I understand. Sometimes people are simply too uninteresting to ever achieve anything. " Another attractive laugh "Truly Marie, you are SO funny. People complimenting you. Honestly, I missed your sense of humor." she said.
"Oh you did? I'm sorry sweety, I haven't noticed. Perhaps you should try a little...harder? I mean, clearly you aren't getting any noticeable results." she looked at the other mare from hoof to ear. "Hmm, perhaps you have become a bit frumpier? I mean, if that was your aim, congratulations. It's not working for you, but what I say don't really matter" she said, still maintaining her pleasant voice. "Oh, wait. I think it does..." she added, giving another attractive giggle.

Marie chuckled at the hypocrite mare. "And Tiffany, I suppose meaningless insults are what seperates you from the pack? Your generic white looks and snobby attitude are the absolute classiest things in the world, hmm~?"
Marie's tailed swayed as a breeze past by. "I have gotten plenty compliments, by my mate none the less. How about you? When was the last time you spoke with another stallion whom hasnt thought of your attitude as over the top and un-classy?"
Marie pretended to look at Tiffany's belly. "And also, you do seem to have a flap of fat on your belly? have you been pigging out lately tiffany? Is the fungus in your hair smelling especially delicious as of late? One of such low standards would probably eat those hideous things."

Tiffany brightly looked through the other mare's insults. "Well, SOME of us don't need anything flashy. We can be elegant, polite, and sweet. With out looking like a stupid little tart" said the mare.
And oh. This was good, just TOO good. "Oh? You found a mate? Congratulations dear, I'm glad you've found someone desperate enough for you" she said, with a chuckle.
"Oh? A stallion giving me compliments? Well, that hasn't happened since...oh dear! A few hours ago!" she couldn't hide the smirk. "By a lovely stallion named Korusi. Who, happens to be my mate. And...oh yes, the father of my three lovely foals" she said, giving a smile "And even though I HAVE had foals, I should let you know I'm in the best shape of my life. One like myself can pull it off quite easily" she said, smiling even wider then before. If possible.
If there was one thing Tiffany really needed to brag about was her family. It was so incredibly perfect. Korusi would make an amazing father, and, even if she wasn't so sure, he assured her that she could make a wonderful mother.

Marie almost choked at thel ist she provided her, she was the opposirte of all those things, except the stupid tart part.
"Desperate? You went and ruined your body with foals dearie, no wonder you looked so fat, you were desperate to get some action." Marie said smiling. "And no stallions with such strong wingsare desperate deary, and his lovely shade of blue mane." She almost swooned at the thought of her partner. "I would be desperate if i chose someone...pink." She had chosen the color off the top of her head, but wondered how tiffany would react to it.

Tiffany rolled her eyes, half expecting this response. "I'm my biggest critic deary, and I assure you I have lost no looks to my children. I know jealousy may blur your vision, but I should let you know you are mistaken" said the mare with a laugh.
'Blue? Wings? Sounds like some foalish creation. Against your red...well, those colors don't compliment each other at all. They are both prominent colors, and next to each other, they look like trash" said the mare "And I happen to consider pink one of my favorite colors. Korusi has it, and more. A deep, black coat with beautiful cherry blossom petals, and a lovely silver horn" she said, practically swooning at the thought.

Marie almost gagged. "Your bias isnt critique, tiffany. It's a confided opinion about your horrid little brats.
Marie knew deep down she was jealous, she couldnt compare her pink abomination to Kiun. "Oh, really? It sounds like a totally generic black and white couple. Such boring and dull-ness must be in your life. I pity creatures such as yourself..."
