Imagine yourself living your life normally, you are worried about your love life, job is getting stressful, your dog is in the hospital with a broken leg. These things are all in your mind, or similar thoughts of worry as you walk down a street in a crowded place. Suddenly someone approaches you. He sides up to you, and talks to your normally and even in a overly friendly manner. In fact, he acts really friendly, and asks if you would like to participate in a personality test. It's free. As you take this personality test you 'discover' that you're depressed, anti-social, mentally disturbed, and a whole lot of other things. Then, the person who did the personaloty test says to you, "For $150, you can take classes and improve yourself." He then proceeds to introduce you to Dianetics, a book created by L Ron Hubbard, a science-fiction writer back in the 1950's that supposedly helps you improve yourself as a person.
This is how Scientologists trick people into becoming one of them. Right from the start, they feed you promises, telling you that enlightenement is attainable. From the very beginning they tell you that they are able to right your life, only if you join their Church.
What they do not tell you is that to take part in this 'life-changing' program, you are going to have to pump in over
$300,000 to reach the highest level (OT VIII). What they don't tell you is that if you don't have the money, you're no longer able to receive help from them (
Source: New York inquirer). What you they don't tell you is that if you have money and you refuse to give it over, they're going to find ways of getting it from you (
Source: whyaretheydead.net - Suicide of Patrice Vic).
But that is not the worst of it. Ever since the foundation of the so-called church, people have repeatedly been harmed. People that were opposed to the 'Church' as well as their own followers. Some deaths are shrouded in conspiracy thanks to the Church (
source). Almost all of these people died still firmly believing in the Church until their final moments (
source: Lisa McPherson), while others realized that they were being misled and committed suicide because they felt that this was the only way out (
source: Noah Atrim Lottick).
What needs to be done? People need to learn the truth, and spread the word about the inner-workings of a dangerous organization running behind the mask of a religion. People need to learn that enlightenment does not need to come at the cost of their own well-being. They need to know that the Church lies to them, and is only interested in their money.
Doesn't this defy their right to freedom of religion? No. We are not attacking their beliefs, but their cruelty to those that criticize them and their own followers. What we want is for people to know, and to expose the lies and deciet of the Church. This is what makes it a cult. We respect their right to believe whatever they want to believe, that is why we support the
Free Zoners, who believe in the teachings of L Ron, but not in the cruel money-making machine behind the 'Church'.
Are you supporting Anonymous? Yes. We are. Those that join this cause support Anonymous. This is because they demand that free speech be tolerated without the fear of a lawsuit for criticising their religion. This is because if we wish to express ourselves against the Church we should not fear for our lives.
I don't believe they are that bad. Then seek the truth yourself. Knowledge is free.

{This is one done by Anonymous}
Anonymous explainsA very large group of people has declared a "war" on the Church of Scientology. They call themselves Anonymous. Many feel that this group is a bunch of hackers. While this is partially true, they are much more. Their manifesto is evidence that they are a large group of people from all walks of life. Some happen to be very computer literate. They have decided to fight for the freedom of knowledge and information. Many other people have tried to reveal the truth about the Church of Scientology. Unfortunately these attempts have ended in failure. The Church sends out cease and desist orders to anyone who tries to speak out against them. They have a history of violating people’s right to privacy by revealing secrets to the public. They intimidate their critics, and even resort to stalking their perceived enemies. The Church originally instituted a "fair game" policy on all critics. "Enemies of the church could be injured, tricked, sued, lied to or destroyed. Fair game." - L. Ron Hubbard (Creator of the "Church" and the "religion"). This is a threat to the freedom of information and knowledge that Anonymous is fighting for.
Anonymous has nothing against religion, although they may ridicule some of the more interesting concepts. They believe in freedoms and they are not trying to undermine freedom of religion. Their fight is strictly against the Church of Scientology. The websites associated with Anonymous have been attacked frequently, ordered to be silenced by the church's lawyers. The Church has some of the best lawyers possible. They also have members in many government agencies. They are currently tax exempt, under the claim that they are a non-profit organization. But how can a Church that charges its members for sermons/sessions/audits claim to be non-profit? It can cost up to $300 per session, and over $300,000 for their complete series of sessions and audits. This is not a religion, folks. They are not being religiously persecuted. The Church of Scientology claims to be both a religion and a business, when it is in fact neither; it is simply a cult. They prey on people's emotions.
What else is the Church of Scientology guilty of? They are guilty of murder. Scientologists do not practice modern medicine; they believe that psychiatry is a false science that kills. Scientology ignores the fact that psychiatry is based on the scientific method requiring objective experimentation and peer review. They have had frequent cases where they take followers off their needed modern psychiatric medication and instead they give them vitamins and auditing sessions. The result, depending on the ailment, can be fatal. Many deaths have occurred in the Church of Scientology's headquarters in Clearwater, FL. Documents of these deaths can be found at
http://whyaretheydead.net The next wave of this war is peaceful protest. On February 10th, there will be protests around the globe at Churches of Scientology. February 10th was chosen because it was the birth date of the woman who suffered one of the most controversial deaths caused by the Church of Scientology, Lisa McPherson. Want to do something about the Church of Scientology's illegal reign in the world? Forward this e-mail to your contact list. Write to your congressman about the tax exempt status of the Church. Spread the word. Attend a protest. Do some research. Read the article printed in Time magazine. Read about Operation Snow White and Operation Freakout. Arm yourself with knowledge.
Don't believe this post? Check out the following websites!
http://xenu.net http://whyaretheydead.net. In regards to the websites, there are more. There used to be a lot more. These two are some of the only ones that have been able to survive the Church of Scientology's legal team. Disclosure of additional sites may result in them being taken down. So use Google.com for research. Try searching the following things: "Truth about Scientology," "Scientology and Me BBC," "Scientology Documents," "Scientology Secrets." Don't believe the previous websites or this post? Then obviously you are either a Scientologist or extremely practiced at turning your head.
Also, to any Anonymous that receive this: spread the word. The Church of Scientology may have been able to shut down Anonymous's site, but they can't shut down a mass post-chain.
Thank you for your time, Anonymous
