Yes, and have been for a while.
I;ve actually never voted major party for a President. My record is Perot, Perot, Browne, Badnarik.
I did vote (early voting) in the CA LP primary. I plan on being a delegate to the State convention in San Diego and probably to the National Convention in Denver. At those points I will be casting votes that will determine the LP candidate for President. Of course I plan on voting in November.
Who will I vote for? That's a trickier question. Should Ron Paul pull a brokered convention in St. Paul by delegate scrambling (and yes that could happen, believe me I will actually vote for Paul (unless Huckabee becomes his running mate, which I've heard rumors of) Ditto if Paul can't pull a broker and instead shows up in Kansas City (CP) or Denver (LP) I would still vote for him.
If I can't vote Paul I would probably vote for the LP candidate. That race is a good bit more complicated but will probably be either Root or Phillies unless of course RP shows in Denver. That's pretty much all he'd have to do to win that nod, he has 70 percent support among the Party activists.

So, let's start some friendly debate-- what's your definition of "taking a strong grip" on this country? Who's your candidate? What's your take?

I am able to vote in my country. An election has been called in my province... and though there is no set date for an election federally... It appears Parliament will fall in March over the issue of extending the mission in Kandahar.

In approximately 8 months, I will be 18 and thus be able to vote.
I just hope the Canadian parliament doesn't blow up before then and I won't have another opportunity for awhile again. I've been waiting to vote for awhile, I predicted that I'd be able to vote on the next election after Grade 9, but of course, an election had to comebetween the time of 14 and 18. >.>

I think the initial action in Afghanistan was just, but when we let OBL slip away at Tora Bora we then changed the whole thing into a big purge and invasion thing. Everything since has been the usual mess that war creates-- poor people, new and old warlords, chaos, and in general misery. I have a friend who lives near Olds, Alberta and I have another who used to live in Calgary (now in Victoria BC)
