The male emporer penguin waddles and slides an expanse of about 70 miles just to find romance, and starves himself from the time he gets to his destination to the time desired egg hatches. He goes without food and sits on an egg through 80 degree below zero temperatures, daring not drop the egg for it will immediately freeze to death. It even saves a milky substance in it's mouth even through starvation just to keep the baby alive for a few more days just in case the mother is late in coming back.
They stay with their mates until they must go back, but when they come back they don't recognize the previous mate.
Why can't real men be like that too?
I wish a guy would walk 70 miles to meet me! XD

Oh my goodness! Including wearing a 'tux' and everything, the penguin 'chicks' have it good! Can I have a species change, right now? xD
There is one guy I'd like to drive 6 hours to meet me, but it ain't happening. I met him at camp over the summer, and sad thing is I can't read his handwriting, and got his e-mail without giving him mine. Mental note to self, when exchanging e-mails with someone you'd like to keep in touch with, its always desirable to give them yours as well, and possibly write down theirs yourself since you can most of the time read your own hand writing. At least I got a snazzy picture of the two of us to brag to all of my friends and hang up in my locker, proof it wasn't just a dream! xD
Now if only he was a penguin...xD
