Mawi Mai giggled as she danced around slightly. She was liking her free time, even though she spent most of it with her sister, or pratcing. When she did get out she had a lot of fun, or atleast tryed to.
She smiled as she started humming, then she stoped, a butterfly caught her eye. She lowered herself to the ground and then bounded after it. "Come back Mister Butterfly!" She giggled in her sing-song-ish voice.
"Awww." She said as it slowly drifted off into the air. She huffed and sat down. She was wondering if anyother cubs were around, she really wanted to play. Her and her sister were looking for new friends, but just boys, girls were... harder to get along with.

The juve padded through these unknown lands warily, dark-green tipped ears flicking back and forth curiously. He'd left Jua'randa by himself for a while to, he assumed, explore. The truth was he just wanted to stretch his legs. He loved his surrogate father, but sometimes the wander-lust he always had kicked in.
The cat slunk through the grass, nose twitching and green eyes darting from one object to the next. His mouth was slightly agape, a quizzical expression perpetually strung across his maw as he attempted to get his bearings.
Maybe he'd be able to catch something? Then when he returned his dad could be proud of him! The thought made his tail wag happily.

Mawi Mai looked up for a moment "WhatWasThat!" She gawked a bit toward the genral direction of hearing somthing. Mawi was a pretty hyper cub but when it came to finding out what stuff was she loved it. She moved foreward, and started sniffing the air.
She puffed out her chest just a bit and slunk down closer to the ground. She slowly moved foreward rembering her best where she heard the sound. As she got closer she wiggled her rump in the air just a bit and pounced hoping to land on what ever was there. "IGotYou!" She said while she was jumping.

Nyota'Chali, at the current moment, was busy inspecting the boney remains of some small animal(possibly a genet) that had been previously eaten. It's bones were nearly stripped of meat and fat, and after a moment crouched near the skeleton, he knew why. Tiny lines of black dots, ants, were moving back and forth from the site of the food, picking off bits and carrying them away to the ant-hill not far from here.
The male watched these creatures intently, crouched down near there with his nose stuck right up near the lines of little soldiers. Ears were pricked forwards, and emerald auds followed their marching moves. Until....
"GAH!" The male let out a squealish yelp of surprise as something attacked him, the small lion rolling over onto his back.

Mawi Mai giggled as she rolled over off of the other cub and laid on her side. "HI!" She giggled and sat up, the best she could, on her hind legs. She looked the male over He was a darker color with green markings. She smiled as she looked up at his eyes. "My name is Mawi Mai, who are you?" She asked quite cheerfully. Her voice still holding that song like quality.
Through the entire time she held a bright smile, she loved meeting others, more friends the merrier. And he was a Male! Maybe she could convince him to join her and her sisters group. But she wasn't going to talk about that right away... Don't want to scare him off.... Err. Scare him off more.

The thing that attacked him, it, it chirped! And, it...spoke?
Utterly confused the male shook his head in utter confusion, brows knit as he sat up, with a stiff posture examining this female. She was bigger than he himself was, but only by a bit. And she was a lion as well! That was odd to see, especially one as small as him. But, because of his absolutely limited knowledge of other animals besides himself and Jua, Nyota thought that this she was actually a he.
The voice that this lion juve had was chirpy, like the little flutter things that sat in the trees. How odd! His adoptive father's voice rumbled like a happy noise(purr) and his own wavered with uncertainty. "No....Nyota. Nyota'Chali." The cat replied automatically, catching only half the words that she chittered.

Mawi Mai giggled again and begain humming as she thought about his name. She smiled as her gaze landed back on him. "That is a very nice name!" She nodded and her grin grew bigger.
"Do you like music?"
Her eyes grew slightly hopeful. SHe loved meeting others that liked what she loved, no what she lived for, then again so did the rest of her pride.

"T-T-Thank yew..." The cat replied with a nod, using the response that Jua'randa had taught him. Had it gone like that? He was half sure it had. Either way, Jua had said it meant something good and you were supposed to reply with it after someone had said something good to you.
"Mew-zick?"
Nyota cocked his head, brow furrowing. What was this moo-zick? The male shook his head, no quiet understanding the question.

Mawi Mai's widened. He did not know what music was!? She puffed out her chest a bit and smiled at him. "Music It is what everything makes, it is a rythem... or like combation of sounds that make you feel good.." She started thing. "Ughh! Its hard to explain! Here let me show you."
Mawi Mai started beating her paws on the ground a bit making a drumming like sound but also dancing. "People Dance to it... Witch it like expressing how the song makes you feel while you hear it." She nodded and beat her feet harder. "If I had a drum I would show you what a insterment it but.." She looked down at her feet. "My feet will do. Insterments are like things that add more sound, pretty ones too, they set up how the song sounds."
Then she smiled. "Then there is singing. The hardest to explain."
"Zwa le lizwe bo Zwa le lizwe bo Zwa le lizwe bo Zwa lomhlaba."
She begain singing her pride song, her mother taught it to her, her voice was wonderous like most of her other pride members.. After she was done she looked at him. "Get it." She sat up puffing out her chest more proudly.

At her odd explanation, Nyota'Chali could only c**k his head, mouth slightly agape in an expression of confusion. But it began to come together with the dancing, and, intrigued, the cub found himself tapping a paw on the ground experimentally, listening to the beat it made.
He like this music. Especially the odd words that came from the female's mouth, though he didn't know exactly what they meant, he liked the sound of them. The cub's tail flicked behind him joviously, green-tipped ears pulled forwards like cups trying to scoop up everything.
Sadly though the 'mew-zick' ended, and the cat found himself wanting to hear more of it. "Y-Yeah, I-I do."

Mawi smiled as his foot tapped lightly, she loved teaching others, that's why she wanted to have a rank like her mama's when she was older. Mawi looked at the male with a big grin.
"Wonderful!" She laughed and moved a bit closer to him. "In our pride we do a lot of singing, and Dancing! And even just beating out for the fun of it!" She giggled and wiggled around a bit.
"You should cheak it out!" Then she started getting excited. "Ororororoorrr! You can hang out with me and my sister!" She laughed and pawed at him. "We are going to make this bbbiiigg group of buddies, but only boys, because most girls are icky to us." She stuck out her tounge. "Such meanies. Anyway! We are going to do a lot of things like just hang out and beat." She grinned widely proud of herself.

The cat matched her grin, realizing that his answer indeed was a good thing. Perhaps that's how he was supposed to reply to others? Jua took any answer, though never really told him anything about music, or drumming, whatever those were. All these new concepts, it nearly made his head spin.
Nyota moved back shyly as Mawi came forwards, not sure that he wanted to be that close to the lion just yet. Green ears flickered backwards at her suddenly more enthusiastic nature of wiggling around and striking out at him.
Eyebrows went up and her leaned backwards to dodge a playful paw. What was she doing? Chattering on and being so, rambunctious? It seemed the right word.

Mawi Mai giggled a bit but then noticed him backing up. She felt slightly discouraged as she backed up and blinked. "I'm sorry If I scared you..." She sniffed the air for a omment and then sat back on her haunches. "Do you want to play? Tag?"
She smiled again waiting to see what he would say, hopefully yes. She had never met anyone else before that didn't want to play.

"Aye wazn't scured.."
The cat mumbled abashedly, eyes darting downwards and away from Mawi Mai. Then, he blinked, his own actions surprising him. He wasn't known to talk much, if any at all, and the same with accepting or denying something. So why'd he respond?
That question being asked, Nyota gave her an odd look. Tag? What was tag? Through all that his adopted father had taught him, 'play' wasn't exactly one of the most prominent things, and he himself tended to shy away at Jua's attempts at a friendly rough-housing.
"I dunoh houw."

Mawi blinked... He didn't know tag. That was the most basic game of them all..
She padded back to him and pawed at him touching his arm. "First you have to touch the other person and then you run from them. They have to tag you back. To do that you have to touch them then you run from them."
"So." She went over to him and pawed at him. "Tag." She started slowly sprinting the other way hoping he would get the consept.
