well i've played about all of them and they are all pretty good here are my top 3
3-harvest moon a wonderful life
2- harvest moon freinds of mineral town
1-harvest moon 64
1 and 2 are close cause they have alot of the stuff in the but the 64 also has alot of things that the GBA dosent sweatdrop

i've played the boy and girl but i havent played the other one anothwer wonderful life is with the girl i know but eh anyway I JUST LOVE HARVEST MOON!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^-^

It's a tough choice, but Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life would have to be my favorite.
I absolutely love the small details of the scenery. The fact that the villagers grow and change as the years go by is also wonderful. Though, I thought it was so sad when Nina died. Her turtle racing was fun to watch. xP
And, the characters are humorous and interesting. Such as Daryl and his constant, unsuccessful exploits/experiments. Not to mention his strange fascination with your own child and livestock. xD

lutricks awww no one likes the orignal friends of minral town? typo xd That would be my second choice. Everything in that game is small and cute. Even the Gourmet. xP (and, it's fun to see characters from AWL visit FoMT game after linking.) Plus, there's a kappa. Who can argue with how awesome those are? Another thing I like about it is the background music. It's calm and seems to fit the seasons well. Even the clucking sound effect grew on me. xP

Yeah I've only played original FoMT (which I looove) and Rune Factory but I have to say Rune Factory wins hands down for me out of the two ^__^
They're both awesome in their won ways but I love the extra elements in RF...when you get tired of farming there's other stuff you can do like forging and cave exploration!

Yes, I agree that Rune Factory really is one of a kind and a great game!
I would only wish that there was some highly priced items or something you could try to achieve after you've upgraded the house.
Now I have a lot of money, but nothing to use them on.
And I'm married. It feels almost empty to even try to play anymore, I don't know what I'll try to achieve now. Other than saving the town. haha. But still.
It could have been something.

Yeah, seriouslt...I have a ton of money too XD
It annoys me that you still can select to upgrade a house and then you get told "YOu already got a house!" it's like, why even have the option still???
