Shaoilin Woods is looking to hire additional colorists to assist in keeping the shop active and to continue to make it a fun place to be. We are looking for, at maximum, two individuals to join the staff to do the following: 1. At least one flatsale a month (4-6 wolves in a batch, colorists can each do half a batch or they can both create a full flatsale batch...the more, the better) 2. Assist with breedings depending on demand 3. Help run events/raffles/etc 4. Customs on occasion 5. Other minor duties associated with colorings (rank changes, etc)
::Requirements::
-Have no huge commitments already in place on gaia (i.e. running your own shop, full-time colorist elsewhere, etc) -Use photoshop and understand how to use layers -An ability to do minor lineart edits + manipulate shading templates -Willing to work with Jade, both under her instruction but also collaboratively for events and whatnot -Good communication skills

Hiring will be done in two phases. The first phase will be form submission for those interested in a position. In the second phase, Jade will then select the top choices from the submissions and send a sample psd for those individuals to color/edit to see how they handle the lineart. #1 - Do we use current and past examples of our work? (IE: I can post up kom'giet examples)
#2 - How complex would you like the coloring samples to be? Super all-out, simplistic, a bit of both?
#3 - How complex would you like the line art examples to be? Thinks suck as blindfolds, torn ears, jewlery, etc. or full out cosplay? Maybe some little curved horns?

Considering we don't do anything super crazy, simple edits like jewelry, hair, etc would suffice.

XD Anything else Worth Noting: Well, I am a bit of slacker/procrastinator, and forgetful as all hell when I don't type/write things down, but when I'm poked, prodded, jabbed, or given a deadline, I buckle down and get s**t done at a fairly impressive speed. cool As for art stuff; I've got 9x12 Intuos2 Wacom and Photoshop Elements 4.0 (which does not handle any layers grouped into folders, so if any .psd documents have 'em grouped into various folders, I won't be able to alter, edit, or manipulate any of the layers inside them.)
