The War for Wonderland (Open)

It was a bright and sunny day. There were birds singing in the air, there were bread and butterflies flitting around, the sky was a lovely shade of blue -it must have been in a good mood- and the Royal Palace of Hearts was pristine, ornate, and beautiful. The gardens were perfect, and the right kinds of roses had been planted, so no flowers had to be painted to keep up the color scheme. There was a silver tea set sitting on a table with a plush armchair next to it outside on the veranda, the occupant of the seat happily sipping his tea and observing the lovely sights...
BOOOOOOOOOMMMM
The explosion rattled the tea set, all the windows, and the occupants of the city and palace. All except for one person.
The Cheshire Magician took another sip of his tea, and picked up a cookie. He nibbled on it, while admiring the colorful effects the blast had on the gigantic shield he had set up around the Royal City and Palace. There was no way anyone could get in unless the Cheshire Magician wanted them too.
Sadly, the current invader seemed not to have noticed that. The Magician grinned at the next bombardment being thrown at the shields to no avail. The Cheshire Magician dipped his cookie into his tea and stirred it around.
"I'll say one thing abut that granddaughter of mine. She has her grandfather's stubbornness."

The boy was was running away form some cruel looking soldiers. He had been wandering about in the Tulgy Wood when he had been accosted.He had told the two men in their uniforms that he had never heard of any 'Empress Alice', only two Queen Alice's, and they were both dead. Unfortunately they didn't listen to him, they only insisted that he give them all the food he had on his person. Except the problem was he didn't have any food, and so he had no other option than to run away. Of course that didn't help things much since they just ran after him and began saying threatening things.
This had been gong on for, oh, at least two hours or so. The boy wanted to go home, the only problem was, he was a bit afraid of that the soldiers would attack his family and burn the crops, and that would just be tragic. So here he was, running, gasping, about to cry, etc, etc.
He saw his chance to hide when he saw a very large hedge. He took the opportunity to hurl himself behind it, and tried to stifle his erratic breathing. He kept silent as he hear the two men come closer. He prayed desperately that there would be no noise to draw attention to his hiding place.
"Hey, boy." The kid gulped in fear as he turned his head a little to the left... and saw the girl.
Her hair was black, her stockings were black as well as her high-heeled boots, her eyes were red, as was her dress and shoe laces. He noticed a red ribbon in her short hair. She poked him and he came back to reality.
"Boy, who's following you?"
"Can you please keep it dow-"
"I'm the one giving the orders here. Who's following you?"
"Some strange soldiers, now- NO, don't look up-!"
Too late. The girl stuck her head out of the hedge, revealing herself to the two men. They looked at her, and she frowned and gave a growl. "Alice's men."
They charged. The boy could barely follow her movements. Right kick, right hook to the jaw, left uppercut, a kick to the groin, another flurry of kicks from her painfully high heeled-boots, and soon the assailants were on the ground bemoaning their current painful discomfort. The girl smoothed her hair before looking at them.
"Now then," she said grandly "I am going to give you a chance to run away. I am going to count to ten, and by the time I am done, the two off you must be, " she took a deep breath and Screamed "OOOOOFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!"
The men went flying through the air, screaming fearful profanities as they were blown down the path back into the most dangerous part of the Tulgy Wood. The boy gaped at the spot they had been sitting before looking at his rescuer.
"Oh, WOW, that was amazing! Thank you, tha-"
"Food."
"... Eh?"
The girl looked at him. "You wanna thank me, bring me to a place were they'll give me free food that tastes great."
The boy smiled. "My mother will cook you whatever you want! Come with me, Miss...?"
"Ecila. Or Your Greatness, whichever you prefer."

Long dark hair cascaded around her thrown as she lounged in the large plush chair. She held a hand mirror to her face and- for what seemed like the billionth time- gazed disdainfully at her blue eyes. She let out a quiet moan and covered them with her hand.
"Empress!" Came the shout of a man as he stumbled into Alice's dark throne room. Alice sat up and looked at him sternly.
"What is it?" She snapped and he came to an imediate halt. Suddenly her eyes sparkled.
"News of my so-called sister?"
"I-well..." The man fidgeted and Alice frowned.
"Tell me!" She ordered, "Have you found Ecila or not?"
"Not...quite...." He muttered and his eyes grew fearfull as Alice raised her hand. Her fingers Twitched and Moved like a pupeteer controlling a sting doll and the man felt his limbs lock up and his back bend forward.
"If you have not found her..." Alice's soft voice was razor sharp, "Then I want you to BEG so you recieve my mercy!"
The guard screamed.
"No! no please! Your mercy!" He cried as Tendrils of black magic snaked along his ankles.
"We've covered nearly all Tulgy Wood! There can't be much place left to hide now!"
Alice smirked wickedly and released her charge.
"That's where you're wrong." She said.
"Should Elice cross the Great Divide into the White and Red kingdoms...Well, I'm not sure how White will react but the Red kingdom would most surely protect her. Terrible war could break out if that happens...And we cannot let that happen now can we?"
The guard shook his head vigorously.
"Good. You know your orders. Capture Ecila and bring her to me! Her magic shall be mine!" Her peircing eyes watched as the guard saluted and hurried away.

The White Kingdom...truly the most magnificent Kingdom in all the world. All the buildings were made of pure white marble and crystal and the streets glowed multi colors (a testimony of the Royal Family's ability to use Aurora Magic). The only color in the streets were of the vibrant signs of the many shops and the deeps blues and purples worn by the residents. Of course there was the occasional flower box or garden, but most of the city was white and sparkled in the sun. Through the streets walked a woman in her twenties her light blue hair and eyes a significant giveaway of White Kingdom Royalty. Adorned on her head was a golden circlet that branched at the end with feathers of a dove. In fact, all her clothes she wore were either light blue, white, or gold with pink jewels. This particular woman walked the streets of her kingdom often, helping those in need, and everywhere she went people would point her out and say things like:
"Show your respect! She's the princess!"
"What a fair and kind woman!"
These words were nice, for the people admired her. She was the People;s Princess. She was Snowe White. As she walked she cuaght sight of a boy crying on the side of the street. Her heart began to fluttered as she felt for him and so she walked over to him quickly.
"Young man..." Her voice as smooth as the finest silk. She knelt before him and stared in his eyes.
"Tell me what troubles you..."
The boy's lips immediately clamped shut but Snowe knew how that worked. Her eyes stared deep into his wide ones and she saw...
"It's your mother isn't it?" She asked.
"Your mother is sick..."
The boy's wide eyes grew even wider and he nodded silently.
Snowe smiled and Kissed his cheek.
"Blessed be you." She whispered. "You're mother is well."
"Johl?" Came a voice from inside the house the bow sat before. The boy jumped and turned.
"Mommy!?"
"Where are you honey? Can you give me a hand?"
Johl suddenly jumped happily to his feet.
"Thank you Lady!" He said cheerily and hurried inside. Snowe gave him a sad smile.
