because me and some friends were getting tired of old forums, like a few before people starded stealing names etc. it was getting really annoying so we started one

And I hate to burst your proverbial bubble, but generally small forums like that don't go very far. Unless you know a shitload of people who know a shitload of people, it will probably die. I mean, hell, we (the MPRILC) have forums outside of Gaia, and people hardly, if ever, use them.
We're not old. Instead of starting your own, you and your friends could work to liven this one up a bit if you think it's so "old."
