i think we should make a petition about either making a gilmore girls movie or continue the episodes! plase make a petition get signatures because we need to fight for our right for gilmore girls!so lets get them back on the air

But you know what, we got a petition already for this. wink Along with a website!

The petition petitions for both a movie and/or another season (whether it be shortened or not). The website is also supporting both (movie or season). The website is basically a homebase for all us still out there fighting. It posts updates and news about any media having to do with a season 8 and/or a movie. We have a forum to discuss campaign ideas, any recent news, letters we've written, updates on how the petition is going (we currently have almost 11,000 sigs blaugh ) and whatever else we need to talk about to get this amazing show back!

In all honesty, I think it would be weird to come back for a season after so long. A movie however would be a great way to better wrap up (I thought the last season left too much open).

I think it is unlikely in the present time. They are all busy with other things (when there is no strike). AS-P has a new show coming on eventually.

Sorry, the show is never coming back to television. They ripped down the interior sets already. I went Stars Hollow though. I actually stood on Lorelai's front porch!

Well we are hoping and praying really hard that it will! sad I think I speak for everyone when I say we were/are all really upset about the cancellation and miss it like crazy! crying We are doing everything we can to get it back so if you can, please help out! wink

i think doing a movie to rap everything up would be great i miss the season so much it upsets me that it stopped but a movie would be great!!!!

In my opinion, having another season would be completely unneccesary. They ended season 7 perfectly, and if another season were to happen, it would not match up to the series finale they had before.

A movie would be cool.
