The City of Llurth Dreir holds the majority of the Underdark's geothermal energy and subsequently has a warmer climate. It's inhabitants make good use of this volcanic activity and have somehow harnessed it to power their city, unlike the magic and faerie fire of other Drow settlements. Throwing unsuspecting males into the boiling magma is the prefered way of sacrificing to Lloth in Llurth Dreir.

Rusayla wandered the market, looking for a procurer of surface herbs. Most of the Underdark’s vegetation ran towards lichen and other fungi, useful enough, but limited in purpose. Also, the surface raiders generally only concerned themselves with material wealth, or strange and shiny things, as she called them. It was proving a harder task than expected.
It didn’t help that there were booths all over the place; she had to keep turning her head like a tourist to be quite sure she hadn’t missed anything. At least she had enough experience to avoid bumping into people; small favors. As long as no one approached while she was looking elsewhere, she should be fine.

The marketplace was almost empty of patrons. It was not surpising; the day was still young, with many of the merchants and nobles alike just climbing from their beds. Ilphonim meandered his way past the few browsing customers, his back stooped and his pace slow as he shoulder paper wrapped packages. The young male was so overladen that he struggled to slip into his own kiosk, much to the amusement of the merchants to either side of his stall. Today would be his first official day opening, and those to either side found fault in everything about his stall; from its lack of decoration to attract customers, to the plain clay pots that he began to arrange on the tiered display shelves. Ilphonim ignored them, instead taking care to pack them lightly with precious soil imported from the surface. Finally, satisfied that everything was in order, he stood back, eyes closed and arms outstretched. The pots quivered, and Ilphonim began to hum. From each pot and planter, green began to burst forth, rare flowers from the surface bloomed, and gentle sweet fragrances entranced customers. The merchants were aghast. Ilphonim could not help but smirk.

Rusayla had turned in Ilphonim's direction just in time to see his display with the flowers. She smiled and made her way towards his stall; this was the best prospect for her needs she had seen.
"Greetings, merchant," she said, nodding in acknowledgement. "Your display is quite impressive, but I must wonder if you have aught else that may be put to better use than mere decoration."

Ilphonim bowed low at the approach of the drowess, averting his eyes as custom dictated. When he rose, he was careful not to make direct eye contact, instead keeping his gaze focused on the flowers before him. "Of course, my lady." He brushed the palm of his hand over the head of a daisy. "I can grow whatever it is you wish, provided I am familliar with the plant." He smiled cordially and inclined his head, hoping against hope that he knew the plants that she required. As a member of the House of Luana, he was most comfortable with the flowering plants his mistress favored, but as a student of earth magic, it had been hardy, useful sprouts that had consumed his time and efforts.

{Great, now I need to do research. XD I'll post this, and then do research for other stuff}
Rusayla nodded, pleased, and reached into her small carrying satchel to remove a sheaf of papers which she smoothed and set on a clear space. She tapped the top paper, which displayed a floral diagram. "I believe it is called a 'rose,' and my studies indicate that although it is a nice decorative plant, it has other uses as well."
Easy first; she thought she saw some variant of this plant hiding among the riot of color. She could work up to the more difficultly acquired.

Ilphonim smiled wide, his eyes focused on the sheaf of paper. "Of course my lady, anything for you. A rose is easy enough. It is good in teas, or to make perfume." He picked up an empty pot, closed his eyes and focused. He inhaled slowly, willing a rose to bud and blossom in his mind's eye. When he had finished, a small, dainty rose bush had sprouted from the clay pot, the buds and leaves still slowly unfurling as he watched with a pleased grin. "Here we are, as my lady asked for. Was there anything else?"

Rusayla nodded, impressed. "Yes, although I do not believe it will be so easy." She reached into her stack of papers and shuffled out two, smoothing them on top. She tapped the top sheet, depicting a sketch of a tree. "'Willow,' and," she paused, flipped to the next sheet and continued, her tongue twisting on the foreign words, "'White pine.'"
She shifted back a half step, remarking, "I understand if you cannot provide these, as they seem to be quite different from the plants you have on display."

Not very far behind Rusayla was her twin, Irelual, who was out at the market as well. She was out partially out of boredom, and was wondering what her sister was up to since their older sister was never around anymore. Irelual wandered around the market, wondering in which direction her sister went in, watching the reactions to some merchants as their eyes fell upon the middle daughter of the second house.

Trielnolu sat beside a fountain which was designed to emulate Lloth, in that eight streams of hot water spout from a spider's body. The water into which the streams flowed was heated by the magma and was so hot it was little more than steam. She sat there in part to cleanse herself symbolically and in part to get away from her escort, who didn't dare go so near steam and water while wearing armor. She was weary of being trailed everywhere simply because she was being trained as a mage.
Since leaving to train as a mage she had realized that her family's methods were abnormal, and unnecessarily harsh, and that their obsession with their freakish worship habits were holding them back, preventing them from rising to the prestige they deserved.
Tri-no had a plan to remedy that. She would kill the head of the Baen'duis family, and in the ensuing panic, she would take power, even though she would not to succeed the head of the family unless several more people died. She hoped to use her magical training to aid her in keeping her position, as few in her family pursued crafts beyond the clergy or the warrior-classes.
To carry out her plan, however, she needed poisons. No one expected assassinations within the family. Baen'duis wasn't that kind of family. So her attempt should be successful. She wasn't sure where, exactly, to find poisons, but she assumed she could find them fairly easily in the market. She assumed incorrectly. They seemed to elude her. Failing that, she thought she might find and hire an assassin.
Her guards were nearby, but the steam obscured their view of her, and so she moved slowly through the steam to the other side of the fountain and from there she slipped away to go in search of some things she truly needed, but didn't dare acquire with an audience. Assassins being among those things. She set off boldly, waiting to see someone who seemed properly scurrilous.

Llurth Dreir, home of magma, rather messily done sacrifices, and that warrior he meet in the marker and got him in all this trouble. Really, did he have to come over here ‘again’ witness all the skin crawlingness of this city? Briefly he debated on if crawlingness actually was a proper word before going on in his train of thoughts. On to finding the Baen’duis family.
Jyses blew the long floating free strands of hair from his eyes. Really he should have tugged everything back into a simple braid instead of letting it flow loose. He had added a pair of combs to keep most of it out of his face but it still got loose and in his sight. He sigh, looking up to his mentor.
Wait where is his mentor? s**t. Jyses, ran his fingers though his hair glancing around. How could he have lost Men? "I hope this isn't a other test," he muttered softly.

Trielnolu was distracted from her search for seamy characters - there were so many, but none seemed appropriate, really - by a very attractive pair of combs in the hair of what looked like a very attractive male. She slipped closer, having no difficulty making her way through the crowds of her home city.
When she was close enough to make conversation possible, she cleared her throat and asked, "Wherever did you come by those combs? They're fabulous."

A breath of relief escaped him, catching a glimpse of Men's braided hair. Jyses froze, paused, before looking back a slight smile on his mouth. "Undrek'Thoz." He ran his fingers over the beaten gold. "I'm Kai." He set his hands inside the sleeve of his kimono robe.

Trielnolu flashed a brilliant smile.
She wasn't as beautiful as her cousins, but she was the second daughter of the head of the Baen'duis family, and that made up for not being so beautiful. She didn't usually allow that to bother her, except in the presence of her cousin Shrisin, who she tried to see as little as possible.
She tossed her head to dispell distasteful thoughts of her cousins. "Some people call me Tri-no. What brings you to Llurth Dreir? Business or something else?"
The kimono he wore was interesting, too, though not really a style Tri-no cared for, as it did not display figures well on either a male or a female body. Tri-no preferred to be able to appreciate a fine figure with ease. Still, Kai wore his kimono well.

Jyses return the brilliant smile with a smaller one, nodding slightly politely to the female. Tri- no a shorten name certainly not her full one. "Business at the moment. I'm an training with my mentor..he believed that this would be a place to visit and learn more about others customs." Aka spy and gather intelligence.
"I also have a mm acquaintance in this area. An young warrior by the name of Valyrr. Perhaps you know of him?”
