Meet the Character:

Name: Nana Minami
Age: 15
Birthday: October 15, 1992
Bio: Nana was a very angered child when she was younger. Her parents are still married, but they live apart due to her father owning a second house. Her mother loves her father, but just refuses to let the second house go to waste. Because of their split/split relationship, she refused to talk to either of her parents because she thought it was a divorce. She never sees her father anyway, due to the fact that he leaves much early in the morning. Besides a past life intro, let's get to the real stuff. Due to Nana's refusal of her parents, she needed love from someone. So by pulling to "I am a sad little girl, HELP ME!" attitude, a boy reached out his hand. His name was Clint, and he was Nana's first and for her, only love. Things went on for a while, they enjoyed each other's company and did everything a normal teenage couple would do. Then one tiny afternoon, as the sun drove above the horizon, Clint wasn't there today. He was gone, out with his father somewhere, and Nana understood that. But as she strolled around her room like out of boredom, she came to see that some of her valuables were missing. The gold bracelet she had received from her father at young, gone. The cashmere gloves that her mother painstakingly sew and conjure up for her was, gone. And the beautiful necklace that was made custom for her by her love, GONE. Nana panicked, where had it gone? She searched everywhere, everywhere she could think of. Finally, the back door slammed. She ran toward it, to see who it was. As she ran, her eyes just caught the necklace around an unknown woman's neck, and she paused. The unknown girl just laughed, with Nana's love behind her. Nana just watched, as her boyfriend trailed off in front. Flinching, her boyfriend looked at Nana. He just made a bleak smile and said, "Oh, hey Baby. I thought you were going to be out today. So I thought you didn't mind me using your house." All Nana did was slap his face, and yell the words, "CHEATER!" Now upon her new revenge, her doll has become a child. Nana takes the status of a mother now, caring for her new young daughter Greed.

Malevolent Chapter 1:
There is No Such Thing as 'Equivalent Exchange'

Don't Mention His Name! was the thought that ran through my mind as I paced the hallways of a typical school day. I was already p*ssed, so ticked off that yesterday night I had made a doll replica of him. Everything to the exact copy of him. The green eyes replaced with green buttons so I could tear them out anytime. Creamy White hair in which I could tug and pull with the pleasure of. A mustard yellow streak to snip anytime. A binding collar to prevent breathing. And my favorite part of all, the pins through the limbs. Pinned underneath the limbs of my oh so ex-beloved resides small crumpled dollar bills. To show that, if he were to ever, EVER touch currency again, a sword of pain would ripple him so. But worst of all, I carried it around with me. Everywhere. Even to school. Somehow, I couldn't be torn from it. It was to me my stuffed stress ball, my tiny punching bag.
But after thoughts rambling through my mind, I entered my next class, Debating Class. The teacher was a substitute rather than my regular teacher who's name I could never remember. but I didn't care. I just wanted this wretched day to end. Even though it was a sub, he gave us a subject to debate against. First, he picked two students. He first picked Jeref, the best debator in my class, and then me picked none other than me. I sighed, but thought it of a good way to blow steam off my mind. He flipped through a notebook, and picked the worst topic which made me madder. He wanted us to debate over the statement, "Equivalent Exchange should be the rule that each the every individual should follow when submersing in a deal, trade, or entering into coupleship." Coupleship...That what was blew my fuse.
But now was the time for debating. Jeref went on and on about how the statement was true, Blah Blah Blah. But when it was my turn, I tightened by jaw and shouted:

"Whoever thought of that bullcrap is insane! Equivalent Exchange is a lie that the humans of this Earth pressured into others mind to seem like every was fair. Well, nothing is fair! Life isn't fair! People surged this thought to make everything calm a collected, well those people are hypocrites! They lie, cheat, steal, and abuse you to take everything you have and leave you to squall in what you have left. You gain nothing out of the people who you are suppose to trust. He will lie to you, take everything you hand, and spit lies back in your face. You might give them your heart, but he would only give you the finger."

After that moment, the steam of my mind seemed to fly out my ears, and releasing my anger was the best thing ever. But the worst thing of all, the moment I finished, everyone eyed me as if I was a crazy lunatic who didn't take their pills. But after that moment their, I could understand them.

Disgusting Chapter 2:
Take Take Take Take Tear
Tear Tear Tear

Because of an embarrassing blurt out at school the other day, I had decided to stay home. A vacation was what I needed, so I thought. Only because I was allowing all this anger to go to my head and not having enough time to focus and get through with it. I had not payed attention to the little doll I had sewed up and thrown aside. It was still waiting in my bag like some loyal mutant dog. I flicked her out of my bag when I had to finish some projects for school. She was placed, matter of fact, thrown on my computer desk. It was a bad idea to throw her their in the first place, it angered me more. But I decided to ignore it, and concentrate more upon finishing my projects. But as I drew and scribbled, the lifeless eyes of the doll dug into me like a spike through a vampire's heart. It was intimidating. But I thought to myself, how in the world? How could a doll without a soul have such an influence on me? The eyes dug into me still, and I couldn't take it anymore, and I burst.
The pins that stuck to it's arm were pushed in deeper, the choker was tightened insignificantly. I wanted the poor thing to suffer under my wake. I honestly did not know if I was torturing it, or if it felt pain whatsoever. But it felt grand. I got to release anger, and rather than hitting someone, I had my own little beat 'em up rag doll. But as the pieces of hurt dug into her more, she made no foul. She just stood there, bearing it all like a lifeless shell.
I finished with her and through her on the bed somewhere not really caring. I continued with my work upon projects, ignoring the fact she was even in my presence.

Atrocious Chapter 3:
Face With the "Emotion"

Greed. It is the word that's represent the unbanished feeling of always wanting. The feeling that just feels great everytime you obtain something, and diminished everytime something is lost. This feeling, the cousin of jealousy, was what had become my worst enemy.
I had decided to keep my vacation for an extra couple of days. The excuse that I had sprained an ankle was fine. And forging a note was quite easy with the fact my father was a doctor. The entire house stayed silent, dawned in the after sunlight that had burned through the window paine onto the floor of my room. All schoolwork was finished, and nothing seemed to become of entertainment as I dragged through the house bored. Greed, my dear doll, lay spread out on the kitchen tables, pins sticking out of her straight from her three limbs.
Of course, her existence was ignored, as I searched through the fridge for some nourishment. But with the fact that the only good food was the lunch I had prepared for my father for him to take to work. Because of this, I had to venture out of the house for food, money clutched in one pocket, the useless doll pinned in the other. Tasteful food was a good walk from my home, and because the car was missing, walking was my only sense of travel. As the walk of hunger began, so did the nearing of a regrettable outcome.
A good twenty minute walk finished with the reaching of my destination. A small Deli which sells the best Double Layer sandwiches was what had caught my attention. This deli laid right across the street from a park where me and him would hangout and watch others have fun. The memories of those times recalled, and it hurt my chest and abdomen. Finally, the purchase of my elusive sandwich was complete. As I turned the corner of the Deli to make my way to the exit, I watched something that burned my heart more.
He was standing outside the window of the Deli, outside at the park where we used to hang out. Out in his arms laid a unknown girl I did not know. She was sporting one of my necklace's he had given me for my birthday and taken back. She also sported the sweater he used to wear and I always used to sleep in. From where I stood, I couldn't budge. I couldn't move my muscles.
At that moment, I picked the Greed from my pocket, and clenched her in my hands. My heart raced as this feeling over collapsed any other. In my mind, I wanted to push that girl out of the way. I wanted to rip that necklace off her neck, tie upon mines, and wrap myself in the warmth of his old sweater in his arms once again. This feeling was unnatural, this feeling was Greed. I stopped, with Greed clenched in my hands once again. I just stared at her down in my two palms. The Greed in me grew, I wanted everything, everything, even her. She was already mines, but she wasn't enough. And after that initial though, everything went blank.

Grotesque Chapter 4:
The One to Care For Me

I awoke the next morning, the sunlight scarring my eyes with it's tender glow. I just walked up to the window, and shunned the sunlight away with the curtains. The house laid quiet with a soft hum, not heard. I looked around, no one was home, and I had woken up quite late. I guess it seemed to be a weekend. Suddenly, the memories of yesterday stabbed my spine and abdomen tightly. I clenched my stomach, it hurt quite much. The only thing I thought to myself was "Why? Why did they have to return as soon as I woke up." As I entered into the kitchen, to clear my mind and get something to eat, I also turned my attention to my old pants from yesterday. I was just sporting my pajamas during that time, so I decided to check them before they were sent to laundry. I trotted to my room, where I searched the pockets of my pants. There was some money, a peice of paper, and that's about it. But then I came to think, where was Greed? Where was the doll I had made? I climbed around the room, looking for where it was. I couldn't find her anywhere. She was gone, did I drop her in the Deli yesterday? Maybe Dad threw her out? My mind and stomach began to pain as I searched, and searched. I couldn't find her, and slumped on my bed. I guess she was gone forever...so I thought. As I laid down on my bed, a soft wheezing came to order. I looked to my left and noticed a small 'thing' as you would say sleeping next to my pillow head.
I quickly jerked back, nearly taking my pillow to hit it. But the 'thing' awoke, wiping its ever green eyes than staring at me. I nearly lost my breath during that moment. It was Greed, and she was moving. I didn't know whether to feel faint or happiness, but I just stared at her. She just yawned again as she said, "Mornin'" and hopped her way toward the kitchen. I just followed her, and thinking to myself was this some kind of utter dream, or was someone playing a trick on me? By the time I had reached the kitchen, Greed was sitting by my bowl. He legs sprawled out, sitting next to the spoon, her green eyes staring at me in the mid silence. I didn't know what to do, so all I did was take a seat and watch her. I didn't know what in the world she was doing, but she was doing something. The first thing she did was take her way to the cereal box, she had tried to climb up it, but slipped back down in the process. She then ran to the back on it and pushed the other end, making it fall and cereal spill onto the table, the floor, and most into my bowl. She then crawled up the milk carton. She was light, but she was heavy enough to spill the milk into the bowl. The milk had almost did a curving motion and spill into the table, though most enter the bowl. I watch her, and she pushes the carton back up as she lightly lifts the spoon with the some kind of strength she has. I just took it from her, and bent my head over in a smile and took it from her. In my opinion, during the quiet morning, I had a new mother. Some new person to take care of me for now on. It felt awkward, and almost...nostalagic as I watched Greed climb her self to the rim of my bowl and watch me finish. I had not spoken to her, but as I watched her, her eyes were full of life. I couldn't explain it myself, but it had amazed me.
I replied with a soft, "Thank you." a small smile gleaming at her. She had just smiled, as she climbed up once more, this time up my pajama sleeve. She stood on my shoulder, and moved my hair out of the way as she gave almost a 'Doll Hug' in my opinion. She just whispered into my ear, "Done Yet?" like any mother would. And I just smiled as her and replied, "Yes, I am."

Blissful Chapter 5:
Just a Day Together, You and Me

[[:'D Adjective Title Change, Hoorah~!]]

School had started again for me, so I had to go. As I entered the building, it was the same average thing. I would walk pass the front office, swing in for a smile from the secretary and hand in my forged note for an excuse, then head to class. But this time, company had seemed to join me on my walk to school. But honestly, I actually refused to take her with me. Back at home, I had told her I couldn't take her with me, in case there was some cause of her being found out about, I told her no. But with those green eyes of sad and resentment, I couldn't say no. She had climbed into my bookbag, and I told her to stay there until school was fully over. But of course, no young one does as they are told. As I walked down the hallway, watching and smiling back at all the fake-friendly faces who lied as if they cared about my wellbeing, I stepped into my classroom. A new term had start, and I had to switch homerooms. I smiled at the teacher who was my math teacher, and then looked down at my bookbag. My book bag scrunged from movements on the inside, and I pulled the book bag up on my lap and looked inside. Greed sprung out like a jack-in-the-box, and looked at me once more with almost pleading eyes. "Darkness, scary!" she said, as she pushed herself up more for a hug on my face. I just bent my head down, and pushed her back into the swelling darkness of my bookbag.
"I know, I know..." I said as I tried to reassure her with a helpful smile. "Try to bare it for some time?" I added again, with Greed trying to push herself more into the light that filled the classroom. Student were beginning to pour in, and I had to keep her out of the sight of others. "I will speak to you later. And here use this." I said once more to her before pushing her down and flipping on my MP3. The light filled the bookbag, and the low tone of music filled the area of my bag. "Use this...until the end of class." Greed nodded, and dove back into the bookbag, her arms folded across her chest as she bent down to wait a whole hour and thirty minutes. But as I pushed my book bag down, I came to see my math teacher standing above me, his big brown eyes and broad face examining every bit of me. "Miss Minami..." he said, as the words slipped passed his tongue. "No cell phones allowed during class! Hand it over!" I just retorted back, I didn't want him to find out about Greed! I clenched my bookbag more to my chest and replied back a simple, "No."
His eyes dug into me more. I clenched it back with a glare, but he was quick enough to grab my bookbag out of my hand and unzip in open. "Ah, Ha! Now what is this!" he said, a slight gasp escaping his mouth. He pulled out my MP3 player, uncoiled the headphone's wire around it, and placed it into his pocket. "Thank you very much Miss Minami, you can get this item back of yours after class." he said as she thursted the bag back into my hands as he walked toward the board, writing numbers and formulas on it. I unzipped the bag and looked inside, there laid Greed, looking up at me again with the eyes of pleading. "Try...Be strong..." I told her once more, before zipping the bag tight. Greed nodded once more, before entering back into the sweltering darkness of the bookbag. As my math teacher was about to begin class, a loud screaming came to order. And I had recognized this scream immediately, it was Greed. I didn't kow the problem, but I turned myself toward the back door and said, "It is coming from the Chem Lab!" The teacher and all of the students besides me ran toward the back door to the Lab. I was the only one left, so I quickly wrote a little note...and opened my bookbag. Greed popped out, and jumped on my face giving me a hug. "Momma, Imma, Imma scared of the Darkness!" she said, as she latched onto my face. "It's okay." I said as I coaxed her off of my face and onto the seating of my shoulder. "We can go now...Go back home."
Greed nodded, but before I began, she tugged her small arm up at me, pinching my ear lobe in a tender fashion. She mostly did this for attention. "Hm?" I asked, poking my ear toward her. "What is it?" She just clasped her small arms for limbs around my ear and whispered inside, "Can we...go play? I wanna...I wanna watch the doggies run." I smiled, as I exited from one of the fire exits, the staff of the school not seeing me escape. "Sure Ge-Ge." I smiled, giving her a little nickname in the process.

Blissful Chapter 6:
Just a Day Together, You and Me Part. 2
[Emotions Run Wild!]

[[ Haha. xD I had my little cousin come on the computer and draw something on paint. He drew a rainbow dog, since I asked him to, to include in this journal entry. I would call is a small easter egg. :'D A little extra to see when you read this. I just wrote in Greed afterwards, to act like Greed drew it. :3
[Greed's Rainbow Doggy!] ]]

Ditching school was bad, really bad. I had already missed a couple of days due to a lie, but for the happiness of Greed, it was well worth it. Greed laid sitting on my shoulder, swinging her legs as I walked over out the door of the school. I had a ways to walk to reach the park, where he and I used to hang out. It was the closest park to my school, but since I had nothing to travel with still, walking was my way to go. Walking down the pavement of the parking lot and onto the sidewalk, Greed clasped her tiny limb around my earlobe once more. "Hm?" I asked, smiling at what she had to say. "Momma, lookie!" she said, pointing toward a small dog that was being walked by its owner. "Mommie, I want that doggie!" she added. I just smiled once more, and replied. "No can do Ge-Ge. That dog already has an owner. Plus, it would be quite dangerous to get you close to a dog that size, you could get hurt." Greed just stayed silent, until we walked passed the dog, and continued our walk toward the park.
With the skidding of my sneakers against the half wet/half dry pavement, I looked up at the clouds. They were cloudy, with a touch of sunlight bursting through the thickness of said clouds. "It looks like it will rain sooner than I thought..." I thought as I shielded my eyes from the sunlight. Greed had clasped my hand at that moment, and I accidentally flung her onto the floor from the hand she had gripped. She got flung, flung to a grassy area, where she had landed neatly landing on her bottom. "Greed!" I called, and she sprang up in a good sitting position, looking up at me again with those eyes of green. "Are you okay?" I asked, looking down at her when I had reached by her. "Imma Fine!" she replied, and patted my knee as she pointed toward the inward area, "Momma, doggies!" she said, pointing at them with a smile laced on her face. She attempted to run over to them, but I stopped her mid-step. "Greed, no can do. You said you wanted to watch the doggies remember?" I told her, stroking her ivory locks of yarn. "We don't need to have to getting hurt."
Greed nodded, and both me and her walked to the our space of the park, taking a seat and both watching the furry mammals catch Frisbees and squeaky toys. But to prevent her from running after the running animals, I stalled her with some crayons and paper. I gave her the idea of drawing a dog, a dog she has always wanted in her lifetime. As I rested on the grass, nearly dozing off, I felt a tug on one of my strands of hair. I turned my head sideways, to discover Greed, with a picture in front of her. "Lookie Momma!" she cheered, holding up the picture I told her to draw. She had drawn a mismatched rainbow dog, sprawled out with scribbles and coloring. Of course not a dog like that existed, but I patted her on the head and took the drawing from her, folding in neatly before placing it into my blouse pocket. "Beautiful!" I said as I looked at her. "What would you name such a pretty dog?"
With her green eyes once more looking at the background, then at me, she smiled and replied, "Greed!" I just looked at her puzzled. Name a dog Greed? Odd name, but this was what Greed wanted. "Okay then." I replied, looking at her. "You dog shall be named Greed." Greed just cheered enthusiastically, before yawning slightly in a disgruntled figure. "You tired?" I asked, looking down at her. She just nodded, and I picked her up, and cradled her. But I came to see why she was tired, it was pitch black outside. I guess we had stayed outside for quite a while. As I strolled down the pavement, lined only by the light of the side lamps, I looked down at Greed. "Did you enjoy today?" I asked, looking down at her. She just nodded once more with a sleepy, "Yes..." as she cuddled herself within my arms. I just smiled, such a memory to have. A day with Greed, a Day Together, Just You and Me.
But as I strolled, I watched the stores that lined my wake. They were still open, even this late at night. As I walked, I noticed a small pawn shop. It was littered with goods out in the store window, wanting to attract customers in. As I could tell, it was close to closing time, I just stood there for a minute watching the items laid out in case I wanted to take something hope with me on that wonderful day. As my eyes lined the area of trinkets, something caught my eyes. They were a pair of blue cashmere gloves, laid sprawled out on the table. I remember the same kind of gloves my mother had made for me when I had to go to a dance, I told her I would pay her back someday when she made it for me. As I eyed the stitching more, I noticed something caught my eye. I noticed a mis-placed cross stritching on the gloves, and gasped in the process. Those were my gloves standing in the front window. I looked some more, and noticed a tiny baby gold bracelet set right next to them. It was engraved with the words, "To my tiny one." which my father had custom made for me when I was young. That was my bracelet too.
Suddenly, rage caught my thoughts. I stood there, shaking with my arms clenched with Greed. I couldn't understand what was going on. This feeling of wanting came to mind, this feeling of taking, the rage of stealing. My hand shook, until I dropped Greed, and pressed against the window of the shop. Greed hit the floor, and looked up at me, scared of her tiny self. "Momma!" she bellowed, but her words couldn't get to me. "Momma!" she called again, as she hands began to beat against the window of the shop. "Momma!" she called again, as my hands hit the window more, louder and harder with each striking motion. My hands burned with the sensation of hurt, but I striked the window again. "Give me my things!" I bellowed, as I beat my hands against the window. But for some reason, the people didn't hear me. I banged my hands harder, as the words of Greed echoed through, "Momma, what are you doing?" I ignored her, and banged my fists again crying out the words, "Give me back my stuff!" one more time. This time, the glass shattered, and the alarm of the store went off. I grappled my items and several more, my hands slightly stained with my own blood do to glass chips breaking skin. Last thing I remember, was the red and blue lights of something, and the pleading voice of Greed one more time before again, just like my old breakout, to nothingness.

Greed's Malicious Adventures! Chapter 1:
Meeting Of a Many [Roleplay]

User Image

[[Please Note! This has nothing to do with the storyline of the Journal. :3 It would actually take part as a side story. Almost like a TV Show Filter. xD]]

THe rain of last night had finished and gone, leaving behind the dew upon the grass and the leaves of the backyard. The crushing of dried leaves and plants came from underfoot, as Greed poked her limbs amongst the weeds and grass of the backyard. "Momma is out today... she thought to herself, looking around. So I can have fun today! She wandered here and their, the dew sticking to her yarn-like hair, and dirt scrounging her feet. She didn't know where she was, but she was having fun!
Shawn pushed aside the prickly limbs of a bush as he climbed through it, unsure of where he was or how he got there. He really didn't care. Shawn then noticed a pale skinned, green-eyed todoller who seemed to be enjoying herself. Curiously, he approached her.
Hearing the crushing of more leaves, Greed turned to she another like herself. She titled her head slightly, at the curiosity of the other Todoller. She wanted to speak, but her terror of the other taking her bills confounded her. "Mine!" she shouted, covering the dollars in her arms.
Shawn stared at the one who looked like him, curious as ever. "Yours?" he asked. He looked at the two green pieces of paper she was holding. "Pretty!" he stated as he pointed at the pieces of paper with his would-be finger.
Greed stared at him some more. As she could see, his was her first time meeting someone other than Sam. "Whatta's your name?" she asked, looking at him. Her eyes stared at him, green with the brightness of curiosity.
"M'name Shawn." he replied. Shawn rested his chin on his palm for a moment as he pondered what to say next. Oh yeah. "What's your name?" he asked anxiously.
"Greed. Imma Greed." she replied back, her voice broken with bad English. Walking closer to the Vudoll, she titled her head in curiously. "Whatcha doin' here?" she asked, moving the yarn out of her face.
Shawn pondered this question for a moment. Why? Oh yeah! "Mommy's visitin' her fwend. I snuck outta car an' nowiced hole in fence."
Greed just looked at Shawn. "She'sa out? My Momma is out too! At this someplace called 'Shcool.' I wonder where this place is at?" she said back at Shawn. They then turned, running a short distance before turning back. "Shawn, do you wanna come into my house?" she had asked. She had left the back door open, kinda hard to figure out how Greed even reached to open the door.
"Mmmhmmm... Okay. I'hope mommy no gets scawed." He nervously followed Greed, turning back every couple seconds, as if worried. Oh well. She'll get over it. I just wanna have fun right now.
Walking to the door, Greed pulled it open, itself creaking in the process. Eying inside, it was dark, really dark. Greed was too short to reach the light, so she had to deal coming outside with just the light that pierced the kitchen. "C'mon, with me." she whispered in Shawn's direction, beckoning him forward. She knew this house like her own dollar bills. Every time Nana went to school, she would wander the house, looking at everything. Most of the time she would pull things out and make a mess, and Nana would scold her everytime to came to the mess.
Shawn eagerly followed Greed, with an excited smile on his face. He had never been to another house before and he had never gone on an 'adventure'. "Where we goin'?" He asked, eager for a response.
"There." she pointed, down the hall, to an open doorway. Technically, she was pointing to the bathroom, for some reason. "There is a pool in there." she said, running herself down the hallway toward it.
"Pool?" What is a pool? Shawn followed curiously, but a little unsure.
Greed just just smiled, as she pointed to a large white machine in front of her. "That is the swirly machine. Don't go in there!" She then skuddled up the side of the sink, feel to the middle, clicked the latch down, and opened the faucet. "This is a Pool!" she sad, beckoning Shawn to climb up. The water ran lightly, filling the sink with water. The water curved with motion as it filled to the top.
Shawn looked a little concerned. "Will it hurt?" he asked, nudging Greed to get in first.
Greed smiled, before jumping herself in to the water. The splash was large, and caused water to spring from the sink onto the floor, wetting the carpet mats and the tiles underneath. "It doesn't hurt at all. C'mon in!" she said, trying to coax him into the water.
"You done this before?" Shawn dipped his foot into the water... It feels.... wet... He slowly lowered himself into the water. Mommy says I could shrink.
Greed smiled, before coming out. The walked slowly. The water that her tiny body had soaked up caused her to become heavy. "Uh-huh!" she smiled as him. "Just'a don't stay in long!"
Uh oh... Shawn raised himself out of the water, hardly able to lift himself. Then he fumbled off of the sink and onto the floor.
"Uhhhh!" Greed said as she climbed down to assist Shawn. "Are'a you okay?" she asked, her eyes focused on him. She wiggled herself a little more, to get the dampness out of her hair, the water splattering everywhere once again.
"Oh, I'mma okay." Shawn stands up. He suddenly gets an angry-ish look on his face and he kicks the sink. "There!" I am satisfied now. He attempts to squeeze the water out of his water-absorbent body.
Greed nodded, than turned herself toward a towel draped on the back on the bathroom door. She tugged on it a couple of times, and it fell on top of her. "Here, use this to dry'a off!" she called, moving the towel from over her head and wiping her other arm.
Shawn wrapped the towel around himself and rolled on the floor to squeeze the water out of himself. "Dat's better." Then he tried wrapping his hair in the towel like he saw his mom do.
Squeezing more water out of her hair and arms, she looked at Shawn roll. "What'cha wanna do now?" she asked, draping the towel over her head once more to dry her yarn-like hair.
"Hmmm... I dunno!" Shawn shrugged his shoulders. "What is there ta do?"
"I know'a I know!" she said, running out the door. "Let'sa go to my Momma's Room!"
"Okay!" Shawn eagerly followed.
Entering into the vacancy of the room, Greed looked around. The room stayed dim with some light, only to be shunned away by the curtains. Greed climbed up to the desk, and walked along the make-up components and lipstick. Siddling passed them, she knocked them down, each one clattering onto the floor. "C'mon up!" she said, poking her hand at an open blush compartment.
Shawn looked at Greed in confusion. "What is it?" he asked.
" I don't know..." she replied. "Would you like'a to ask him?"
"Uh sure..." Shayne walked up to the makeup curiously, unsure of what to do.
Greed nudged him forward, poking at his arm. "Go ahead, ask him..." she said.[

Focused Chapter 7:
An odd...Misunderstanding

Finally, I awakened, the streaming light from above echoing through my eyesight. Was I in heaven? No, couldn't be, I couldn't die so quickly! I jerked forward, and what I noticed brought me back to reality. I wasn't it the heavens above, I was in a hospital room. There were bandages wrapped around my very hands, and a bunch of wires and so on leading to the monitor beside my bed. I haven't really been in a hospital before, so I wondered how I came. I know I am healthy, well...I think I am. But hat had really bewildered me so, was the bandages around my very hands. I unfolded them, and there lied the healing scars of the scratches. My memory jumped back into me know, and I stared at my opened ones once more.
I remembered now. I had broke into the pawn shop that night with Greed when I had agreed with her that I would take her out to see the dog park. I had saw the items that belonged to me, and went wild at the sight. I guess that is what happened, not everything was clear at that moment when I first woke up. At that sudden moment, the doorknob began to jiggle, and the door flipped open. "Miss Minami, you have a visitor." called the voice, and I just nodded in response. A small girl ran in, about the age of eight, and jumped at the side of hospital bed and clammered me into a hug. "Momma, Momma! Are you okay?!" said the little girl. I just looked at her wide eyed in response. I noticed that voice instantly, it was Greed...And she was moving!
I just looked at her one more time, and she looked back up at me with those ever green eyes. "I...How....How...How in the world?!" I said, stammering in the process. "Momma?" replied Greed, tilting her head in confusion. "What's wrong?" Again, I shot another look at her and ask, "How are you...Human?" Greed just smiled, her green eyes concentrated upon mines. "I don't know!" she said, her smile still laced upon her face. "But whatever happened, I am glad! So now I can be like Momma! I can really be her child!" I just looked at her...she become my child? I just looked at her, and smiled. "I am....a little too young to be your mother." I said. "But I will be your mother in private. But if anyone asks, you are my adopted sister who used to belong to a family for was a rock band." I added, running my hand through her ivory colored hair. "People would find it odd for someone as young as you running around with odd colored hair." Greed just nodded. I could tell from her look that she didn't understand what a "rock band" was, or why we had to tell her this, but just agreed to it. Next thing I know, Greed grabbed my hands. "How are your hands feelin' Momma?" asked Greed, looking at me with worryment in her eyes. "I;m fine...I'm fine..." I said as I nodded at her and patted her own the head. "C'mon, let's go sign out and go home." I added, getting out of bed and working myself toward the dog. " 'Kay!" she replied, and walked out with me.
As we walked down, we both we confronted my a police officer, standing next to him was an old man, smaller and chubbier than I. "Officer, Officer! That'a is'a the woman'a who'a broke my store'a window'a!" he said pointing a finger at me, with one of the worst accents I ever heard. I just looked at him, and from my impression, he was the store owner of the pawn shop. Greed hid behind me, either scared of nervous of the man. The police officer joined him, and asked, "Is this right ma'am?" I just looked at them, not really sure how to answer. Finally, Greed tugged on my shirt and asked, "Momma, are you in trouble?" The man's eyes grew large, then turned to me and asked, "Woman'a is that'a your'a little girl'a?" I had no way to answer, so I just nodded. His eyes grew large, almost like he was struck with guilt. "I'ma Sorry Officer'a. But'a this woman'a has a child'a. I can't take'a money'a away from'a mother'a who has'a child. And'a I'ma sorry'a." the man said to the officer than to me. The officer just nodded, tipped his hat at me, and replied. "Okay then ma'am, sorry for your time." And they both walked out of the hospital.
I just looked at them puzzled, with Greed as the same impression. "What happened Momma?" she asked me, puzzled. "Nothing Greed..." I replied to her with a smile. "But you just saved us there." Greed didn't understand, so she just shrugged her shoulders and continued on. We signed out, and as soon as we left the exit, Greed grabbed my hand. "Are you going home Momma?" she asked, tilting her head. "Yep Greed." I replied, smiling at her. "Momma..." she added on, a tune in her voice. "Can we get a rainbow colored doggy when we get home?" I just giggled a last time and replied, "Yea, sure Ge-Ge. Just give me some time to decide."

SUDDENLY! Chapter 8:
Geniuses Take One Step At A Time

Sitting at the kitchen table one afternoon, was just me and Greed. Silence had filled the kitchen, resulting in no speech between us. I read the newspaper abruptly, and Greed savored the wonderful taste of peanut butter and apples for the first time. The clanking of a plate against the table, only proved she wanted seconds. "More Please!" she said politely, holding up the plate in my direction. "Hehe, okay Ge-Ge." I replied, picking the plate out of her hands and walking to the counter to chop up the apples and smear some peanut butter. As I washed the apples, the drips of water soaking into my still on bandages, I smiled and turned my cheek to Greed. "So Greed, what do you think about school?" I asked, as the swung her tiny legs at the edge of her seat. "School? What's that?" she replied, still swinging her legs. A short pause caught myself, as I chopped the apple slices up and smeared peanut butter on each of them. "Well..." I said, as I turned and placed the plate in front of her, then taking a seat in the opposite seat in front of her. "It is a place where you can go learn, make new friends, and grow up. It is very important for every little boy or girl. So when they grow up, they could make a living in life, and even make a family or there own." I added. Greed just looked at me, chewing on some apple slices. She went to speak, but I wagged my finger at her. This meaning, no chewing with your mouth open. She obeyed, and swallowed the food down before talking, "You mean like...Writing and Science?" I just nodded in response. Greed just crinkled her nose in protest, and replied to my nod, "Well...I don't wanna go!"
I glared at her, giving her the parental look all little children despises. "You ARE going to school," I replied to her comment. Her eyes met mines, filled with the pouting of youth. "Why?!" she yelled, looking at me with the pouting turning to anger. "Why do I have to leave Momma?!" Again, the words she spoke were like daggers to the heart. The seeped into the sinking feeling I had. I cupped my hand over hers, and looked at her once more. "Ge-ge," I renounced, calling her by her nickname. "Don't say such things, I will never leave you, abandon you, throw you out. You should know that. I am just doing what is best for my Ge-Ge. Please, reconsider? It would be best too overall. You need an education, for yourself to grow up." The retorted glare Ge-Ge had given me before disappeared, the her normal eyes appeared. "Okay Momma." she replied, and a smile was brought to her face.
Finally just realizing it, I turned to Ge-Ge once more. "You didn't say Math in the list you were naming...Why?" Greed just turned to me and smiled, "I like Math! Numbers are fun too!" I smiled at her, at least she was learning something. A small grin coming to my face, I wanted to test her knowledge. "C'mon Greed," I said, calling to her. "Let's go answer some math questions."
Greed just smiled at me once more, following me into the living room. I took a seat on the sofa, and Greed stood behind the coffee table, her hands behind her back and her legs straight as if she was getting interpreted. "Okay Greed....What is...2+2?" I asked first looking at her. Quickly she replied, "Four." I smiled at her, she knew addition. "What is...4+6?" I added. "Ten." she said simply. This was the start of our little test, and the speech of number flew back and fourth.
"10-1?"
"Nine."
"10+2?"
"Twelve."
"10+10?"
"20."
"Uh...A little harder...2x4?"
"Eight."
"Heh good! You know multiplication! 10x1?"
"Tennnn~."
"Hmm...10x5?"
"Fifty..."
"Okay, a little harder...100x4?"
"400."
"Wow...Interesting. 100/25?"
"Fourrrr...."
"Hmm...You seem to be good. Since your great in all simple questions, let's test your knowledge...You might need paper for this one. Uh...452x6540?"
Greed stood there for a couple of seconds, before smiling and replying. "Two million...Eight Hundred...No! Nine Hundred and Fifty-Six Thousand, and Eighty." I quickly looked at her, was it a guess? I quickly beckoned her to bring me a calculator. She did, and I submitted the number in. It read:
2956080. She was correct, and my jaw just dropped. What was Greed reading? My eyes just turned to her, and she smiled as she swung her legs at the edge of the seat.

Embarrassing Chapter 9:
Starting of School

[[This is from Greed's point of view~, Enjoy! ]]

All I remembered was being dragged across lot of the front yard, Momma hustling over to the waiting school bus. "Okay Ge-Ge! Time to go to school!" she panted, patting my head. "Here are the forms, just give them to your homeroom teacher, and say today is your first day." I just smiled, and replied, "Okay Momma!" She smiled once more, before lightly pushing me into the bus. "Now I have to get to school too. I will meet you back in the house an hour after 2:45. During that time, stay with the neighbors, so I know your safe." she added, and I crawled into the bus. I nodded once more, as Momma ran her way to school. With two steps into the school bus, the first thing I eyed was the bus driver. She was a big fat woman, with curly hair and bright brown eyes. "Oh Hello there!" she said in my direction, smiling at me with yellowish colored pearly whites. "What is your name dear?" I just turned to her, and smiled, crinkling my nose from the stench of her breath. "My name...is Greed." I said, as I walked toward the back of the bus. Her face cringed. Was it because of my name, or the utter rudeness I just portrayed. The line of students watched me, each eying me with there eyes. "Um....Hello....Hello." I called to each one that eyed me, and they just looked at me as if I did something wrong. I took a seat randomly, and got prodded on my back. "Um...excuse me, but someone already has this seat..." the young girl said, her glasses microscoping her eyes. "Um...So?" I said back, in a tone that would most of the time get me scolded at. "What I am saying is, move your butt!" she retorted, pushing the glasses on her face to prevent it from falling. I just glared at her, and replied back, "Fine then, Four Eyes!" in a loud voice which echoed through the bus. I reached down and picked up my book bag by my seat. The giggling from around me turned to laughter, and I wondered why. The other students around me were laughing hysterically, from what I said. The girl just glared at me, and tears began to sprout from her eyes. I stood there, the guilt in me grew, but before I knew it, I stumbled forward.
The bus came to a halt, and the fat bus driver yelled, "Okaaayyyyy! Everybody out!" The bus clammered as several others grabbed there things and ran out the bus. The last of us was me and the girl. She just gathered her lunch pail and bookbag, and glared at me once more as she exited the bus. I was the last to get off, and walked my way toward the school, my bookbag, lunch, and forms in hand.
I wandered into the building, and I knew...I was lost. I quickly spun myself over to a side door, where adults were walking in and out with paperwork in hand. I skiddled passed them, and walked over to the desk where another woman was filing paperwork. "Um...Excuse me?" I called, not able to reach my head over the desk since I was too short. "Can you help me?" The voice of the woman called, "Sure!" and turned to meet someone. She just bent her head over and looked around and continued her filing, shaking her head. "Um...excuse me? Down here!" I called, and the woman bent her head over to spy my short self calling toward her. "Oh well...Hello there, do you need help little girl?" she said toward me.
"Yes, I do! Could you redirect me toward room...107?" I asked. She just pointed down the hall. I gathered my thing and walked in that direction, following the rows of open doors. Finally, I walked inside. I was confronted by a teacher, with orangey-brown hair and piercing brown eyes like the bus driver's. "Oh well, Hello hello Hello!" she said, beckoning me in. I walked in, and skimmed my eyes across the array of students put together in groups. My eyes just caught a glimpse, but Little Miss Four Eyes was in my class too. I handed my teacher the forms, and she just placed them on her desk than clapped her hands together. "Okay Class!" she called quieting them down. "This is..." she paused, heading over to the forms to look at my name. "Ge-Ge Minami. She will be your new class mate. Have her welcome, and treat her nice. But now before we chose her seat, is there any questions someone will like to ask her?" I put up my finger, going to note the teacher that only Momma can call me Ge-Ge, but someone had already put up their hand to ask a question. The teacher pointed to him, and the boy asked, "Why is your hair like that? All white with yellow?" I just smiled at him, and repeated what Momma said. "My parent's are in a rock band." I replied, and the boy just put his arm down. "Okay, is everyone done asked questions? Okay! Let's seat you by Maya! And before I forget, I am Miss Madison!" I just nodded, and walked my way toward the table. I sat, and eyed that I was sitting a good distance away from Little Miss Four Eyes. In my mind, that was good, didn't want her making trouble again. Miss Madison eyed the class once more, before clapping her hands together and saying, "Okay Class! Let's start with some practice problems! I'm going to write some problems on the board, and I will pick some on you to answer them!" A smile came across my face. Math, finally! Something I can enjoy for a change! Miss Madison wrote several problems on the board, and after she was done, she placed down the chalk. "Okay first question!" she called, her voice high and perky. "What is 6+5?"
The class stirred. I guess no one knew the answer? I raised my hand ans smiled with a quick, "Eleven!" The class just eyed me, and so did Little Miss Four Eyes. Did I do something wrong? Miss Madison just smiled, and she ran to her desk and presented me with some golden colored shape. "G'job Ge-Ge!" she said, her voice ringing in my ears, "Here a gold star! Collect five and get a Lolly!" I just smiled as I pasted it into my paper. So that was why everyone was staring at me. They wanted the gold star. I guess I became the enemy for math time. Miss Madison ran back up to the board, and tapped her long skinny nail against the board. "Okay! What is 10+5?" she said, and my hand shot up. "Fifteen!" I smiled, and again was presented with the gleaming shiny shape. Practice time had went on for a while, and each problem was answered by yours truly. Even with the f stars I had, I wasn't given the opportunity to chose which flavor I wanted. I had to wait, for coloring time was next, then snack time. I swung my legs impatiently. I wanted that Lolly. But Miss Madison had issued coloring time, and pick Little Miss Four Eyes to pass out sheets of paper. When she neared me, she placed a white blank paper on my desk. But when I turned it over, some was written on it. It read:

"Don't get in my way! I am and WILL always be the smartest one in class! I hate you, go back to your old school!"

I just eyed the paper. It held many spelling errors, up top is just the revised version. Little Miss Four Eyes wanted trouble? Then we shall start trouble. I quickly flicked the paper back at her, and she opened it and read it. Tears began to fill her eyes again. Is what I wrote that mean? I guess so.

Embarrassing Chapter 10:
Starting of School Part 2
[But than Apologies!]

Why did I have to feel so guilty? Why did I have to feel sorry for a girl I didn't even know? The guilt grew inside me more, pounding inside my heart with each tear she wiped from her rose colored cheeks. Miss Madison was about to continue, but she turned to hear the sobbing of Little Miss Four Eyes. "Oh, my my my!" she said, turning toward her. "What is wrong dear? Why are you crying?" Little Miss Four Eyes turned to her, her eyes gilded with the wetness of cried eyes, "The new girl said something mean to me!" Miss Madison just looked from LMFE to me, in a puzzled reaction. "What did she say?" she asked, eying the girl's freckled face. "She said this!" she replied, thrusting the sheet of crumpled of paper I threw at her toward Miss Madison. Miss Madison eyed it, then took it from the girl's hands and gingerly uncrumpled the corners. Her eyes gazed at each scribble on unknown gibberish upon the paper, until she hesitated and looked in my direction. "Ge-ge Minami!" she halted, grabbing me by the hand and forcing me up. "We are going to go see the principal about this!" I was dragged forward, the grinding of my teeth sequencing with the tapping of my sneakers against the floor. Didn't she get it already? Only Momma can call me Ge-ge! At that moment, I would have retorted and pulled my hand back to run, but we were already at the office where I had met the secretary. I was pulled right passed her, into another room where a large man in formal wear greeted us, with a nod of pleasure. "Hello there." he said, beckoning us closer. "What can I do for you lovely ladies today?"
Miss Madison just propped the piece of paper in front of him, and glared, "Take a look at the nonsense she has written!" The man just smoothed out the paper, propped on his eyeglasses, and read the paper silently to himself. "Well, well." he said, looking in my direction without a smile nor a frown. "Where did you learn such words little girl?" he asked, as I was pushed forward by Miss Madison to make eye contact. "My Momma." I replied earnestly, for it was the truth. Momma had used those words all the time! So why couldn't I use it too? The principal shook his hand in a 'shoo' sort of way toward Miss Madison. She gasped, and the principal committed to his action once more. She left, and only I and the bearded old senior were left in the room. He walked back to his desk, and slipped on his reading glasses behind the poles of his ears. He was speechless for a moment, scrambling through some papers and forms before holding up one and reading the details it held. He turned, then smiled at me with large pearly whites. Pointing his finger over and wiggling it in a way to draw me closer, I paced toward him. "Hm?" I asked, looking at him, tilting my head in curiosity. "Ge-ge, you are good at Math...Yes?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. I nodded, and he just pulled some paper out and scribbled out something. "Answer that." he said, pushing toward me a simple multiplication problem. From what I can pull out, it read 532x45. "Twenty-Three Thousand, Nine Hundred and Forty." I replied quickly, and he just looked at me, wide eyed. "By Jones...." he replied, as he wrote it out on a calculator and stared at me once more, "You are right!"
I just smirked, "Of course! Math is my life!" He chuckled, and pushed some forms toward me. "Take these forms, and have either of your parents fill it out. This form is for accelerated students who think higher than average. I am nominating you for a spot into the program. Though I know for a fact you are getting it." he said, smiling toward me. He also said I could go home early, to rest my brain for the interview. I just smiled, but before I was about to leave, he whispered into my ear something grand, and I raced home to tell him.
I had another two hours until Momma came home. So I spent the time exploring the neighborhood. I got stared at often, people whispering to relatives and friends why a little girl is roaming the streets instead of being in school. My exploration ended, as the nearby clock shop dinged Three o' clock. "Time to go home." I said, as I wandered back to home, a five minute walk. But what I noticed, I have to run! Momma was just down the block! Running, I skidded against the grass and bushes, and finally made it into the back door before Momma could slide her key into the lock. The door clicked open, and Momma walked inside, as I ran up to her and slipped her a hug. "How was your first day of school?" she asked, walking to the kitchen to get something to eat. "I HATED it!" I replied, my voice raising in anger. "Why is that?" she asked, her voice still mellow. "Because! When I stepped onto the bus, some girl said I had a big butt! Then I got lost going to homeroom, and my teacher keeps calling me Ge-Ge! I wanted to tell her only you can call me that, but she kept it up. Then, the girl who said I had a big butt gave me a note saying that she hates me! So I scribbled on it and threw it back at her saying something mean! He began to cry and my teacher found out, and sent me to the principals office!" I cried, anger in my tone as each word slipped out. Momma just paused, slipping me some Peanut Butter and Apples to calm me down. She retorted at my last phrase, and replied, "You what?! You got sent to the principals office on your first day!" I just swallowed my slice of peanut butter and tart goodness, and replied, "Well...I didn't get to the best part is!" Momma just rolled her eyes, sarcasm coming out in her voice. "And what would that be?" I pushed the plate away and grinned as I released the grand secret the Principal told me. "Momma! Today I just got skipped to the Fourth Grade!"

Romantic Chapter 10:
Dude, That Guy is HOT!

[[Lol @ Title. xD]]

To be skipped to the fourth grade, it was amazing! I finally got to be with people of my own status, smart and not dense! I giggled slightly to myself, and climbed up the stairs toward my new homeroom. Room 203, it was right across the staircase. I thought that was perfect, because it made it easier to go to the bathroom. I entered into the classroom, and the first greeting I got was the unsteady eyes of those older than me. I didn't understand, did I make enemies in this class already from just walking in? The teacher was a very bland and regular looking professor. His round head was etched with the fluff of white old hair, and his beard stretched from his ears to his chin. He held glasses, round spectacles matched perfectly with his professor-like attire. I walked up to him, and handed the paper which signified that I was upgraded to the 4th grade. He held the paper in his hands, his eyes growing wide in the process. "Another one?!" he said enthusiastically, his voice mellow with happiness. "Well well! A math wizard! Anyway, I am Professor Arlund, and I will be your teacher for the remainder of the year. Please take a seat, somewhere. A place where it isn't occupied. But I must say...Your hair....?" he added while asking question in the same breath. "It seems familiar! Are you happen to be related to...Joneth?" The name echoed through my head. "Joneth...? Who in the world is that...? " I thought as I shook my head. "I have no siblings in this school!" I added, before he were question once more.
I trailed off to the back of the classroom, taking a seat. The eyes f the fourth graders still watched me even as I sat. Professor Arlund got up from his seat and tapped his chalk against the board. I see that there was no introducing here, just sit and learn I guess. He began to write the beginning of a phrase against the board, but halted at the sign of a rapping against the door. Professor Arlund followed after to the door placing his chalk down randomly on his desk. The door opened, at the sight I think my heart skipped a beat. A young boy walked in, the same age as my. He wore a paper boy hat, like those seen in old time England, also sporting a button down with a light grey tie. His hands were shoved in his pockets, and his hair was hidden under said hat, "Ah, Joneth!" said the Prof with a smile. "Glad you came! Were you busy with the librarian again?" Joneth, as was such a handsome boy's name, nodded in response. He turned and strolled down the rows of desks and took a seat in the back row. He was too far so I couldn't see his face. The Prof turned back to the board and finished the Phrase he was writing. It read "Science" and I saw it was going to be one of the longest periods of time I would ever sit through in a class. Oh did I dread that period! For I no matter how much I tried, I couldn't see his face that entire time.
Time came to an end finally, and he dismissed us to go to lunch and recess. Since the fourth grade entire class was so big, they split us up. Some would go to recess first than affterwards go outside. Then those who had recess first would head to lunch. Our class had recess first, so nearly all of the class went outside toward the playground. I was about to follow, but then I noticed Joneth sneak from the group to the other hallway. Secretly, I followed him, wanting to know this secret of him not wanting to go out. But what I noticed turned out to be obvious. He was going to the library, to read I guess. I wanted to turn back and run since literature wasn't my strong spot, but I walked inside anyway. There were actually several other students inside the library, playing games and so on. What also came to my attention was that there was no one supervising them. In reality, Joneth was watching over them before grabbing a book and sitting down. I paced past the people, randomly grabbing a book and seatting myself next to him. He either ignored me or was so drowned out in the book that he didn't see me tale a seat next to him. I skiddled my seat sligtly more next to him, to get a better look at what he was reading. Random words was all I could make out (*gigglesnort* make out xD), as I skimmed my eyes from the words to his face.
But what I didn't notice was I had leaned too much and actually was loosing my balance. I leaned to much forward, and then I collapsed. I opened my eyes from when I hit the floor. No one came running to check for us, because the thump seemed to drown out from all the noise that was made inside the library. A tinge of red hit my face, as I saw my nose was half an inch away from Joneth's. But before I could speak, I actually came to see the real identity of Joneth. This Joneth had ivory white hair, and two mustard streaks representing his bangs. One of his eyes was a green like mines and one was white. As his arm fell back, it jingled showing his half star bracelet. Now I am came to see who it was. It wasn't Joneth I came to love...It was my younger brother Grim! His gaze widened some more, a red tinge against his face as he threw he off with a thrust of both of his hands. "You malevolent, disgusting, horrendous, foul, perverted, promicuous young woman!" he yelled back to me in one breath. But as he got a second look at me, he shut his mouth before talking again. "Gr...Greed?!" he said after a long pause his eyes still wide. "Grim?!" I said after him seeing the mistake I made. "What are you doing here and why are you here?!" we both asked in unison of the same exact words. I glared, as I grabbed his hand and dragged him out of the library to the outside hallway. I turned back around to him, his face still red as mines already disappeared. "What are you doing here?!" I said, looking at him mad. "I-I got to school here!" he replied back, the same tone as mines before he shut his mouth knowing he was disrespecting his older sister.
I glared at him before dragging him out of the building. There was no one around in the front office, so I began dragging him some more. I walked down the steps, but hand still clasped in his. As our pace slowed, I felt his grip tighten around mines. "Huh?" I asked as I turned around, and Grim just smiled a weak smile trying to make everything feel better. "Let go!" I demanded in a harsh tone pulling my hand back. He held his grip tight, and I found out he was much stronger than me. "No." he said sternly, keeping his grip there. Another blush hit my face as I turned and still lead the walking. Grim just followed obidiently. We stayed silent the entire walk. His grip was still in mines, and my hand grew wet for how warm his palm was. After a long walk of going up and down block, we finally reached Momma's house. "What place is this?" Grim asked in almost a stupid tone. "My house." I replied with almost a grit of my teeth and pulled my hand. He didn't hesitate to jerk back before I opened to door by picking at it. Immediatly I went to the phone and tore off a sheet of paper, I began writinng. But before I could finish, Grim interuppted me by talking. "Oh! You happen to be left handed too!" he said with a laugh before smiling. "And what are you writing?" he added, looking down at my chickenscratch of handwriting. "A note," I replied with one short breath. "I am writing a note to tell my Mother I am going to be late today. I want to go meet your Mom , Grim. I want to ask questions. And your mother is the only one that can give answers.

Enriching Chapter 11:
The Lemonade Stand

I walked all the way from school to home, too late scrounging around for loose money to get something to eat, I had missed the bus. I gritted my teeth as I opened the door, and Momma lay perched by the computer, her finger tapping away at the keyboard making rhythmic sounds of click click click. Suddenly, she jumped from her chair and pulled me into one of those tight bear hugs as he tossed herself and me onto the couch. "Your home late!" she said kissing my forehead. "What's up? Did something happened at school?" I just eyed her as her lips melded with my forehead. I rubbed away the sticky rim of lip gloss on my forehead as I replied, "Something did happen!" I said in a loud, shrieking voice of anger. "The school raised lunch prices! Instead of wanting $0.60 cents for lunch, they want A whole dollar! That is an up of 40 cents! They screwing with us Momma! I didn't have enough money to buy lunch, so I was hungry all day. So hungry, I couldn't even answer Math questions! Then I stayed after school and waited a long while just for the ice cream man to come and buy myself the cheapest ice cream bar they had. It was awful!" I was panting in anger, and Momma just grabbed my shoulder and patted my head. "Ge-ge." she said as she looked at me with those warm, brown eyes of a Mother. "I don't mind lending you some extra money for school. It's only a dollar? That is not much, so I don't mind it at all."
I retorted quickly at my mother's kindness, my eyes growing warm as hers next. "Momma, I don't want to hinder you! I want to make the money myself! Me being a hindrance is not worth it if it affects one of the people of love! Please Momma, would you reconsider?" I said, remembering the methods of persuasion Grim had thought me. "Please Momma?" Momma's eyes grew bright as he grappled me into another tight bear hug. "I don't mind that at all." she said in another motherly voice. "Your growing up Ge-ge, and you are showing me one of the attributes you have obtained. That Ge-ge, is the maturity of another's wealth. That is precious! Hold it within you for it is a grand skill!" After that short congrats upon learning a new lesson, Momma and I sat down at the kitchen table and thought about ideas on how to earn myself extra pocket change. He scritched and scratched at line paper until finally a common, but easy idea came to mind: A Lemonade Stand.
Momma had to go out that afternoon to run errands for Grandpapa, so I stayed back and set up my Lemonade Stand. The blazing heat was a good sign I would surely sell well...But it also lapsed me into building said stand. As I pounded in the last set of nails a lax voice came from behind. "Hmm! Sis, what'a building?" the voice asked and I quickly came to mind in was Grim. He was standing there clutched with a variety of colorful candies in his hand and some in his mouth. He was crunching at them between his back teeth and they made my skin crawl. "What do you want?" I retorted at his chewing as I taped his mouth impatiently. He continued his grinding of the candy as his face glared at me. "Well, I came to complain!" he said frowning at my expense. "That bed you gave me was horrendous! It has done a great deal of damage to my neck and I can hardly move it. Plus, I have gotten no sleep either!"
I glared at him like any big sister would until I discovered the truth. I remembered I had never told Momma about Grim, my twin brother. Lately, I have been secretly keeping him in the garage. He sleeps on an old cot that I used to play on and I bring meals out to him every once in a while. Grim actually refused to see his mother again and asked if it was okay to stay at my house. I had agreed immediately for he had shaken that woman up for what she had did to me. But I returned to reality and nodded to him. "I will look for something better for you tomorrow. Right now I have to earn the money first to buy it." Grim nodded as he turned and pushed his weight against the wooden stand. "What are you selling anyway?" he asked tossing some wrappers upon the top of the lemonade stand. I shooed the wrappers away with my gloved hands as I turned to him. "It is a lemonade stand." I said flat out. Grim's eye brightened as I finished. "Well of course you will let me taste!" he said cheerfully as he smiled afterwards. I just nodded at his expense as I poured him a glass. "Drink up." I said and he immediately had finished it before I could finish.
Next, his eyes widened as he spat and wiped his mouth. I could tell already that he disliked it and I tilted my head in the curiosity. "What is wrong with it?" I asked trying to figure out the problem. "That thing is sour!" he said as he wiped the residue of lemonade off his cheek. "Add more sugar!" I nodded at him as I added a couple lumps of sugar into the mixture. Swizzling it with a mixing spoon and pouring another glass I handed it to my brother. He gushed it around and spat it out once more. "Is it...that bad?" I questioned as I tilted my head at him. "Nope." said Grim as he smiled. "I just like spitting it out!" I just glared at him as I gave him one good tap in the head before my lemonade stand was considered: OPEN.
