Story Background
Demons came to take the earth for there own. Angels came to destroy the it. Spirits came to help us fight. We are the chosens.... 12 spirits came to earth in hopes to save our world from certain doom, through the temples was created forges in which they were used to create Armlets with great power. They were all fused with one of the 12 spirits and allowed the chosen of these armlets to have great power to protect there world. But a law was cast upon the armlets that any one who harmed or killed a mortal being with its power shall be punished. For the blood will burn away its metal and a death of mortal will cause the armlet to eat away your soul. That was the law of the Darkened.

The armlets gave the chosen the ability to manipulate nature as well the ability to summon a armor and a weapon. Each generation a new chosen is picked out be the Armlets, that is the will of the great 12 spirits.

There are three worlds, the umbra, the nexus, and earth. It is believed that the umbra, home of the sprites and the nexus home of the demons are separated by a wall that is earth, and if demons were to conquer earth then there would be no way to stop them from taking over the umbra, and so the spirits wish to destroy earth so there is nothing left but a void and no reason for demons to cross over. This is believed to be the demon spirit war. Twelve spirits came to earth to stop it for they believed if earth was destroyed so would everything else.

The Story
You are the 1st generation of chosens, a conspiracy and a mystery unfolds, there is more then what meets the eye to the war, as there is more to the law of the darkened. It is the age of shamans, and recently demons have been showing up on earth. Shamans built three templed on behalf of 12 powerful spirits who offer there power to these shamans. Each temple was forged 4 armlets, and in the temples before a chosen was picked out, a shaman would go through the temples trials to be judged by the spirits to see if they were worthy of the spirits power.

A demon lord named Krinje seeks out something called the Force of Eerak, a power said to be the cause of why the demons home world the Nexus has been falling apart. But there is more secrets hidden in the shadows and a being so powerful awaiting in the darkness. Waiting for the time to rise and to obliviate all existence and to recreate it in its own image. This being is said to be as old as time its self.... It had been defeated once by Ancients (Dragon People) and now has risen again to complete what it failed to do last time.

Chosens = People picked out by the 12 great spirits to protect the Earth from the war. They have the abilty to manipulate nature, to summon a armor, and a weapon all from a special armlet infused with 1 of the 12 great spirits. The armlets are blood thirsty and devours souls for energy. It is said that when something is killed by the armlet (demon, Spirit, or Mortal) that the chosen inherits a fragment of that beings memories.

Demons = There are many classes of demons as there are Spirits. When a mortal being dies and the great flow that covers all three worlds (a life stream) depending on the mortals nature they are sent to the nexus and become demons.

Angels = Angels are higher class spirits. There are many classes of Angels all with different responsibilities.

Spirits = When a mortal dies and depending on there nature they may get sent to the umbra were they become spirits. There are many classes of spirits.

Demon Lords = Demons are territorial by nature and there are leaders. Demons who are powerful by magic and by laws can gain the rite to become a demon lord.

False Chosens = People who created there own armlets of power using a fallen fragment of a real armlet of a chosen, are called false chosens. Often there armlets have a demon spirit inside it and have powers that a normal chosen would not have, but the armlets them selves are weaker then the real ones. (Powers Vary)

Sliding down the side of a hill, a young man with short, spiked up black hair, obsidian gray/blue eyes, and a dark gray chinese male kimono finally made it to the bottom. Yawning abit, he found the small house. It was kinda icky looking but it still kept them warm. Yes, them. Walking in, his black kitsune ears twitched as he heard his niece's breathing.

Luna! Are you practicing?

Luna's ears purked up and she stood.

Yes Uncle!!!

Arashi heard a few noises, almost like talking. His sensitive ears twitched and he looked at Luna,"You stay here Lu..I'll be right back." he told her. Luna nodded and he went out. He walked for a few hours, then noticed the river. The sound of skipping rocks flooded his ears and Arashi walked slowly and ever so silently. He transformed into a small black fox with gray tipped ears and a gray tipped tail. He then accidentally stepped on a stick, making a crack and snap sound.

~s**t! I'm done for...~ he thought to himself.

A tiny girl creature who appared to be no more than five in age sat high in the branches of the old tree. Dusty brown hair swaying in the wind two dark brown ears twisted with the noises of the forest one silver and one green eye focused on the pair below her. A cloak was drapped over her body though her head was visible her human feet swinging in the wind above the two men. sighing quietly as they seemed to pick up the noise as another creature entered upon the area. This was going to make her job even harder than it was.

The siren from the village blew, signaling it was under attack. Immediately Dash ran off towards the village. There was no way he was going to let it get attacked this time. "SPIRIT!!" Dash shouted out, and triggered the blade that came out from his armlet. Before him was a Demonlord. Some of the warriors surrounded the demon regardless of the fact they stood no match for a demon lord. Shortly After leo was now there with two sets of of double blades one on each arm. Only a Chosen such as Leo and Dash would have a chance with a demon lord.

"Relax.. I am here on peaceful terms.." Said the demonlord. He was in his full form and he resembled a large Canine that stood on legs, , completely black furred, dressed in robe with crimson red coloring on it. He had horns like a elks. "I am here to ask of one thing. I want the boy Rian."

A mothers cry could be heard in the background along with some scared people. "No ones going to be handing over any child." Dash explained with disgust on his face.

"But he isn't just any boy.. he is a Seer of the Lunar Circle. Demon Blood runs in his vains.. I will spare this village if I am allowed to have the boy."
The demon lord explained.

"..No.. I do not know what you mean by what you say but I will not allow you to take the boy. You will have to fight me.."

"And Me!" Leo joined in.

"Before we let you do that....You be wrong if you thought we would aid a demon like you." Dash continued.

"Heh.. So be it..." He lifted the robes off of him self revealing his exposed chest, with a pendant around his next resembling a circle with demon writing on in. With a single left of his arm he sent a massive shock wave that sent all the villagers back including Dash and Leo. He then stepped forward heading to the direction of were the mothers cry could be heard.

Zana Kathar heard a siren from a village and immediately rushed toward the sound. She ran into the village and came across a young man with dark blond hair and ice blue eys and an armlet running toward a demonlord with something on its shoulder. Zana unsheathed her sword but couldn't decide if she should impose on this chosen's fight or not.

"You may have to take care of a third." Zana said and raised her longsword threatingly. She tossed off a small salute to the man with ice blue eyes and the woman. "Mind if I cut in?" She emphasized 'cut' with a small slash of her sword.
