Luna purred as she traveled toward a the lake in the lands she had been staying in, if things continued they way they were then maybe it would be her and Bai Shan's she would like that.
The others were sleeping too early for them., other wise she would not be out here. She liked spending time with her "Family." Before them she really never had one. She was alone for most of her life but not now.
She leaned over still purring and lapped up some water.

Ashoka kicked at a random twig as he made his way to the lake where he had first met Nadine. Sniffing the air he realized that a lion he didn't recognize was close at hand. Frowning, he wondered who else had shown up at the lake's edge.
As he made his way closer to the water he saw the outline of a lioness. It was hard to make her out completely as she was a darkly colored lion. her markings, however, shimmered in the sunlight. She was a beautiful lioness but in his mind, she didn't hold a candle to Nadine.

Luna froze where she was standing.... What was there. She turned around it was a male, she smiled and let out a small bow. "Hello?" She slightly asked arching a slight brow.
"Not to be rude, but may I ask what are you doing here?" She sat back on her haunched. "I have been here quite a while... never have seen you before." Her Greenish blue eyes scaned across him.

Ash smiled back at the lioness and replied, "Hello." He looked from her at the lake when she asked her question. "I was wanting to get a drink." He looked back at her and smiled some more. "I've never seen you here either. I've been around here before, met a few lions even." He replied to her statement of never seeing him around before. "My name's Ashoka, or Ash for short." He said as he introduced himself to the lioness and took a small bow, causing some of his reddish mane to fall in his face. He blew the stray strands out of his face and gave a small smile as he straighted back up.

Luna sat back on her haunches for a moment and started thinking. "Thats interesting, I have been on these lands for a while now. Me and my mate, were thinking about claiming it." She nodded and wrapped her tail around her legs smiling at the words mate. "That is a nice name, Mine is Luna"

"Claiming it, huh?" Ash said more to himself than to Luna. He looked up at the tree thoughtfully. It'd be weird for this place to be claimed by others. He sighed to himself and shrugged it off. Luna and her mate were here first. They had a right to it. "Luna, huh? That's a nice name too." He said as he looked back down to her and smiled. "Are your mate and you in a pride?" He asked, trying to make a conversation start. He was horrible at these types of things. He'd never had practice before. He only did it well with Nadine because it just felt right to talk to her.

Luna smiled. "Thank you Sir." She flicked her hair back a bit. "No not yet but that is why we want these lands, me and him plan on making our own, with our adopted children, and hopefully more soon." SHe nodded and her smile grew wider at the though of her own kids. "So tell me, what about you, are you part of a pride?" She looked at him picking out his markings a bit, she liked doing that.

Ash looked at the lake and tree thoughtfully. He'd had a few great times here and would hate to see it belong to any one lion. However, Luna and her mate had been here first so it was only their right to claim it. He shrugged the thought off and turned his attention back to Luna. "You plan on making a pride, huh? Well, g'luck on that." He said as he nodded. He meant it too. He was glad to see that other lions were making friends and working on forming prides. It's what this place needed now-a-days. There were too many stray lions out there.
He sighed a bit at the thought and plopped down on the ground. "You said you had adopted kids? None of your own?" He asked, wondering about the cubs she talked about and what they were like. It also made him think of how his own cubs would turn out to be like.

Luna sat back on her haunches slighty. "Yes I have not really seen any prides around here, I am glad to say that we are starting one. She shuffled around her paws. In her old pride she would have been a second Generation princess, but she was a child of a war and was abbandoned because she looked like her father... She would be quite happy to get her true rank and be happy.
"No, Not yet." SHe nodded to his question.
