He destroyed my life...
I have a cut in my foot that is really painful (I stepped on a computer case when helping my boyfriend fix it) It's deep and about an inch or two long. Thing is it's on my heel and everytime I walk, no matter how I walk, it keeps opening again.
What can I do? crying
Now I will destroy him.

D: Oowie. That sounds like it hurts. Well, first of all, are you absolutely positive that there is nothing left inside the cut? You (or a parent) should examine it closely to make sure no foreign substances are left inside. That will prevent your cut from healing and will also give you an infection, no matter how you care for it. Depending on what you stepped on (did it crack or break when you stepped on it?), you might want to see a doctor just for peace-of-mind.
Also make sure that it doesn't require stitches. Sometimes cuts can be deceiving, but if keeps opening on you, it might be that normal methods of healing just aren't enough. If you're confident that it doesn't, things like hydrogen peroxide or neosporin are very important, because the cut is in a place that attracts a lot of bacteria and infection. Something else that occured to me was soaking your foot in warm water with salt in it. This will help keep infection away, although it will burn a lot when you first put your foot into it.
Secondly, make sure you're bandaging it properly. Depending on how it is positioned on your foot, a regular Band-Aid might not stay on the way it's supposed to. You might require actual bandages that you can wrap around your whole foot, to give them better leverage in staying on. I stepped on a nail once, and I had rotten time keeping Band-Aids on long enough for it to heal.
Next, obviously, try to stay off of your foot as much as possible, but when you absolutely have to walk, try to do it on tip-toe, almost, avoiding putting pressure on your heel. If you can stay home from school for a day or two, you should. Avoid walking fast or running [don't do gym, if you still have it] and if you need to, explain the situation to your teachers so that they're understanding if you're a few seconds late to your classes.
Finally, there will be a lot of morons concerning this. D: When I stepped on a nail and couldn't do gym that day, one particularly bright idiot went, "If you stepped on a nail, you couldn't walk!" Brilliant, Einstein, because one nail incapitates your entire foot, especially when it's at the heel of your foot. God. I so wanted to slap him. rolleyes
If a couple of days go by and you're seeing no healing in your foot, I'd see a doctor if I were you. You might be okay, but you might also have an infection or need stitches or have a sliver of something inside the cut. You don't want an infection that will do something permanent.
Feel better. ^^

Thanks. Thankfully I don't go to school anymore so that is not a bother. And I work from home, so I won't be on my feet much. But yeah, the cut is turning black, but I got told that because of the type of metal it was that the cut will turn that colour anyway. Still, it looks gross. confused Now I will destroy him.

o.O Who told you it was going to turn black? That sounds extremely unhealthy to me, and the reason it's turning black sounds like it's because residue from the metal was left in your cut. If I were you, I would really consider at least calling the doctor's office if you haven't already. I know I sound a little paranoid, but that really doesn't sound good, especially if it still oozing blood and hurting. You should call your doctor or maybe some kind of twenty-four hour clinic or something and ask them if there's something special you need to do. It sounds strangely but even a small cut, if it were infected enough, could result in something like gangrene or an extremely high fever [like 103 - 104 degrees].

No prob, I hate it when that kinda stuff happens to me. I week ago I think I bruised the ligament in my knee, and it hurt to walk up and down stairs, to sit down, and to bend over to get books out of my locker. So, I know what it feels like, and it pretty much sucks... :/

I'm accident prone too. I'm always hurting myself at practice and games. One time, the other team kicked the ball, you know at the kickoff thingy (I don't really know what it's called, which is sad...), the ball flew into the air, and hit me square on the side of the head. It hurt, but I was mostly mad that my mom wouldn't let me play anymore of the game... rofl It's kinda funny now... rofl ... ... ... sweatdrop

I was alright when it came to sports. Couldn't be accident prone in that because I got banned from doing it. I scared all the girls. >_< Now I will destroy him.

I've only ever broken a bone in my finger, it's kinda noticable that I didn't get it sorted out because it doesn't fit right with the rest on my fingers. But no one would notice unless I pointed it out. It got broken when I was a little kiddie and I was teasing a swan with a slice of bread. In the end it got pissed off with me and bit my finger - breaking it. Now I will destroy him.
