Carden stepped gingerly through a bog pit. The only place he could get privacy now was in these places. He gingerly wrapped his bandages so they would not dirty and found with dismay that they had begun to fray. He felt a throb of dispair.

Harmony made her way through Nightmare Valley. She didn't often come here without good reason, and today she had a reason. She was wearing a small bag that she was carrying a special something for her new friend in. She looked around happily for him.

Carden felt a ripple in the marsh. Somone else was here... He just wanted to be alone. He sighed and picked his way faster. He suddenly stepped into solid ground and set about wiping off his feet.

Harmony saw Carden wiping off his feet and tried to hurry over to him, but it wasnt easy in this enviroment. When she had finally reached him she tapped him playfully on the shoulder.

Carden twitched and stepped away from Harmony, his eye twitching. "I come here to be alone you know," he said bitterly.

Harmony frowned. Way isnt he happy to see me? she thought sadly I came all this way and he doesnt even want me here. she reached into her bag and pulled out a small pink envelope, before handing it to Carden.

Carden edged backward, looking at the paper thing warily. His head bobbed up and down as he looked at it closely. He blinked and took it. He sniffed it. "Thankyou..." he said gingerly. "Uhm...okay I suppose I..." He opened it.

Harmony smiled and blushed slightly as he seemed to be reading over the letter. The letter read:
Dear Carden,
I’m very sorry for my intrusion to your privacy the other day, only you looked to upset that I just couldn't leave you there all by yourself.
You may find me irritating and for that I apologise, I simply wish to be your friend and to help you in anyway I can.
I care about you.

Carden swallowed. "Your.... penmanship is... very clear," he said awkwardly. "I don't really understand how you can have so much feeling for someone you have barely met..." he said. She was freaking him out a little.

Hamony frowned slightly and pulled out of her bag a pen and paper, not wanting to confuse anyone ever again. She wrote on the paper "I simply care about everyone I meet".

Carden swallowed. This wasn't how things worked at all. "That's... nice I suppose," he said quietly. That also meant he wasn't anything special. He shrugged. Not suprising. "So... why are you out here in this deslate place when you live elsewhere?" He asked, handing her back the letter.

Harmony pushed the letter back towards him lightly before writing "No no you keep it, I wrote it for you. To answer your question, Im out here to see you, and to see if you are ok"

Carden left it where it lay. He was uncomfortable here. "I don't need any help," he said shortly. He waited to see if she would leave now.
