-Lim streched his paws outwards as the sound of early morning birds roused him from a peaceful slumber. Eyes openning in small slits he let the morning light adjust with his silver orbs before he began to study the surroundings, the events of the day before washing back over him like an ocean.

Not far away lie Sheba, still tucked away in that exhaustion she seemed to be ladened with yesterday. But Lim was fine with that. In fact.. it only made things easier. He could set up a nice scene to wake up to. Breakfast perhaps.. Wait.. did she eat? Or was she like him, only really eating when another suggested it? Well perhaps something lovely then. Not flowers though, else she draw together some ties from the day before.

Shifting a little, seemingly amused and frusterated with the task, he tried to ponder over things. What did she like? He'd tried to get that very information out of her the day before and failed. His eyes filtered over her softly, admiring her tenderly. Such a lovely difficult beast..

Well, he'd just have to figure it out the old fashioned way.

Streching once again, he lifted himself from the ground, shaking and rustling himself and feathers until everything settled into the right place. Well the day was lovely so far, so for now all he could do was make sure that nothing woke her up in the wrong frame of mind.-

Bathsheba lay not far away, curled on one side. She had pulled her limbs close while she slept for comfort or warmth or perhaps just out of habit. Her hair was splayed out in messy strands, some splashed down near her paws while others lay out behind her. She was still resting when Lim awoke. But even tired she was a light sleeper. She let out a breath, her eyelids fluttering briefly before they opened just a little. It was enough to allow a little daylight to creep into her vision. One of her paws shifted reluctantly, her brain still mostly sleeping and resisting being roused. Her ears fell back, having caught his movements, and slowly, since there was nothing to suggest she do otherwise, her mind tried to awaken.

-As he settled to wait, he let his mind wander, taking a lazy list of things he liked to do, but it was a task that quickly drew short with futility. And instead his eyes turned towards their surroundings to survey the area in the light of day.

Too quickly childish impatience was getting to him as he waited, oblivious to the fact of her half-roused state. Plodding backwards onto his back like a cub he streched his limbs out wide, yellow tipped paws flicking a whistful bat at a puffy cloud that drifted slowly across the azure sky.-

Rubbing one paw bleerily over her eyes, so that when they opened they could adjust, she finally seemed to wake. With a gentle moan she pulled herself up on her front paws, blinking her eyes a few times. She then turned her head, trying to recall where she had fallen asleep...drowsily she spotted Lim in the strangest postion. She sneezed. She remembered now...they had made up from their fight last night. Lifting a few whiskers as her nose settled she glanced at the god uncertainly. She wasn't sure what he was doing and therefore she didn't know if it was quite right...interupt.

-She didn't particular need to interupt, both the sneeze and the ever light sound of metal shifting was enough to grab Lim's attention, head leaning backwards to gaze at her upside down. Seeing how awake she was, already up and standing, a sheepish grin spread across his maw, one that seemed well suited on the lilac god.- "Ahhhh, good morning sunshine."

-He rolled over to his belly, lingering there for a few moments, before he pushed himself upwards with much too much pep for so early in the morning.- "Did you sleep well?"

-He assumed they must have, after all he couldn't remember much at all as the conversation had drifted, and he'd obviously been too tired to try and creep a little close during the night. Nonetheless he asked out of politeness, adding mildly.- "Are you a breakfast person? Or perhaps a morning bather?" -His eyes fell upon her hair at the comment, it'd fallen pretty much back into place, but considering how much of it there was.. he wouldn't be surprised if she didn't have a routine for it.-

"Ah...yes, thank you," she nodded slowly, still feeling very mellow from the lingering effects of sleep. Her ears remained laid back at his smile, her mouth threatening to perk a little, but instead it dropped into a shy, half opened "o". His question as well was a little surprising...perhaps only because no one had ever bothered to ask it before. What did she normally do? The past month or so hadn't really been "normal" though...she recalled that before she had always slept in the god's realm...and she used to put her hair up each morning...

"Ah...not particularly," she mumured. She didn't really feel like messy with her hair today, just like she hadn't for the last month. For some reason putting it up had only frustrated her recently.

"A morning bath can be quite soothing, but personally I prefer mine before bed..." -It was a tease, one that slipped out with subtle lewdness before he could stop it. But even if she caught onto it, it was so quickly pushed aside by his next words that he didn't falter.-

"I'm not much for hanging around doing nothing for too long. How about a walk?" -His fruit heavied tail flicked, body turning towards the sun, in the direction he intended to persue.- "Or the air, if you prefer that sort of walk."

-He didn't mind either way really, and despite any discomfort she might be having, he was settling into a smooth calm, comfortable, contented for the most part.-

Sheba's expression flinched briefly as she thought she caught something in one of his comments...but the concern was reluctantly carried away by his words as he continued to speak regardless. As far as his question...did she really have a preference? She couldn't really pin one, though she had been walking lately as opposed to flying...she supposed that would have to due. She was a little tired of being a difficult customer. For a flash she felt a sharp stab of empathy. It was hard to make others happy, wasn't it?

"A walk would be...lovely," she murmured.

-He had no inkling of her internal thoughts, and the fact that she'd come upon some emotion that would make his task easier. But he was obviously delighted when she agreed to the walk. It would be a nice way to strech out limbs, give him some time to ponder over things they could do, and perhaps if he was lucky, just stumble upon something that might do the job for him.

The determination in him seemed to lift his mood in a way it hadn't been in weeks, and as he awaited her to join near him his feathers lifted subconciously upwards.- "Alright then. Let's go see what the day brings us."

Sheba slide quickly onto all fours, taking only a brief moment to push the hair from her face with the tip of her wing before moving to join him. Her movements were brisk, a subconscious show of her awkward willingless to give this a try. Mixed feelings or no, this was a step forward and after so many days of moving back she was more tehn ready for a change. She nodded as she caught up with him, passing a sideways glance in his direction, "....yes...let's."

-Limbuko was silent as he jolted into motion, bouncing forward like a spring with energy before he slowed back to a more comfortable speed, eyes turning back as if to make sure she indeed planned to follow. Not that he thought she wouldn't... but more so because of the extreme amount of work and emotion and effort that'd been expanded over the days before. To let things fall once more to the way they'd been would be tragic and incredibly frusterating.

Though silent, the lilac god exuded an aura of cheerfulness, optimistic thoughts spurring on his normally bubbley personality. His eyes gazed to and fro, taking in the beauties of the world around him. The colors and scents of flowers, the lush green of the forests, the sweet melody of birds and bugs. His month of depression and anger had blinded him so much, that now a simple sort of euphora was sweeping through him. Too feel like himself once more... How could it have happened in such a simple switch like that?

Turning his eyes back to Sheba, he peered at her gratefully for a moment, before his soft smile narrowed a little deviously. Side stepping, to bring him nearer, he swatted playfully in the direction of the loose strands that swung in a beautiful veil from her shoulders.- "You ever played tag?"

Silly as it might seem, his attitude was comforting. It was nearly tangable in the air, that easy going feeling he radiated. Granted, it wasn't so contagious that she was skipping or any such things, but she felt the knots slowly unwind from her muscles, her body hesitantly accepting that it as ok to relax.

So she nearly jumped as he drew close and swiped at her, if only playfully. It wasn't something she had expected. Her heart lurched and she took a step back, her eyes fluttering like a butterfly's wings before she settled again. It only took her a moment, but it was enough to show her surprise.

"Ahh..." she stumbled a moment over his question, "No...well...no yes, just...not since I was a child." She hadn't really do anything of that nature since she was a child. She had simply...had too much to do. At least, that's what she told herself.

-His eyes widened, brows rising in subtle surprise at how extreme her reaction had been. And when they settled back in place, his grin grew instead, teasing mildly with a jovial question that quite obviously asked for no answer.- "I'm that scary?"

-Lingering a step back still, he swatted once more at the lioness, making certain not to touch her, though his body seemed to ready itself for a chase.- "That's a shame." -And then playfully, still oozing of that pleasant and good natured attitude, he teased a little more.- "I suppose you aren't very good at it then, hmmm?"
PostPosted: Thu Sep 18, 2008 2:17 pm

Sheba let out a breath, ears flicking back in mild embaressment. Certainly it had been a rediculous reaction...but that's what she got for not paying attention fully. It was her own fault and she certainly wasn't going to blame him for mocking her for it.

"I...don't know. It's been a long time," she pressed again, her eyebrows dropping down a bit close to her eyes in a bit of confusion. She passed him a glance, watching his eager pent up energy. Wait...was he...suggesting...?

-He was surprised himself, both at how seriously she seemed to take his harmless taunts and the fact that she hadn't sprang away already. And though he didn't show it, his energy dampened a little, as if trying to debate whether or not to continue on. Any cub would have reacted by bounding off, wouldn't they? Have taken the subtle hint and shrieked off in delight hellbent on proving him wrong?

And yet she was different. He knew it, but still. Challenges, challenges, he must not forget.

Though uncertain, for who knew if she simply didn't like the game, or if playing something so frivolous might make her feel degraded, he decided to try one more time. Lowering his head and chest lightly, into a prowling, pouncing position, he flashed another reassuring smile, shifting his front paws tentatively back and forth.- "Don't tell me you don't recall how to play?"
