Everyday was the exact same routine for Cirrus. It just was too much for him or more like not enough. Cirrus needed excitement in his life, something to keep him stimulated. Even though he had met quite a few people lately, it wasn't enough to satiate his thirst for adventure. This place was too safe for him, it was almost unsettling.

Cirrus began to wonder what his teepee mates would do. He knew Zalifur would just sleep the days away... That was such a waste. And he knew that Chitsa and Alston would just find a way to entertain themselves because their personalities were just like that. He had no idea what could possibly absorb him enough for a few days. That was just definitely what he needed.

It felt quite good, for the sun to be out that day. It was quite warm for a winter month, but the mare was sure to revel in the warmth as much as she could. She took long strides, although they were slightly hindered by her hind leg, which forced her to limp a little. The snow crunched lightly under her hooves, and it was beginning to seem spring was right around the corner. She knew, however, that it could easily snow once again and cover the ground in a thick blanket. Cicely however, hoped it would just melt away.

The seagreen mare continued her walk, which, as usual, just consisted of her. It did get quite boring, sometimes. Okay, it was actually very boring, and she craved the encounters she had on her travels.

Cirrus yawned lazily even though it was the middle of the day. The sun hit his smooth back but he didn't even seem to notice. His short tail flicked the flies away as he could feel them buzzing around him. Spring was near and he hoped the new year would bring change and exciting things. So far, his life was dull and that was not what he wanted.

Tilting his head slightly, Cirrus noticed a mare walking towards him. A smile appeared on his face and he picked up his pace keeping his direction aimed at her. "Hello there!" His voice was rather cheerful and happy and was a definite change to what his mood had been earlier. Being in the company of others, Cirrus was definitely a cheerful, optimistic person, something he probably inherited from his mother.

She must have been too dazed thinking about the weather, for when the stallion called out, she was a little startled. She stopped in step, her eyes lifting off of the ground and to the beige-colored horse walking towards her. She giggled lightly and nodded in acknowledgement towards him, starting her stride once more to close the distance. He seemed to be quite chipper! A smile tugged at her lips and she nodded politely, flicking her long black tail.

"Well isn't this pleasant," Cicely said with a light laugh. It was beginning to look like this day would be well spent, as long as he proved to be good conversation and company. There was a very strong feeling of optimism that seemed to radiate from the stallion, and it was a little contagious. She continued on, shaking out her mane, "to actually have someone to speak to today. I suppose it'd be proper to exchange names?" Sh giggled a little more, as she normally did. She was quite simply put, a giggler. "You can call me Cicely, if you wish."

A huge grin appeared on his face as she spoke in greeting. Cirrus had met too many a soquili that really didn't want his company and it was always nice to meet somebody that actually didn't mind talking to him and satisfying his companionship needs. "Quite pleasant indeed. It's quite the pleasure to meet you Cicely. I go by Cirrus." He chuckled at the similar names. "How might you be this nice and sunny afternoon?" Cirrus now remembered why he liked wandering so much; he got the chance to meet others. He thought everybody was fascinating excluding himself because his life really was rather boring so he liked to listen about other people and their adventures. "Do you mind if I make up a nickname for you?" Tilting his head curiously, Cirrus knew it was an odd request but it really helped him remember the soquili.

If he were to say that not many enjoyed his company, she would have called him an outright liar. She hadn't once met someone who had toldher they didn't want to chat, and with such an appealing presence, she was sure nobody told him that. Cicely nodded as he intoduced himself, and turned her deep blue eyes to the sky, "It's really nice to meet you too, Cirrus. Haha, both our names start with C!" She giggled a little at the thought, shaking her head, "But on a more serious note, I'm enjoying this day way more now that my vocal chords and ears are getting more of a workout." She flashed a smile, and at his question she tilted her head. "A nickname? ... Um, sure?"

Cicely had never had a nickname before. What could one make out of Cicely? Cic? It sounded like sis. "Only if I can call you Cirr." She added quickly.

Cirrus was beginning to like this mare. At least she was friendly and willing to talk, that was all he could really ask for. Smiling charmingly at her, Cirrus was really enjoying himself now. "Hah. Oh the coincidences. That's good you're enjoying your day now. I have to admit, I am too." He paused and pondered how he could shorten Cicely into something that didn't sound ridiculous. "How about... Cily? It's not shortening much but hey, it's still a nickname." Cirrus chuckled once more at her suggestion, "You can call me whatever you want." He gave her a huge grin. "So, what are you doing on a night like this?"

The stallion observed her carefully making sure that he wasn't boring her or anything. He was known for rambling and he knew what it was like to listen to monotony like that.
