Personality || Orli is spirited and observant, with a mild sense of superiority over her peers. She is not one to suffer fools lightly, and is of the opinion that if you're not going to contribute any sort of meaningful means to an end, you had better get out of her way. She prefers to work alone than in groups, perhaps a relic of the neglect she fell to at the hands of her older siblings, but when not working towards any particular goal she is perfectly happy to be friendly and sociable, as long as you're not a complete idiot.

Personality || Sarcastic to a fault, naturally intuitive, and highly intelligent. Eshaa has the ability to be endearing and aggravating at the same time, and has displayed perfectionistic traits, neurotic pride, and a strong dislike of any ideas that don't agree with her own.

Once upon a time, Eshaa was a Star Wars OC. Her surname used to be Solo, and she was the spawn of Jacen Solo and Nen Yim, who are a totally crack pairing and don't even meet in the canon. That logic would make Eshaa 50% Human and 50% Yuuzhan Vong. It can be assumed that the institute she is employed by is in the Star Wars galaxy. If you don't know what any of that meant, it's okay. You don't need to.

The building is a converted industrial warehouse some eight stories of loft-style apartments, two apartments to a floor, divided into three-bedroom one-bathroom/laundry one-kitchen/common area living areas. Eshaa and her children live on the fifth floor.
Orli has two siblings living in the house.
Nahuel - The eldest Cooper child, Nahuel is a refugee from a land called "Eden" with the soul of a Jaguar. Eshaa found the leaf he came from at a dig site she was working at, and incidentally he has discovered a love for adventure, archaeology, and Indiana Jones (who may or may not be Eshaa's boss.)
Ranza (Esperanza) - The middle child in the Cooper family, Ranza is a "hiccup" - a mixture of an old soul and an animal. While what her past incarnation was remains to be seen, she was once a parrot and comes complete with massive amounts of blue feathers.
==Other members of the Cooper Family (who don't live with Orli)==
Nathaniel "Nat" Cooper - Eshaa's grandfather. Nearing his 90s, but he seems much younger due to a combination of an active life and the latest galactic health technology. He is a pilot by trade and by nature, has flown in multiple wars, and had a great number of adventures. He stayed with the family for the summer and Orli thinks he's awesome.
Kindel "Delly" Cooper - Eshaa's much younger sister. Delly is about fifteen and a student at the same prestigious military academy Eshaa attended. She has expressed interest in politics, and would love to visit Gaia, but due to her school schedule has not managed it yet. The kids don't know her.

Timeline
1-31-08 || Eshaa receives a cabbage from her boss, Dr. Jones, who claims it is her new "project" since he hasn't got the time.
2-4-06 || The cabbage begins to glow (Nahuel and Ranza saw a star fall in it, but Eshaa didn't.)
2-10-08 || The cabbage opens to reveal... a baby?!
2-1-09 || Orli finally grows into a kid!

. . . . . .[X] - In love with.Polly - The first other patch child Orli met, Polly is a rolly polly little phoenix child and they share a mutual love of "shinies". Incidentally, Polly was also Orli's first friend and she hopes she can see the other girl again soon. Eshaa, however, got weird vibes from the girl's mother, Gwen. After a mysterious absence, Orli and Polly were reunited at the beach party, where Polly explained she had run away and become a pirate. There was some mention of a gator man being her father, but Orli was too happy to see her friend again to care. xChris - Orli met Chris at the Easter Egg hunt and joined the boy's group for egg hunting. He's big, which means he can do lots of things Orli can't, and she was a little bit afraid of the demonic-looking child at first, but they were fast friends. She saw him again at the beach party, where they discovered who *could* sing and who *couldn't*. x
Rory - Orli met Rory at the Easter egg hunt and again at the beach party, where she discovered the other girl had grown since their last encounter. Rory seems nice enough, though Orli's opinions on her aren't quite as clear as her opinions on Chris and Polly. Still, Orli likes the other girl and considers them to be friends.x
Ishi - Orli and Ishizuke met in the park at night. Orli was perhaps a bit over-enthusiastic with the other girl, but engaged her in a game of tag (with Ranza's help). x
Grayson - Orli met Grayson at the playground and dragged him off on an adventure. As far as she's concerned, that makes them friends.x
August - Orli and Nahuel ran into August and his big sister at a maze a while back. The two pairs of siblings helped each other find the way out, but Orli didn't really get to know the boy well enough to form any kind of opinion on him.x
Nexus - A baby, and smaller than Orli. But she's got yellow hands and feet, so maybe they're long lost sisters? She's really too little to have much of an opinion on.x
Austin - Somehow related to Polly (and maybe to Antony?). Orli met him pumpkin carving. A Brat.x
Antony - He seems to organize everything. Orli's seen him around, but she doesn't exactly know him.x
Merroth - Honestly, he seemed like a bit of a brat. His and Orli's interests seem to have something in common, though.x

**Star Society**
There are stars, and then there are Stars. Stars (lower-case) are the classical definition, balls of fire floating freely in outer space. Stars (upper-case) are the manifestation of the collective consciousness of the universe, its eyes and ears, beings a step above mortality but a step below gods.
Within stellar society, there are many different orders of organization. Spectral and Systemic are the most common. Spectral organization divides Stars up by the spectral class of the star they are linked to - every Star holds power and responsibility over a specific star system. They are linked to it at birth and will continue to govern it until their death. When their Star dies, many stars will go nova not long after.
Giants hold the most power in Star society. Brown Dwarves hold the least. Orli is classed as a Yellow Main-Sequence Star, so she falls somewhere in the middle of the social spectrum. Certain kinds of 'Dwarves" hold more power than giants if they were previously classed as giants before fading. The luminosity of a Star is directly linked to the star they are connected to.
Systemic organization is the closest concept stars have to "Families". The closest relationship between Stars is 'Companion' - members of binary and triple systems. Lower class companions of a powerful Star can achieve ranks above their natural station. Stars don't reproduce in the same manner as humans, rather, a yong Star is incubated within the heart of the star they are connected to. When they achieve consciousness, they send out a call that is heard by all other Stars within fifteen lightyears, which usually means their immediate Cluster group. Stars have near-instantaneous travel to anywhere in their home galaxy, and those that hear the call will gather in the neighborhood of the young Star in order to help it assemble its physical form. A young Star is initially an infant, but grows to a childlike appearance rather quickly. From there, their growth into adult and elder phases of their life cycle can take millions to billions of years, though their perception of time is vastly different from that of mortal beings.
