When Merethist had first left home, Jay had been wringing his hands in worry and for days after he had refused to settle down. Jay had acted just like any worried father, Merethist had turned out brilliantly! He wouldn't harm a fly, had the incapacity to hate and above all else, he had moulded into his own unique person. Aiden trying dresses on him had urged the young coursier to continue wearing dresses, but Jay wasn't bothered.
That was months ago now Merethist was coming by for his first home visit since then and Jay was wondering what had taken the phantom so long to do so. He was pacing in the living room, long blond hair held up messily with a hair grip long pale strands of hair framing his face. Joshua was sat on the couch, munching on some strawberries Jay had given him. The twins were nearing a year and a half now, time had flown.

Asher settled himself on the couch, his legs crossed as he sipped a brandied blood. He still got the blood but it was flavored and it wasn't much. Licking his lips a little, he followed Jay with his husky eyes. his face carefully blank. He had been struggling for much of the time in trying to stay home and working...He had to arrange with JC to have part of his work at home so he could help out around the house. Even Raven took up a job to do something to get her out of the house on occassion.
"Jay will you sit down? I'm sure he's fine otherwise we'd have received word." Asher sucked at consoling. It wasn't his thing. He was the emo vampire...
Alexis toddled around, running around, getting into things, practically keeping Julianna on her ribbons...or toes, however it was put.

Jay suddenyl stopped his pacing, as if noticing that Asher was there for the very first time. He blinked his ash-grey eyes and shook his head free of the hazy-ness of worrying before resigning to sit himself on the couch next to Asher. He was worried, why was it that whenever he got worried Raven was never around? Just Asher, though Jay loved him dearly, the vampire sorely lacked in the comforting department. "I just haven't seen him in months, you know how much of a bubblebrain he is" Jay answered with a soft sigh, showing he was worried about Merethist actually arriving.
The coursier in question had just crossed over worlds and now sat on the pathway leading up to the front door of the house, quite dazed. He had only used dimension travel once or twice, so he still had to get landing right. He shook his head free of stunned senses and walked up to the door, not even bothering to knock as he walked straight through, as he used to do when he was younger. "hello~" he greeted with a bright grin, rushing over to throw himself at Jay. "JayJayJayJay!!" he cooed happily, obviously glad to see his parent once again. Jay smiled and petted Merethist on the head, careful not to disturb the small, fancy crown sat atop it. "hi Mere"

Julie smiled, hearing Merethist's voice. It was nice to see her brother home again as she poked her head from around the corner. "Hey Merethist!" She chirped, waving from her point.
Asher smiled. "Feel better?" He asked Jay quietly.

Next to be hugged was Asher and Merethist happily snuggled himself against the vampire. The phantom had gotten quite attached to Asher when he was younger, so Jay took it as no surprise to see the childish male cuddled up with his lover. "yes" he answered Asher's question, blushing in the slightest embarrassment. He looked Merethist over, checking for signs of poor diet or harm when he noticed a ring on Merethist's wedding finger.
"what's that?" he asked pointing to it, Merethist waved entusiastically at Julianna before turning to Jay, grinning. "my engagement ring!" he chimed happily and Jay felt like his jaw had just hit the floor. "your WHAT?"

Asher hugged the youngster close, brushing a small kiss to the phantom's forehead. He'd always be a youngster to Asher, but so was everyone else not that he minded.
Asher looked up Jay, watching his expression and hiding his own shock. "He's engaged."
Julie shrieked when she heard that and came out, her expression nearly matching Jay's in shock. "You're engaged? Who's the girl?" Automatically assuming it's female, that was Julie.

"yep, I got engaged a few months ago~ To a prince!" Merethist explained, happily curling up against Asher once again after Jay had relaxed, though the male still seemed a little in shock. Merethist was marrying a prince? at least Jay didnt have to worry about money and where Merethist was living.
Merethist giggled at Julie's reaction, another giggle escaping at the question. "it's not a girl, I'm marrying Prince Charming" he explained, a blush staining his cheeks. Merethist really did love Prince Charming alot, though this only made Jay groan in what could be called annoyance. "Charming?" he asked, already knowing what a brat that prince could be, how had Merethist ended up winning him over?

Julie's mouth dropped. "Charming? Isn't he...a spoiled brat who's also a jerk?" She asked, feeling her heart race. At least, that was her first impression of Prince Charming.
Asher shook his head as he held his tongue on the matter.

Merethist pouted at Julianna's words and huffed a little, looking up at Asher. "maybe so, but Asher and Jay are different and they still get long" he answered, moving to pick up Joshua who had been set to doze off after filling himself up with strawberries.
Jay looked rather helpless, he was happy for Merethist but not sure on what to think of Prince Charming.

Julie huffed all the same. "Yea... Asher's also much older then Jay but he's not a jerk..."
Asher finally caved in. "Alright you two. Enough. Let's get off the subject of Charming for the time being alright?"
Julie glanced up at Asher and smiled sweetly, still daddy's girl as she floated off to get a damp cloth to whipe Joshie's mouth with to clean the strawberry mess up.

"at least I don't fall in love with smelly pirates..." Merethist retorted childishly just before Asher told them to stop, he looked up at Asher and grinned in a way that said he had done nothing wrong. The phantom got up, carrying Joshua with a grin. "you've got so big!!" he cooed to the baby, wandering around the house to reacquaint himself. Jay flopped over Asher's lap with a sigh, hoping this wasn' the start of sibling bickering.
"nnn~ i'm too old for this" he complained, he was 22 this year and it was strange. That marked the third year he had been with Asher, would they celebrate?

Asher ran his hand through his love's hair, seperating the golden silvery strands. "Don't talk about age....you'll remind me of my own age..." He said softly, trying not to chuckle.
"A little bickery between siblings won't hurt..."
Julie frowned and almost glared at Merethist but remembered daddy said to chill out so she did. Besides there was later right?

Jay tilted his head up itno Asher's hands, enjoying the feeling of having his hair brushed a little. He opened his eyes as Asher spoke, laughing a little. "yeah, old man" he teased with a poke to Asher's bottom lip. He had gained much confidence since meeting Asher and was wiser of the world, that was good right?
Merethist missed the almost glare as he was too engrossed in showering Joshua with affection and attention, he had missed his baby siblings. "Joshie is such a big boy now~" he cooed, wondering if next time he managed to visit would the twins be in school?

Asher chuckled. "Old man I am." He murmured, happy to find contentment and the vitality of youth from Jay and the twins.
Julie watched Merethist. "You should visit more often, Mere."

Merethist looked over at Julie, placing kisses to Joshua's cheeks and forehead, making the toddler giggle in delight. "I know...I just got so caught up in balls, wedding plans and spending time with Charming and Tam-Tam that I got a little lost.." well, that and other not so pleasant things, but they would stay secret to them since it was all over now anyway.
"good to know, I'm dating an old rich guy, honey you know I do it for the money" Jay teased, sitting up to curl up against Asher. Yes, he had gotten so much more confidence since finishing college and going out on his own, though he still had yet to meet many of Asher's friends, he just wasn't sure on other vampires.
