surprised You're an artist too?!! whee Yes, so many of us are. 3nodding If you have a piece you've done and are perticualrily proud of here is the place to show off! ^_^
Feel free to ask for constructive critisism also....who better to evluate art then us fanatics, eh?! wink

eek OMG...I can finally not feel guilty asking for crits from the guild. crying Yay!
...course, half of the pieces I do are contest entries for you people. xp I guess I'll have to abstain from posting those. rolleyes

 What do you guys think? I did it in art and sociology class with a pen. It's really sketchy and messy but i like sketchyness, my clean lines look horrible to me. Think art like this is worth selling? On un-lined paper and less sketchy of course. ^^;;

Well I'm really a poser since I'm not a true artist - I do freehand but I can't think of images in my head straight enough to put them on paper, so i just use my fave images as models. I love Mikimoto, so here are a few Minmay sketches I made- you can TOTALLY find the originals anywhere on the web, they're all very famous. I stink so bad each one took me a month to finish lol.

I posted this in the post unfinished picture forum, but not many people go there, so ...
These aren't the first pages, so you don't really know what the hell the characters have been through, so I guess it won't be "moving"... (though maybe even with the complete story it wouldn't ^^ I really need every crits you can think of ! the story telling, is it effective, or are they stuff you don't understand ? the art ( well it's obviously not finished, but you know... ), is it okay ?
At the orphanage, Chloe (Arsenic) keeps getting into trouble, always counting on Josef (Cyanure)'s help. Since she loves him, and he's the cold and silent type, her behavior is obviously a way to get his attention. It's more dangerous every time...
The first pages happens after a rescue mission, where Josef gets hurt for the umpteenth time trying to save Chloe...

I have a problem with Chloe's appearance, 8 yo and 17 yo are "easy" to draw, but 13 years old ? and with a kid outfit ? aaaack T-T

That looks awesome Kiriko. ^^ The only problem I had was when someone other than the two main characters talked...like when she runs by the maid (?) and then you have a close-up. It toook me a bit to figure out who the close-up was of. And in the last panel, where she's saying somthing..."Don't you try..." I can't quite read it ( I assume that would be fixed in cleaning) but more importantly, I am so confused by who it is she's talking to. xd In current news, just got some white guache. Took a few pics to figure out the right consistency to use (thus the heavy white area on teh hair in the first one), but it's sooo much fun. These are some of the pics I did with it, for samples in my new shop. ^^
