If JK Rowling wrote another series, which of Harry's kids would you want to read about?

Well duh, it's gotta be Albus...
We only get one chapter with the kids and Albus is absolutely adorable... James is more like a combination of Fred and George than anything else. And Lily just seems like a repeat of Ginny. Although I suppose it might be cool to have a female main character, but it's not like J.K. ever fell off the ball when it came to providing us with strong female characters and heroines. But I'm not entirely sure I'd want her to do it at all. Part of me craves more Potter books, but another part of me dreads the idea of a bad Potter book... sweatdrop
And then there's that part of me that just likes that it's all left to our own imagination. whee She left us tons to stuff to write fanfic with. Scenes between Lily Evans and Snape, what happens to the kids, what happens before the kids and after the death of Voldy... What happens with Ron and Hermy... the possibilities left for the imagination are endless... 3nodding
I just hope she does that encyclopedia of all her notes and character backgrounds... And I might like a mini story on some of the other students at Hogwarts, like Dean Thomas (I've heard some interesting stories on his back-plot that got cut) or what the heck happened to Neville? Or Lav Lav? Or Percy? Or George (or which ever twin it was that made it)? Or even more on what's up with Malfoy? Or did Flint ever finally graduate? (or did he already...I don't know...all I know it that he was around too many years...) What about Hannah Abbot? Why is it that her relatives were killed off so quickly? Or Susan Bones? What about Slughorn? Who became headmaster? I'd just like a book ties up the loose ends we already got rather than new ones that add more...

Well there's a lot of info on just those characters you mentioned, KT. Like how Draco Malfoy married Astoria Greengrass (younger sis to Daphne Greengrass). It was either Susan Bones or Hannah Abbot who married Neville Longbottom and one of them owns the Leaky Cauldron from what I've read from past interviews with JK. But yeah, it would be exciting to see some of the other developments...especially Dean Thomas!

Albus, would be great, in fiction HP series at some site they create a story that james sorted into Slytherin. The story is quite fun if that happen.

Well, for me it might be James. I'd be just thrilled if J.K. made a book about one of the kids.

i see what kt's saying like,if it'd be a bad hp book, then she shouldn't bother like..when the spice girls returned *shudders* and i personally also think it's better left to our imagination if we knew absolutely everything then everyone'd stop being so interested in it

Albus Severus all the way. But I agree I think another Potter series would just be too much. I know, blasphemy isn't it.

Albus is a neat kid. But honestly, I think I'd much rather know more about Teddy Tonks' life. A child born during the war. Loses his parents. I wonder how well of a godfather Harry was to him.

I really don't think she ever would or should write another HP sequel or whatever. There's no way that she could top Harry Potter, and she might just end up making HP look bad.

I wonder how the story would go though if they made a continuing series of Harry's kids, etc.

To be completely honest, I wouldn't want to read so much about Harry's kids. I think James's life would be too "prank'ish" (for lack of a better word) to have much depth, Lily would quite possibly be like reading Ginny's life all over, (and how much snogging can one reader really take? wink ) and I can't get over Albus's name, heh.
Teddy does sound like a really interesting plot...but I'd have to agree with the people above me and say that I'm not too sure I'd like to read a follow up series. JK is a brilliant writer, but I feel the same way about LotR - if Tolkien had continued on with a series about the King ruling and what not, I don't think it would have been as successful.
Of course, I would love to know more about what happened in between Voldemort's death and the epilogue - if she wrote a book about all of that, I would be eternally thrilled. rofl <- I would probably look like that, haha
